We had an amazing experience purchasing a car from Zack at Carriage Motors!! We had been looking for a large suv and had some not so great experiences looking.Zack was considerate of our requests and our time. He drove all the way to Lincoln to let us test drive it. I went up to sign my part of the papers because my husband had a prior engagement. He then drove to Lincoln to phage him sign his part.On top of that the rest of the staff was exceptional, from Kris the finance manager, vehicle inspector and the other salesmen that let my old son rev up his corvette!I am a customer experience program manager and this is what CX is all about.I highly recommend Carriage Motors and all their staff.

We stopped here today to look at new vehicles. They offered an embarrassing low amount for our trade-in, like we were driving something that would go to the scrap yard a few blocks away. We went to Lincoln instead and got almost TRIPLE the trade-in price that they offered. Besides that, their vehicles are very over-priced and they were not willing to budge at all. The management wouldn’t even say a word to us as we were leaving, just simply stared at us. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone!! Save your time and energy and go elsewhere.

There is a reason this place has such a great rating! & it comes down to the people. Everyone that I had the pleasure of speaking to here were so incredibly kind and genuine. It was a total breath of fresh of air compared to the lying, shady, extremely pushy car salesmen that I had dealt with at my local GMC dealership.I live in Kansas City and was looking for a 2021 GMC Terrain SLE with the skyscape sunroof. I ended up wasting days of my life playing into the games of my local dealership going around and around until they eventually told me they don’t have one (when they said they did) but could “get one.” By that time, I had already submitted an online “contact me” request to Carriage Motors since I had located the exact model I wanted through gmc.com. Within 20 minutes, I received a call from Erich. He was so nice, so normal, so down to earth, listened to and answered all of my questions, he confirmed with managers when he was not sure of an answer (before just telling me what I want to hear), and most importantly, he was not pushy AT ALL. I was a little hesitant at the idea of buying a car from another state, and not being able to see it in person prior. But, Erich truly was the reason I felt comfortable biting the bullet and getting everything done over the phone. He even said he could drive it down and deliver it to me with no extra fee! He kept me updated with pictures and videos of my new baby while I was waiting for a few things to get done (changed the emblems to black and got all weather mats) which was awesome! Within a couple days, everything was done and I had received my new SUV and I’ve been loving it! It was the easiest, least stressful, exciting car buying experience I have ever had.My ONLY constructive criticism would be that when my new SUV was delivered it wasn’t freshly washed and the gas was near empty (since it had just came from Nebraska). I think presentation goes a long way, and with a brand new vehicle those two things would have been nice. Just leaving this comment for the next folks who might go the route of getting it delivered.Definitely, still a 5 star experience all around! I feel confident that if anything were to come up I know I could reach out to them any time.If you’re hesitant, don’t be. This place is the real deal. They will treat you like the human being you are and are all genuinely good people. I can’t rave about Carriage Motors and Erich enough! Thank you!

A few weeks ago I bought a newer pickup. 2016 GMC Canyon. Beautiful pickup. But the backup camera wasnt working and the dealership said its repair was part of the price. But the part they needed to fix it was on back order so they let me take the pickup and would call to set up an appointment when it came in.They called me the 17th to tell the part was in, so I made an appoint for last friday the 26th. I was told the repair would take 1-1.5 hours to complete. So lets go over that, they had the part for more than a week. Just remember that.I drove 2 hours to Beatrice to get the repair done. Appointment was for 2pm, I was there ten minutes early. more than 2 hours later someone finally comes out to tell me they got the new key fob programmed. Hmm, Hang on ..... I am here to get the backup camera on my pickup repaired. Not get a new key fob, which I had gotten when I picked the pickup up a few weeks before.Guy tells me, oh well the wiring harness has to be assembled before putting it on. So they had the part for a week and a half, they knew I was traveling 2 hours for this repair and they didnt assemble the part ahead of time. At this point I am beyond ticked. So I request to speak to the general manager. He sweet talks me, and I agree to take home a new buick suv, cant haul lumber home in that though. I am not impressed with it. Other than it being new it has nothing going for it. They tell me they will deliver my truck when its done. That is the only reason I decided to leave, cause I was not driving back up there.Talking to my husband (certified GM mechanic) about what they said. He says wiring harnesses do not need to be assembled. A true GM wiring harness comes ready to install. So they lied to me.So today, I am needing lumber soon, and wanting to know when my truck will be done. I have Bryan call them, and of course they tried lying to him too. But he fed it right back to them. They even tried telling him they didnt even have the part. That they were still waiting on it. He called again and talked to the sales lady who was clueless and tried feeding Bryan a bunch of lies again. It seems like no one knows what is going on and they are just lying to customers to try to appease them. If I could return the pickup I would and go some where else!They called at 2 and said it was done and already on its way to my house. They had a young kid from the car cleanup department deliver it. So I didn’t say anything about it. He was innocent.Everything appears to be as it should be. Just glad I have my pickup back.

I wouldnt give it one star if I didnt have to. Took my truck to the service department to be worked on 8/2016 they said I need an intake gasket. I said okay, so they replaced the intake gasket.(3 days later, after I complained) Called and said that was done but that I had a lifter knocking. Now I didnt have a lifter knocking when I took it up there. So when I picked up I paid $620. Drove it home popped hood when I got home because it was pouring down rain when I got to Carriage and my truck was already out front. So when I got home I popped the hood looking around and asked my husband why I didnt have any antifreeze in my reserve tank. So he checked and I had no antifreeze what so ever. So we checked the oil. Nothing on the dipstick. I had no oil or antifreeze in my truck. So I called back to Carriage where I Spoke with Randy the first time. He said within the 10 minutes of me having my truck I couldve drained my own oil. And that my truck was knocking before I brought it in. Granted it had been to two mechanics before that who disagreed. And they werent fixing anything. Including oil or antifreeze. Very rude people,very unprofessional. A couple days later my husband had a voice-mail to call up to Carriage. So I called, apparently no one had left a message for me to call them. (lie) So I spoke with a Ryan guy who also told me he was doing nothing to help in fixing my truck and to get an attorney. Theyre extremely unprofessional. They dont pay attention to anything theyre doing. Especially to my truck. I took my truck to another local in town where he said I had no oil or antifreeze. Both commonly drained to repair intake gasket. I also had him fix my lifter knocking. They had gotten gasket pieces down in the lifter gumming it up causing it to knock! I wouldnt recommend them to anyone! Worst service Ive ever had. And thats why they so dont trust a mechanic!

I purchased a diesel pick up from them 10 months ago. I was in a bind and they knew it and took advantage of my situation and would not budge on their over priced asking price. Then after 10 months the emissions system ($3,000) needs replaced. Thats bad enough but Carriage does not offer a GM certified used car inspection and 12 month guarantee. So not only did I pay 3K too much for their vehicle now Im out another 3k in repairs that should have been under a GM certified warranty on a two year old vehicle. Buyer beware!!!

I am very disappointed in the SUV I purchased at Carriage Motors. It broke down the second day after I bought it-problems in the electrical system. I called them and they said sorry, but you bought it AS IS. Yes, for the financial fellow who wrote up the contract said it would cost $7,100 for an extended warranty. That was nearly the purchase price of the vehicle!! I live on Social Security and am single, which I dont want pity, guess I am at fault and I dont believe in suing people so will somehow work this out. I needed the vehicle to transport my family safely and this one was in my price range-and I trusted Carriage wouldnt sell anyone something that is ready for recycling!! Single gals...dont go there!
