Love breakfast burritos. And they have habanero salsa! YAY!

Always loved this place as a kid, and its been a good while since Ive had it. Still, Im never disappointed. The barbacoa is still good, love that its not too fatty and is full of flavor. I recommend the potatoes and egg with extra spicy potatoes. And make sure you grab the Chile before you head out, always great for an extra kick. Cant wait to go back

They need to improve the conditions here. Everytime that my husband has ordered a barbacoa taco, theyve only given him fat and grease in his tortilla. Its gross. Plus, I had seen some of the ladies eating while handing people their food. Very unsanitary.

This place does not pay it’s workers and get treated terribly. Many of the workers don’t get a raise even though they have been working there for years and they get paid a week late and the old lady has the audacity to steal hours from their workers. To top it off they use the same gloves from the day before to “save costs” violating COVID-19 guidelines. Don’t support this horrible place.

Wish they werent so greasy

I was expecting more because the last time I visited it was really good. Some changes in food preparation, better ingredients & timing needs to be addressed. Also, the Mens bathroom was filthy & needs a thorough cleaning from top- to-bottom.

Idk who the new kitchen staff are since they went off to their new location, my husband ordered taco breakfast to be delivery at our home (machacado tacos) and let me tell you.... THAT EGG WAS ALREADY EXPIRED!!! It smelled super funky and I trusted I was just hallucinating.. bet heck no. I took the first bit and I spit that out real quick. Never again ordering from here.

If you want a great breakfast burrito, this is the place. An awesome selection of items can be put in a homemade tortilla, and you are one your way in a jiffy. You can order ahead to avoid any line, and they accept cash or cards. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. One of the best breakfast spots in Baytown!

Born and raised in the Baytown and surrounding Houston area. Ive yet to find any better burritos on this side of the border. The staff is always friendly and upbeat. They always make sure to get your order right. Five Star customer service and definitely Five Stars on the Burrito. Thanks D&D

Im sorry to say but I usually get exactly what I order but today was not the case. Owners wife was on the phone talking and got my order wrong. However, that doesnt mean I will not return as they have always had the best tacos in town. Just not today!

Good fajitas

I have been going to this business for over 12 years. Food and service continues to be great.

Tacos tortillas were cold and food wasnt fresh. The lady fixing the food didnt seem to take too much pride in fixing the orders. Tacos used to taste good now their just trying to make a dollar throwing orders together. Please offer fresh food all throughout the day!!!!

So sad this place was a Baytown staple!! Always went there before school since I can remember!! Tacos and Mexican bread were great THEN....not unfortunately the quality of the food is not good... and sadly no more breads....they show it on their search but really don’t carry it. Truly disappointed!!!

Place looks like an abandoned building from the outside but they have a little bakery and hot food place in the back. It was probably not a place to get alot of groceries but they have drinks and snacks and counter lady was nice. Its really a charming little store to stop by before Calypso cove

Not the same as it used to be. I personally dont like to walk into a business and the first thing you see is a letter of a heath violation

I have been going to C&Ds for the past 18 years and have never been disappointed. I have tried many other Mexican bakeries and groceries over the years and nobody can compare with C&Ds wide selection of fresh pastries and the value and flavor of their breakfast burritos. I always get the 10 for $6.50 deal. Its a comfort food for me and just reminds me of my childhood every time I go and have my favorite food.

Im so sad to hear the building burned. However it warms my heart to hear they are looking for a new location and that they are staying positive!C & Ds always has GREAT burritos any time of the day. Patiently waiting for them to open their new doors.

The only reason they dont get 5 stars is there was egg shell in my eggs...this is unusual...I wish the cheese wasnt so watered down. I eat there almost every weekend...great food, friendly staff ....

Great little Hispanic taqueria run by family. Tasty breakfast burritos and bakery. Service is one at a time. But oh so well worth it. Priced to please.

EVERYTHING went with the fire!! No longer the same food consistency! Dont even bother!!I decided to recently go. They got rid of the green chicharrón sauce. The red one is ok but I got food poisoning from it!!! Im officially done with this place. I went June 2,2021 & Im still suffering the effects of it!!!

I like eating good Mexican food, they serve good Mexican food... Everybodys happy .... dont let the word grocery fool you. C&Ds is a taqueria. Their original building burned down so theyre in a temporary building until the other building is rebuilt. Great tacos or hot plates. It says alot for me to use the word great. In Baytown if you want Mexican food, my opinion is that C & Ds is better than the rest.

Was best taco place in Baytown so sad it was destroyed by fire. Hell I basically grew up eating their food. So many memories

Little hole-in-the-wall or mom-and-pop place that you wouldnt put to much stock into from the outside but there fajitas and burritos are great, the have a good panadaria in back that has great sugar cookies and cream puffs and a convenient store line up of chips and sodas (several glass bottled options as well). A Baytown staple for years.

They had some of the best tacos around. Unfortunately, a few weeks back they had a fire which destroyed the building. They are suppose to rebuild.

Better than Mexico!

This place has been around since i was 15 years old. Since the original place burned down. I dont think they will be able to stay in bussiness much longer. The quality has really went down hill. It is sad to see this happening. My photo is what i mean with quality probkem. Tbis is a fajita, with bacon and cheese.They used to put 1 to 2 strips of bacon all way across the taco. And the cheese is barely there as well. This used to run out the ends onto the paper.If i manage to see the owner. I will be talking to him about it. He knows me because of multiple encounters with him over the past 20 years.

Awesome place to get lunch at when you are working at the Exxon up the street.

Used to be a favorite place been going there for years & went to school with the owners kids but ever since theyve moved the service has been horrible and they are extremely rude. Its ashamed the food was really good but I wont be going back.

Ive been going to this place for over 30 years even when they had 3 locations in Baytown, the one on Missouri ST, and the other one behind the Robert E Lee High School, the one left today on Market ST, I always go there to buy a Torta (at least twice a week) the best Tortas in town!

So sorry it burned down but cant wsit for the reopening. Nice people, been here many yrs and the tacos are delicious
