Michaels is one of our favorite places since we are a crafty family. We went shopping this time for yarn and embroidery thread. Always clean and well organized. The people that work there are friendly and courteous.

I love this Michales! This location always has everything I need. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The lines can be long at times, but its completely understandable as this is the only arts and crafts location in the area.

Great store, lots of options and choices. Wether it be for someone with artistic talent looking for new paints, canvasses etc, possible crafts for young children or even getting stuff for your house to decorate per season or holiday. The lines can be brutal at times

Just moved to Bayonne and was excited to see a Michael’s five minutes from my home. So much for excitement cause I WILL NOT be going back there. All i needed was some draw string bags. That’s it! It would have taken nothing for the associates to tell me where they were located. You guys didn’t even have to walk me over there, just point or tell me what Section. I guess the associates conversation was much more important. THANKS FOR THE HELP. I found them on my own, and if I didn’t need them right away I would of left and not spend of my money in your location. if you didn’t want to work that day you should have called out instead of making customers feel like they was a bother to you and give them eye rolls and attitude. But no worries, I won’t be returning to your location.

This place is always a bit of a mess. The staff are moderately helpful which is understandable in this climate, but there seems to be more emphasis with checkout and no store upkeep.

Fun to walk around and see what they had in stock. Not much of a crafter, but I did see lots of different items I would definitely get as gifts. Staff was friendly, but the cashiers were kinda slow. Im just used to people being rushed, I guess. It didnt really bother me, as they were nice as well. Overall a really nice store!

Disappointing. I was looking for jewelry displays for my photography. Couldnt find any. I thought an arts and crafts store might have manikins, sculptural forms, etc. I walked aisle by aisle - didnt find anything. Guess Ill have to find an art supply store.

The collection is somewhat ok. Not too many options for photo frames, gift bags and crowns (I was looking for stuff for a birthday party with prince theme). The store is nice and clean, organized properly.

So Im starting a business and needed a clothing printer and some other stuff. I brought a good printer and lettering all kind of stuff for a low price. I was so excited and happy

I have had to go there for picture frames a few times and am always amazed at all the other art stuff they have. Really makes you want to try a hobby.

I like this Michaels. It has a wide variety of brands, tools, items, to suit every hobby enthusiast. Its a large store, (not huge), so you can walk around and see things you might not have thought about getting, when you went in. Staff doesnt bother you, but they can also be hard to find, if you have a question. The check out lines can get pretty long. Maybe hiring, or putting more staff on schedule, would help alleviate things. All in all a decent store.

Easy to find everything. Prices are awesome. Staff is helpful. I gave 4 stars only because there is always a long line and I mean LONG. The wait time wasnt that bad this time though.

Was looking for non traditional easter egg sizes and could not find them anywhere, but I knew Michaels would have what I needed. Great store for creative and non traditional craft items.

I have been waiting on my canvases to be put on a wooden frame for a month now. I paid over $100 to get them done. No one has called me to tell me they are ready and when i call the line gets disconnected every time.

More for your daughters middle school art project than for anybody taking art seriously. Its good if you need something generic because they always have discounts going on.Store feels like a Party City

Found exactly what I was looking for!

Shelves are relatively empty did not have what I was looking for.

It has decent stock for any artist or crafter. The prices are good. And you can find stuff you like on clearance sale. The small blank canvases are very affordable, but the larger ones (2, 3 ft.) are too price-y. Sometimes a lone checkout person could use help with the socially distanced line.

Michaels is my favorite place to go for decorations and art supplies.

It is very hard to get here by light rail. You need to walk next to a very busy road to get here. No sidewalk for pedestrians.

A roomy store, fairly clean, and chuck full of crafting options.There are two advantages to coming here over a a place like Walmart. Better variety and better quality options. Drawback is not doing all in one shopping.Compared to online options, you can see the products first hand and better see the potential in crafts and most are here in the spot. The negative is that online options will always offer a bigger selection.

I just want to thank the picture framing department for helping me find a boarder, frame color, frame my military pictures with 2 Navy emblems for my moms birthday present. It came out awesome that I came back and got my Navy wood coasters put in a shadow box. Thanks for the great, outstanding advice, knowledge, and awesome job by this department that I decided to frame the rest of my military pictures and my Navy uniform.

Michaels is my go-to arts and crafts store. They have just about anything you can think of if you want to start a crafting project or create some artwork. The prices can be high for some of the products here, but they always have some sort of 40% coupon online that you can use in the store.

This is really the only big box craft spot around. It had a large selection, but lacks on the material side and fake plants. I never seem to find what I need here for some reason and its very expensive. Friendly staff though... And remarkable tidy.

Lots of sales and coupons e-mailed to you. Great for teachers, camp counselors and parents, who want to get arts & crafts supplies for their children/students. Plenty of free parking. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable employees at the cash registers at check out. Would definitely go back again!

Melani Leon offered me a great customer service going an extra mile for me. She did not only assist me in shopping but also finding a lost personal item.More employees should be like her.

What can I say? I love this store. Its generally well-stocked and neat. The staff is helpful. It can get busy at times when checking out, but they usually try to open more registers and employees seem well trained.

Ghetto workers who do not tend to customer needs. I saw Malika turn a senior away from framing because she did not want to work. Poor senior said Ill come Back another day you guys seem busy talking to her crusty co worker who smells like curry.

I was helped by a very stressed out employee who still took the time to help me with a smile. Michaels should be treating their employees like gold because they all work very hard there.

Friendly staff, clean and organized store09/19/2020I have to change my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars because of an employee by the name of Linda in your framing department. I went into your store looking for a frame when I noticed you have custom framing on sale. So I decided to get a quote. Linda was the employee who helped me. If that is what you call helping me. I felt she was condescending when speaking to me about how I wished my item to be framed, but I decided to go ahead and get the framing started. I also got a second quote for another item that I wanted to bring back later in the week before the sale ended.The next day I decided to take the second item to get framed as well when I walked into the department I seen that Linda was working and I was disappointed to see her. I was hoping that another employee would be there to help me, but as she walked by me I said hello and she said hello and continue to walk on by. She walked to the employee area so I asked another employee if they could help me, and they told me they would get the person who works in this department. The employee came back and said the person is on lunch and I would have to wait until she is finished. This was 10:45am in the morning so I decided to give up on the second frame and just wait for my first item to be completed.I got a call this morning that my frame was ready for pickup. So I came in to get my frame. The first thing I noticed there was a outward bow on both sides of the frame. Linda insisted that it was an illusion and that it must me the way my eyes are picking it up because it wasnt on a wall. So I asked if she had a tape measure. She went to get one, and refused to let me measure the frame myself, but she said there was an 1/16 of an inch off from the middle to the top and bottom of the frame. I believe it was more than a 1/16 of a inch for me to pick it up when I first seen it.So I stated I wanted it to be completed correctly. She insisted that if I didnt take it that I would have to wait 2 weeks to get it back. I didnt care I wanted it done correctly but I was annoyed that she was trying to push this shoddy work on me. So I refused to take it and spoke with a manager about Lindas attitude towards me, and my disappointment with the frame I had completed.I have no idea what I did to Linda, but it is clear on three occasions she made me feel unwelcomed as though she was too good to service me as a customer of Michaels. I will continue to shop there but as long as she is in the framing department I will refused to every have another frame done at this location again.I am sorry for writing this but I felt after see the work done on my frame and Linda insisting that I take it. That I had to write about my experience.

Maryanne is the best employee that I have ever come across......any employee that can help me save money is a great employee in my book. I was able to shop my life away as a beaded bracelet maker and Maryanne directed me to coupons that I used to save even further. I was there on Memorial day(there was a sale on beads) . Variety and stock of items are good.

Our cashier, Mary Ann was so nice and polite. She really helped us teachers get what we needed.The items there are expensive compared to hobby lobby

As far as craft stores go its ok. I look for model kits and they are very poor in their selection and are overpriced in that area. Other areas they are decent but again prices could be more competitive. Staff is so-so. Some are good others couldnt be bothered. Its best if you know what you are looking for if you go to save time and not have to rely on employees for help. Would try Hobby Lobby before going here.

Eveything you need for crafting, creating gifts for others. Store offs well maintained. Aisles are free and clear of any obstructions and items. Staff very helpful as well.

Great place to get crafts. We bought everything we needed to create all our christmas decorations here. Picture below shows the bows we made that we put on the tree. We also made our own ugly sweeter from what we purchased here.

Went there to buy a 10 x 10 frame for a painting that I have do not carry that size. Have to get a custom made frame for it. When I asked the person there about it they didnt have an answer. You sell 10 x 10 canvas but dont carry 10 x 10 frames. Doesnt make sense to me.
