This shop is great. I brought my Jeep here to have a transmission leak looked at that a transmission shop looked at twice and couldnt repair. They replaced the entire pan and seal, and the price was pennies compared to what Ive spent already. At the same time they did my rear brakes, calipers, rotors and an oil change. I had my truck back the same day and I couldnt be happier. I look forward to continued business with these great people for years to come.

Been going to Matt for over 25 yrs. The guy has fixed my bicycles/go-kart/mopeds in my younger years. Now Im an adult hes fixed my cars, my girls car, and a few of my family members cars also a couple of my friends cars plus tax 😉... Always good customer service. Make sure your paying attention while hes explaining your vehicles issues and youll get a ballpark figure of what your repairs might cost. Great mechanic knows hes s**t. I was very happy with the Brightside Auto team. When driving in from out of state to try and catch a ferry to Fire Island, my break calipers on the front ends blew and the breaks began to heat up quick and stick. Extremely pressed for time I luckily called brightside en route to the ferry to have them work on it over the weekend. En route to the ferry I called an Uber from the shop to the dock, the uber cancelled last minute. One of the mechanics/shops owners son ended up dropping me off in my truck when he was test driving it for the breaks and saved me BIG TIME. They quoted me solid, did solid work on the truck while I was on the island, and accommodated my leaving date which was Sunday. Solid crew, solid people. Hard to come by these days. Great price fast repair

I called on a Saturday to fix my corroded tire valve and they told me to come right in. They immediately started working on my car and were finished 10 minutes later. Management was super accommodating and professional. I will go here for all my vehicle needs from now on. I loved them!!

Dont do your car here, the boss was very rude and they lie a lot and they kept taken money from me. when my mother kept asking them question they were getting mad. manger was very rude. dont do your car here its a rip off. I found out they were trying to fix my car but they kept ruining it so my sister can come back to fix other items on the car and they kept charging money after money.

I have been going to Brightside automotive for 30 years . Always a pleasant experience , they are not like the monkeys with hammers like at Pep boys or like Mavis . Most of my repairs are done while I wait , so I have to say out of all my experiences in auto repairs , Brightside has always treated me like family .

Owner very disrespectful and rude. They tell you a low number to do the work and then when your cars done they add on 100’s of dollars. I brought my car there twice and the same problem kept happening so they can continue to charge me for the same thing. I don’t understand why people just can’t be honest and respectful you can still make money.
