Matt in Strings section located downstairs is a very nice man. He can flawlessly set-up your guitar back to spec.Very pleased, cheaper than Guitar Center.

I am just starting to learn to play guitar and my teacher, Mary is fantastic. She is kind, and patient. Weve only had 2 sessions but I can already tell i would like to learn with her for the long run.I bought 2 guitars and my dad suggested that I get them setup. I took the first guitar down to Matt and he did a fabulous job. He worked with me in every detail. I saw that there was a way to change my tuning pegs to black and he didnt hesitate to do them. Not only that he suggested that there was an option to change out the chrome bridge to black ones. He did a wonderful job and I am more than happy to have him setup my other guitar.

If you are an instrumentalist, Herters is a place you NEED to know. From the supplies for just about everything you will need (reeds, valve grease, music stands, new mouthpieces, etc.), to new instruments, instrument repair, and sheet music, they have it all. They take really good care of school instruments for kids just learning their craft, and even offer private instruction. Staffed by people who really care about music (and actually play instruments), they understand your needs and make every effort to see that you are happy and your needs are met.

Instrument repairs are available, as well as music lessons on a wide range of instruments. Lessons run around $18 for 30 minutes. You owe it to yourself to check The Music Center out. Great place with a knowledgeable and friendly staff.

We have been going to Herters for years for music, but had to go for an electronic issue with my Yamaha Grand Key Board. They had it fixed in minutes. Love Herters.

Disappointing staff; lack of communication when scheduling lessons. Scheduling and managerial staff treat instructors differently; e-mail and calls go unanswered. Would not recommend doing business with Herter’s.

Cool dude helped me quite a bit with my little insturment. I highly recommend these guys mainly because theyre the only kids in the area that do anything with musical instruments and also have the capacity to handle these expensive items.

Buying instruments here is expensive, but they are the highest quality instruments. The guitar tech is highly skilled. I would take any guitar here for set up or repair.

These guys are amazing! My son broke a valve on his trumpet the day before a concert. We took it into Herter and they had it repaired and back to us in 30 minutes.

Great instrument repair guy. When I accidentally snapped my trombone in half during marching band practice (long story) they had it back to me in perfect working order within the same week.
