Not happy at all that I went to purchase a pressure cooker that the on-line store said was in stock only to be told that it is a special order item. I showed the clerk that the on-line store indicated it was in stock and he said they are changing things and it was special order. This is one of the reasons Amazon dominates the market. If you say you stock something, it best be there or youll lose business.

Staff wasnt helpful at all.. very short and didnt acknowledge that I needed help. One guy finished with the last customer and just started to Read the newspaper.. I know when Im not wanted somewhere..

When youre too far from a major retailer this place usually has various items for electronics and has a good hardware selection. They are overpriced on many things and I hated spending over $10 on a 2 way splitter when they average less than $4 elsewhere. They need a bigger pet selection and cheaper prices because they are only a store I go to in an emergency.

Asked for help and were told, I dont have time to help. I have to get to the register. Should be somewhere in aisle 7 or 8.

Decent hardware store for a quick stop, the selection isnt as big as lowes or menards but u can usually find what u need in a pinch, may cost a few pennys more, but depending on your location it may balance out or be cheaper when u figure gas and time getting to and through the bigger stores

We went only for the kids ornament event. The staff member in charge of the activity made the entire ornament herself. Perhaps she thought my child was too young to be involved but he definitely could have helped in some capacity. Pretty disappointing.

Great selection of various items at this hardware. The employees are friendly, courteous and helpful. Selection of nuts, bolts and screws is pretty good, with a section of stainless fasteners also. Some craftsman tools and a nice variety of Stihl power equipment. Check them out, they will most likely have what you are looking to purchase.

I just paid $20 for a qt of custom color paint. I realize this is a non returnable item, but the color is MUCH darker than the 1 sq sample I took in to be matched. Why is this non-returnable if the product is wrong and non-usable. Someone made a mistake. I guess the mistake was mine in choosing ACE Hardware to match paint!I received a second attempt at color matching, MUCH closer to sample. Thanks, Ace.

I waited 30 minutes to get a gallon of paint. The gentleman working in the paint dept. never acknowledged my existence, let me know hed be with shortly, etc. He was able to have a wonderful conversation with the family he was helping, about whether or not he was dating anyone, how his family was, etc. Poor experience and I walked out with no paint.

There were 3 associates standing around 1 checkout & when asked for assistance finding an item, they were ALL apparently to busy to assist, because all I received was verbal directions (which, by the way, were incorrect)!!!!

Friendly but not helpful. I walked in and needed help finding the right size bolts. I was told what isle they were in. I went back, I was having difficulty so I called my husband. A customer over heard and he helped me and was in agreement that you are on your own at Ace. I went to the register and the same clerk that directed me to the isle, was friendly and asked if I found what I was looking for. I told him that since nobody helped me from Ace, a customer helped me. He literally said...ohhh good... Glad you were helped. Clearly my point of not being helped by an employee didnt get across.

I live locally and was happy that the hardware got new owners and stayed in our community.I had an emergency and need a drain product.I called to see when the closed, I was on my way and would close to 8 when they closed.I told you young lady on the phone I was cutting it close but should be there by 8. I offered to give her my card as I was driving and pay for the item.She said they couldn’t take my card. I arrived at7:58, parked and ran to the door. I could see someone inside but when I tried the door it was locked, I knocked , no one came. I then called and the same young lady answered. I reminded her I called and said I was there. She said I’m sorry our doors lock automatically at 8.Hmmmmm. If that’s the case and they can not over ride to licking for a customer....... why didn’t she say that to me on the phone so I didn’tHurry there for nothing .... not a place with a customer focus. Very disappointing .
