I called the service department hoping to find tires for my bike. They did not have them in stock. But Chelsea called their sister store Hammond and got both tires the same day and changed them out! My bike was washed and shining for my ride. Thank you Baton Rouge Harley-Davidson

New owners.Had bad experience with old owners would sell you bike then not service it.Was very hesitant on stopping to look at bikes due to past experiences.Surprised the staff was nice and actually talked to you took time to show me bikes I was interested in.Needless to say I bought a bike and they will take care of you after the sale.Got my new ride and love it.

Brought my bike in for service. Outstanding service department. I was blown away by the customer service I received from the minute I walked in the door. Usually you don’t find this anymore. Chelsea assisted me and was more than helpful and did not try to “get over on me” just because I’m a female like most dealers/service departments do. I don’t usually come to this location as it’s out of my way, but I will definitely be coming here for all future needs. I also took a look around the retail store, I didn’t buy anything but I was spoken to by multiple friendly employees.

Amazing staff, knowledgeable, professional and not pushy. My husband and I visited several times and have yet to take the plunge, but thats changing soon! We always purchase some gear to add to our collection, so its time for the bike!The open road is definitely better than wearing a mask indoors, so thanks Covid for making this happen!

I want to thank Jayme for hooking me up with an awesome surprise box of goodies from Baton Rouge HD! I was passing through the area making my way to Fort Benning for work and called ahead to ask them to leave a poker chip outside because I’d be passing when they were closed. It pains me to even type this. Ive always loved everything about Harley Davidson.. until my experience at Baton Rouge Harley Davidson. They are inconsistent with their staff. Seems like anyone can get a job there. Id like to advise anyone to not purchase from here. Ive been compelled to switch to a INDIAN because of how terrible the service was. At lease I will be avoiding Harley Tax and a oil leak at 8000 miles. The dealership underwent massive changes and I hope for a turn around. God Bless

So I came in to drop off some paper work for a friend and was totally brushed to the side. 1st red flag. When I finally was able to give the person I need to give paperwork he said is it all of it. 2nd red flag. Then while I was waiting looking around possibly for my self to buy a Harley no sales consultants got up and even asked a question for myself. I felt like no one cared about my time.

04-28-2021 I took my 2012 ultaclassic Harley Davidson in for a complete oil change and a dyno tune. When I got my bike back several days later, 05-05-2021 there is gouge marks on the side of my tour pack. My bike didn’t have at the time but 10,000 miles on it and it’s kept in a climate controlled building. Looks brand new. They took touch up paint and filled in the marks and buffed it. Still looked bad. Then they said they would order paint and fix it. The paint never came in, so I bought paint. Then they said the painter had been fired. They had and have no intention of doing the honorable thing, that any reputable business would have done, repair or replace part. Harley Davidson corporate has little or no control over these independently owned dealerships Baton Rouge and Hammond are owned by the same people and operated by the same general Manager. If you take your bike to a dealerships and something is damaged, stolen, or not repaired properly you depend on the honesty and honor of the people who own and operate the business to do the right thing. Taking them to court for 800.00 dollars cost more than the cost of the legal system and dishonest people know it. I see from the response from whoever responded to this review that out right deception is not out of there reach. You sir don’t tell the truth.THE REASON IM JUST NOW POSTING THIS IS BECAUSE IM A CHRISTIAN AND I TRY AND GIVE EVERYONE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO DO TH RIGHT THING. Price advertised is NOT final price. They are offering a 500 for $4,399, they tried to charge me another $600+ for something called prep fee which is nothing more than an expensive wash... because in my point of view, that is something they should do on their own, in other words, they should inspect and know the status of the vehicle they are trying to sell... so the price of the bike was not $4399 but $4999... I tried to negotiate but they just ignored me, it was a total waste of time, they should state his hidden fee straight on the page they advertise the bike... what prep fee would you charge for a bike with only 190 miles?NOTE: Im not talking about the title, license, tax, etc fees... Im complaining about the extra invented fee, the prep fee.

We did NOT need to sell our bike. Your dealership was the one that reached out to us WANTING to buy it. Had my 1200 sportster for sale online for $4400. Karlee messaged me several times wanting to buy it. I told her the dealer would not give me close to what I was asking for. I recently went to the Harley Davidson store to purchase my uncle some t-shirts! I am part of the LGBTQ+ and felt super judged and uncomfortable entering the store. I actually ended up not purchasing anything due to the fact that the sales people were rude as ever. They will not get any repeat business from me!!!!! Worst Harley Davidson experience Ive ever had! Will continue to do all my business in New Orleans even though it is a further drive.

This would be zero stars. There were no ladies clothing that said Baton Rouge, and very few anyway. Nothing in my wifes size, everything was huge. When I did find a shirt I wanted to buy, no one would ring us up. I had to holler to get anyones attention. They had to go find someone to do it. We waited a while, finally gave up and walked out. No one said a word to us as we were leaving. What a great way to lose customers. VERY disappointing!

I dont understand why pricing a bike is such a shell game. Why do we have to run my information before I even know a price? I spoke to Mr. John when I went in, super cool guy, really nice, ex-firefighter, appreciate you Mr.John. Sales manager gave him a price to offer me of about $5000 over MSRP. Cmon guys, most people research like crazy before they physically go into the store. End the games and post your prices online.

I usually don’t write reviews but this was worth sharing. I wanted to order a part so I called and spoke with someone in parts. This person informed me about the part and never once said this would be a final sale item. I thought just like anywhere else you buy parts you would be able to return an unused item with the original receipt. I ended up not needing the part and tried to return it and they would not accept it. It frustrates me that no one ever warned me before I purchased the part that it would be a final sale and if for some reason I did not need it or got the wrong thing, I could not return it!! I was planning on buying other parts and accessories from here but now this inconvenience has changed my mind. It would be one thing if it was a $50 part, but it was over $260 for this part. Once again, you would think they would work with you for the fact that they did not state that the part you are fixing to buy is non refundable. Pathetic.

I am going on 72 years old, and this is my 4th Harley. The first was bought from a friend. The last 3 have been bought from Baton Rouge Harley Davidson. Bought bike Feb 3, 2021; Softail Standard 2021. The Harley shop did a Stage 1. Love the bike; 107 cubic inches. Beaux was salesman, and Jimmy Fontenot was the head salesman. The whole staff was awesome. Darrel was in service dept, and Rob was the mechanic. I have been riding for 58 years; have both complete shoulder replacements. Couldnt handle not having a another bike. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with this shop. I dont want to leave anyone out, so Ill just say I would highly recommend Baton Rouge Harley Davidson when you buy your next Harley.

Was purchasing an 09’ Road King and found a better deal at another dealership. Baton Rouge charged me the whole down payment $1,000 for restocking fee. Ridiculous!! Sure a couple hundred bus LS but not a grand!!!Then they charged $100 shop fee for a handlebar swap on a two yr old bike.Stay away!!!

**BUYER BEWARE**I attempted to purchase a bike from this dealership. I had went through the entire buying process, got approved for financing, and overnighted my deposit check to them. The next day, I had not heard anything from the Sales or Finance Teams. I called the dealership, they notified me that the bike I was trying to purchase was sold that morning AFTER I HAD FINANCING APPROVED AND DEPOSIT WAS SENT TO THEM. When inquiring about this issue all anyone can tell me is that it was a simple case of miscommunication. They will not work with me on similar priced bikes. I recommend not working with this dealer.

The lady that was helping us on the floor was really nice! She told us the shirts were buy one get one free. As long as they had their logo on it. We picked our shirts and showed it to her she said that count as the buy on get one free! Well we went to the cashier and we ended paying full price for both. We told him what the lady told us he wasn’t having it. He just kept saying no and didnt offer to even speak with the lady. We just paid and left. It was really nice looking inside tho. And the parts department did a lot to help my husband with his bike.

My bike was dropped off for a safety inspection. The staff was very friendly and took the time to understand why I was requesting this. The inspection was so thorough they caught many problems I did not know existed. This was not a quick once over. When I got the bike back it ran like it did when the motor was fresh. All my problems were corrected. Terri, at the service counter, is always smiling and obviously enjoys her job. I would highly recommend this dealer for service. And with my limited interactions with sales and parts I can predict that my experiences with the dealer as a whole will be the same.

Best its been in a long time. I use to go to Harley with my uncle when I was younger and I loved it. The people were friendly and it just had that classic biker atmosphere. Then the employees started to only care about sales and not about their customers. During this holiday season I decided to go back and see what all had changed and let me tell you Im glad that I did. I was helped by a young girl from motor clothes named Nicole. She was super sweet and very helpful. Id definitely recommend this store to anyone.

Spent some time with Perry and Leonard trying to work a deal on a 2016 Fatboy. Even though I couldnt do the deal, they understood and went out of their way to try and accommodate me on the purchase. Boyfriend and I went to buy a helmet and after about 10 mins had a person asking us about the bikes. We looked around and asked HOW MUCH a bike was, still no intentions of buying one, and next thing we knew we were in an office being told we were buying it. My boyfriend said multiple times he didn’t want the bike and was told every time that it was too late, yet no payment had even been made. AFTER signing all the papers we were then told the warranty that was supposed to be included, was not and would be an extra $600 on a separate payment. Reluctantly, we took the bike home and less than 24 hours later returned and talked to a general manager who said he did not believe we were lied too, or pressured into buying the bike and the only thing he would do was try to resell the bike (screw someone else). It didn’t sell so we went back to get it and while driving down the interstate one of the saddle bags flew off. Thankfully after cheating us out of $16,000, they were generous enough to order the $500 saddle bag, on them. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see that offer go away after leaving this review. it’s a shame that grown men would prey on a young couple like that, but hopefully anyone who reads this will think twice before going here.

Rob in service rocks! My wife and I were on vacation and decided to trade bikes. We were treated well by everyone that we met in the store. It was a good experience. The 5 star rating is for the service that we received from Daryl as he lined everything out for us so that we could get back on the road. Rob in the service department is awesome! I have been associated with BR Harley since 2013. I just purchased my 4th bike this past November--a 2018 Heritage with the Milwaukee 8 - 114. LORD I LOVE THIS 4TH BIKE!! I selected every employee name because I know ALL of them. I have dealt with every employee in one way or another in the past. I believe I have an excellent basis for making this review. Is BR Harley perfect? Certainly not but NO Harley dealership is perfect. It is impossible for a dealership to be perfect every time you walk in the door. There have been times in the past when I was really upset with one thing or another and walked out cursing the dealership and all the employees but those were isolated instances. The real question is how do I feel in general? I am well aware there have been some past problems with the dealership GM which has hurt the BR Harley reputation. I can truthfully say, however, I have met and carefully observed the current GM, and I am convinced he has the dealership moving in the right direction. I have seen several employees return to BR Harley who previously left because of GM problems. This speaks volumes in itself. In addition, because I know the employees so well many are more than willing to speak honestly to me about the dealership and any problems. Recently the scuttlebutt has been very positive, and I have noted a noted a significant positive change in employee demeanor. For the reasons above, I give BR Harley a 4 Star rating. Naturally, some will say why not 5 stars if I am so favorable? Simple--I said BR Harley is not perfect but it IS moving in the right direction. I fully expect, however, the day will soon come when I give it 5 Stars.

Seems they are so busy trying to get new customers, they forget about keeping existing ones. Although there are some good people there, (I blame management), I wasn’t happy with rip off service plan purchased with my 17 Road king nor the service department, where my bike spent way too many nights. They might not have enough technicians. I feltlike my bike (and me) was low priority, so I bought my new bike and service plan elsewhere.. Longer drive, but happy so far. My new dealership seems to appreciate my business.n

I can begin to tell you how great the people are over Baton Rouge Harley Davidson... I was ravelling through town from Houston and had some bike problems and stopped at this wonderful place. While we had a pleasant experience with the staff in the back of the store (one lady was great in showing my son a helmet and all of its features) and at the back counter (the guy was helpful in finding parts for my dad). As Harley dealerships go this one was about average. However what stood out from so many others was their incredible sales staff members. A comfortable rest stop along lifes journey. ~V.

I purchased a Harley from Baton Rouge Harley and have found that every time I go into this store they seem to have the most helpful sales staff, the friendliest finance staff.. They need to have someone who is knowledgable about Harley parts and what is in their department. There was one girl there who did not even ask if I needed assistance when it was obvious I did. I waited until she was off the phone then had to ask her. She didnt appear to know anything. Granted, maybe shes new? (we all have to start somewhere). Its not right to her or any of your potential customers to not have decent service. On the flip side, although I wasnt asked if I needed assistance with anything (not even approached) in the apparel department, when I did make my way to the counter the lady there was very friendly and helpful.

Horrible service department. Bike was there just a little over 5 months. They kept giving me the run around about when my bike will be ready. It was there so long they actually closed out the ticket and reopen to make it look like the bike was there only over a month. But really if they think a month is a good time to show in there system for a bike being there something is really wrong with there services dept. They will not follow up with you so you can forget that completely. You will have to call them. Be advise take your bike else were to get services work cause at Baton rouge Harley Davidson you will not get great customer services from the service dept. Im sure the sales side is awesome because they want the sale but the after the sale trust the services is completely shame. Be advise I have never wrote a bad review on any business in my life because I know things happen. But this place of business is unbelievable.
