It came in from Houston within the allotted time frame, even with Hurricane Ida. When the car arrived it was cleaned, detailed & gassed up! I arrived and Sonja sat in the car with me to show me all the technology and hooked up my Apple play! It was a wonderful experience!

Paid over 700 to fix a leak that they eventually found to be from my windshield replacement. They did not provide a rental until one week after they had my car, parts were back ordered, pieces of my car weren’t put back, they charged me more after the windshield company helped to cover the damages the window caused, from a part that wasn’t even needed. They would not waive the charge. After I drove my car a while, I noticed my phone usb will not work/dash isn’t really connected back. They said they didn’t remove any part of the dash but also claimed they removed the carpet to dry it, which was the bulk of the 700 charges. The reason I opted to pay that was upon their urging not doing so would effect electrical components. The connections are not reconnected right or water did damage it and they will not return my call. I left them a vm a week ago. I am furious.

I knew what I wanted and was prepared when I arrived. The service was great and the process went smoothly. Not too happy after having some time to think on the issue. I went to get my car serviced because of a rattling noise in the back of my vehicle. Turns out, it was exactly what I thought it was. The service guy working with my husband and I let us know the issue and a couple of other things the car could use for maintenance and we agreed to everything except the tire rotation because we know how to rotate our tires. Well once we go to pick up the vehicle, we’re charged for the tire rotation. We decided to just pay for it and go but that’s just grimey and greedy. I chose to go to Richard’s Honda thinking it would be a better option than other places but obviously, it wasn’t. So I definitely won’t be returning here to get my car serviced. I mean, don’t just tack on services if the customer specifically declined it. The total that the service guy told us on the phone was about $500-something when the tire rotation wasn’t added on so with tax, it should’ve been under $700 but we ended up paying over $700. That’s just not cool.

I live in New Orleans but travel to Gonzales and the surrounding areas quite often for business. The best customer service I’ve received has come from Chelsea at Richards Honda. My vehicle was not even bought from this dealership, but Chelsea makes me feel like family every time I come in and doesn’t hesitate to answer any questions I reach out to her with. Just purchased the 2021 Honda Elite, wanted a specific color, spoke with Courtney and she checked and was able to find that color for me, went in the next morning and Courtney was off so she let Sonja know I was coming in and what i was looking for. Sonja was an absolute pleasure to work with. She has a great personality and goes above and beyond to to cater to her clients. I was able to get my vehicle at the price I wanted and also what I wanted for my tradein. Richards Honda had to pick up my vehicle from another dealership and Sonja delivered it to my office in Hammond the next morning.Steve Garic handled my financing and the process was very smooth. ANYONE BUYING A CAR HERE BEWARE THE POSITIVE GOOGLE REVIEWS! these are the reviews right after you purchase your car, go look at YELP reviews on how the actual service department is. I had the best experience BUYING a car from Richards Honda, but then the real trouble started when bringing it to the SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I am consistent and pride myself on staying on top of maintenance needed for my brand new car. I just had my tires rotated and oil changed 2 months ago and then today when I brought it to be checked for a tire loosing air they slammed me with oh yeah, well your tread is really bad and you actually need all 4 new tires How in the world did I go from having perfectly good tires 2 months ago to now needing all 4 brand new tires? Mind you also this is a 2 year old car with only 20,000miles on it. I do not drive a lot. I dont mind having to buy new tires if needed, whats suspicious is why was I not told at my last maintenance check that my tires were looking worn? My husband is deployed and I depend on them to tell me when I need something done to my car and they let me down. Also no one explains anything to me, they just tell me sign here, here, and here and you owe $100 have a nice day. They just rush me in and out. I do ask every time too so how did everything look? And every time they tell me everything looked great. But when I ask more questions they always looked at me confused and start scratching their head because they DIDNT EVEN READ THE REPORT OF WHAT WAS DONE! They always run back to the back to ask. So obviously these people are not really checking and are not paying attention. Someone is just checking the boxes and sending you on your way. Also pretty strange that my first oil change that was included for free after purchase was excellent, they sat with me asked how everything was going, explained to me in detail everything that was checked and now every time I go in its nothing like that? They make the process of buying a car so smooth and easy, but good luck with the headache of maintaining your car with the service department! And an oil change takes ALL DAY so be prepared to have a ride when you drop it off. Customer service is awful in person and on the phone, when I call I am transferred a million different times and the call always gets dropped. Also when I bought the extra warranties and policies to insure my tires/rims/windshield it actually turns out it doesnt really cover what was told to me when I bought it.

Michael Winfrey helped us tremendously find a nice family vehicle that worked for us. There was no rush or hassle. Would definitely recommend Richards Honda
