Just had the most unbelievable shopping experience and I know that many people will already believe this is a bogus fake review but it is not I swear - I have read  enough myself on Amazon the same as everybody else. I found an amazing deal online for a Roku Ultra but was unable to complete the purchase over the weekend as I was getting a payment error each time with different credit cards and was afraid someone else would get my deal. I sent an email Monday morning not expecting any response but promptly received a reply from Cody at Pelican Pawn on Sherwood Forest drive in Louisiana who left his number to call and I did. He was on another line with credit card company to fix the problem and said he would call me back and he did. He told me to try again as he had been assured the problem was fixed and sure enough it was. He stayed on the line to make sure I was able too complete the purchase and said if not he would take my information and make good on the sale. The item was shipped the very next day. I was floored that he took the time to help a total stranger in another state as I know he would have no difficulty selling this item at some point and he could have easily blown me off. Cody was a man of his word and this is not at all common in this day and age. If you need to sell or by and there is a local Pelican Pawn or if you live near Sherwood Forest Blvd go see Cody - if not shop online. Your mileage may very but I was impressed.

I am (understandably so) pretty skeptical and wary of Pawn shops. Pelican, however, was really great to work with. These people were friendly, their store was clean, and you can get 10% interest rate per month if you need to borrow over $1,000. They went the extra mile to get me a loan QUICKLY and have very fair and reasonable offers. I would be happy to do business with them again.

Ive been searching a specific bluetooth speaker, and managed to find one here online. The website it was posted on offered pickup only, but after seeing the positive reviews for the store, I decided to give them a call and see if they could ship it. After a very friendly phone call, they changed the listing for me and shipped it no problem! Very happy with the service.
