Really cute place with lots of candy to choose from. Was a bit costly at $16/lb, tho. We gave the littles each a bag and let them pick out whatever they wanted. Totally worth it!

They are well adjusted towards the precautions of the virus. They have nice safety features and candy too. They are as sweet as the candy they serve to their customers. Sure theres a lack of soda but it down my day. If you want to feel safe and have a sweet tooth then I would highly recommend this place to tend to your needs at a fair price.

AUSTIN was very hostile with my wife, AND OMID followed us threw the store while eating candy. My wife was so excited to go, and look for a candy she had as a child. We called NINE TIMES! We made it to the store at 5:35 no one was there and we decided to call the phone in the store to see if it worked and it DID! THEY DIDNT ANSWER THE PHONE WHILE WE CALLED IN THE STORE. So my wife decided to look for her lolli pop and OMID was in the back of the store taking candy out of the draw and eating it. The lolli pop my wife was looking for was not there so I asked Austin if he knows when it would get restocked, he said no and brushed me off. My wife decided to ask for the Manager nameas well as the store number just to see if we called the wrong number, and Austin got definsive and started telling her He wont know either Is it about me? What is it in regards to and The number to the store is on Google. At this point I told Austin to just give her the name. I decided to ask Austin for the number so I can inform the manager of our visit and he told me no. So I told her I its ok Ill inform him one way or another Omid had to hold Austin back to keep him calm to stop him from getting overly aggressive with my wife. We decided that it would be smart to leave at this point.

I bought peanut brittle for my parents for Christmas. Very stale. Dont like the bins where candy is stored. Easy for someone to reach in and steal a piece without notice with grubby fingers and not airtight for freshness. The staff does offer gloves and tongs to customers, but I once was a sneaky little kid with grubby fingers too.

When you say kid in a candy store this is where youre talking about. The staff was nice theres good stock. In the back chocolate room they sell vegan gummies, thats something you find super often theyre pretty good. This trip I ended up buying some rock candy. Boss my friends but a few candy games like Bean boozled and the bean candies from Harry Potter. While my other friend but some candy floss. Honestly it was a lovely experience yeah atmosphere and size very nice and I will be going again.

I have always liked this store. I just wish they had a bigger selection. They did when they first opened at our mall. But I guess its a sign of the times. If the company may not be doing so well , they cut back on the inventory. Do yourself a favor. Go visit Lolli and Pops. Youll probably find a sweet that you like!

Back in 2018, I went with my ex-girlfriend. It was our first time in the store and I forgot that there was utensils to pick the candy up. One employee saw that and he had the worst reaction. The guy was trying to fight me (cursing and everything). Never got his name or anything like that. I told him that I was going to pay for the whole box but he refused, instead he throw it away.

This is usually my go to place each time I visit the mall. I got hooked years ago because one of the workers offered me a free gummy bear. I have always been a gummy bear lover so naturally the great selection of gummy bears in this store gave me reason to come back again and again. I also discovered their all chocolate section which has also been of favorite of mine to visit. I have pretty much sampled just about everything in the store, but this visit was horrible in that I walked out of the store without as much as a candy stick because of the way I was treated at the register. No, the worker was not overly rude but she was just void of expression or consideration when I mentioned that I normally have my punch card (which would suggest that I am a regular) but that today I did not have it. She never took the time to stop ringing up my purchase. Once she completed my purchase, she mentioned that there was now a loyalty program in which you have to register for in order to get points. Thats all she said and pointed to the sign when I expressed my displeasure over having to sign up into a loyalty system after being a faithful customer for years. Im talking every holiday, each visit to the mall, and even when people visit me from out of town, I always take them to this store and it becomes a tradition for them to visit the store and purchase sweets. I even stop in before seeing a movie or after having dinner. My family has a serious sweet tooth!Well this employee basically told me that the money that I spent today would not be counted toward any loyalty points but that on my next visit it would count. Now, I am not a genius on store policy but I know enough to know that any time there is a question about a loyalty program an employee is supposed to have enough information to guide you through the process. After expressing adamantly that I wanted my points she did offer to stop and register me in the system but also said again that my purchase today would not count toward any loyalty points.I asked to speak to a manager because that seemed to be unfair. After all, I was getting ready to drop $15 on two little bags of candy which is overpriced already, but thats the price you pay when you visit a gourmet candy shop. The manager, or the guy that she said was the manager, came over and expressed a little bit more concern and then offered to have another person to come from the back and void the transaction and and re-ring it up so that I could get my points on the loyalty program. I feel this should have been offered in the beginning. I dont understand why they employee did not take the initiative to offer that, but she didnt. The whole time her face was blank. By the time the other person came to void the transaction, I no longer had a desire to repurchase anything. I simply wanted to leave. I do not feel valued as a customer after patronizing this store and spending tons of money over the years. I think the employees need to be educated that each customer deserves to know about the loyalty program. I also got increasingly angry when a person right next to me was offered a loyalty program and offered bonuses for signing up. I think thats unfair and I am severely disappointed with Lolli and Pop and I think youve just lost one of your loyal customers.

Great selection of candies from all over the world. However they are missing some popular brands from Asia. The prices are through the roof though, so you might be able to find most of the stuff cheaper at international stores.Their macaroons are good but again way overpriced. They dont come up to the quality of Sucre in New Orleans yet are more expensive than Sucre. If you are craving macaroons, I would recommend Alexanders market on highland who sell Sucre macaroons for $2 a pop.

My boyfriend and I visit this store every time we are in Baton Rouge and always love it. They have a great selection of candy and sodas but this last trip was one I won’t forget. I was in the store carrying my purse and another shopping bag while walking around the store with my boyfriend when a male employee with stretched ears walked to us and told my boyfriend to be a man and carry my bags. I don’t know if something was wrong with this employee but you just don’t try to demasculinate people like that. I’m not helpless or weak. I can carry my own stuff. Then he continued to say it again when we were checking out. He was a very good employee and gave us lots of tips on what to buy but I felt very insulted and angry after leaving. Please tell your employees to keep their opinions of their customers to themselves.

I usually get 50 dollars worth of gummy for my family each visit and that day all the staff seemed to be busy so i grabed a single gummy to see if they were the same kind i got last time and the short man came out infuriated and called me a child. Great selection of candies; their Japanese candy selection is pretty great! All of the in-house candy is great, too. Everythings pretty expensive, so definitely be prepared to cough up some cash.If youre interested in the scoopable candy, make sure you fill up one of the jars or the small pail (which is most worth it, imo!). Its as much as you can fit (which, with some candies like gummies can be quite a bit!) for a flat price; as opposed to 13$ per pound if you just bag it. You have the option of coming back and refilling for an added fee, as well.Soda selection is small but very versatile; from strange drinks like Bacon Soda from Lesters Fixins to more tame stuff like Ponchatoula Rouge Pop or Japanese Ramune in just about any flavour you can imagine.A great place if youre good at checking prices. While the scoopable candy can be a good deal, some things are severely marked up. The most obvious example that comes to mind is the fact that a single Kinder egg (while a rare commodity in the USA) is 6$. Staff is helpful, friendly, and very sociable and kind.Made my birthday super sweet; thanks, staff of Lolli & Pops!
