Morningside Coffee House is AMAZING! Great atmosphere and warm welcome. The Chai Tea is awesome too. Wish I could visit here daily but not from the area, we were here for a wedding and looked up coffee house on Google. We need this place in Kansas City with me!

Nice atmosphere. I chose to have my coffee and cake on the porch. The coffee was very good. The coffee cake was slightly stale but had an excellent flavor. The service was very good. I particularly liked that there are two separate rooms and a nice porch to choose from for seating, allowing for semiprivate groupings.

Morningside has the best coffee ever. I love going there, the atmosphere is very nice, such a pretty shop. The nicest staff ever! Everyone is always so friendly .

Morningside has tasty coffee, tasty sandwiches, and fast staff. Its your basic coffee shop, a nice, quiet spot to drink coffee. I do wish they would occasionally mix things up and advertise inventive drinks and food. Their claim to fame is their Morningside Mocha, a white chocolate mocha. Tasty, but in no way unique. No complaints though. Its definitely a safe pick for a good cuppa.

God bless the staff! They are incredibly considerate, and patient. Their menu stays up to date with all sorts of new specialty coffee flavors. They also cater!

Cute little coffee shop. My husband & I went in for a quick date... they used great value half & half in the coffees... ???? They should change that- coffeehouses are SUPPOSED to use higher quality products! NIce staff though!

OMG; The beverage list was thorough, and food items plentiful. The recipes obviously includes such items as experience, wisdom, and love of life! There is no reason why this place shouldn’t be bigger or open another one. Good show olde bean, good SHOW!

Recently ordered a cake from here, a week in advance. Not only was this the most unattractive cake that I have ever seen in my life, it was COMPLETELY wrong. I was told that they werent sure what I wanted, so they guessed, however no one called to ask me anything. It had some kind of watery, obviously frozen strawberries (in their own water) poured out into the center in lieu of fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate. To add insult to injury, they tried to charge me for the cream frosting that was added without my having requested it which resulted in a higher priced cake. They conceded and gave me a 10% discount which basically put it back to the original price quoted to me. I picked it up at lunch and by the time I got home, after apologizing to my children for the condition of their highly anticipated birthday cake, it seems that it picked up a moldy taste, probably from sitting in that (strawberry) water all day. I had to throw it away without the first piece being eaten. I should have not paid and just walked out with no cake, because that is what my daughters got anyway. If I can find a way to post a picture of this cake, I will do that to warn you of what you might possibly get from Morningside.

My favorite little coffee house. They have great coffee, great snacks, and great staff that keep me coming back. Great atmosphere too and its a relaxing place to kick back on lunch break or study a bit.

Coffee is ok, I had to wait at the window for about 15 minutes before I could order, then it took about another 15 minutes to get my coffee which was so bad by the time I got to where I was headed I just poured it out. Pinto is still my favorite in this area, wish they were open on Mondays..
