They did a fantastic job from the initial consultation to the touch up paint at the end. Plus, Mike Schmidt is our old neighbor and he’s a fantastic, trustworthy guy.

Mike and his crew were very professional. I knew what I was getting every step of the way and Mike took great care to make sure everything was correct for when the windows arrived. The crew left the site better than they found it. The windows are a vast improvement over the 30 year old windows they replaced. I am very happy with Schmidt Exteriors and will use them again.

Mike, and his team were incredible to work with. As previously mentioned in other reviews...NO BS, a hand shake, sign the contract and the work gets done. Good, honest people to work with. Set my expectations that it would be a couple of months before he could get to me, and that is what happened. When they came installed new window and LP smart siding. House looks incredible. Would hire him again in a second if I needed anything else done. Price was very reasonable, and work was the best!

Front Door Replacements--Had both my front door and screen door replaced by Schmidt. Workers came on time, were professional, never took a break and continually communicated with me what they were doing each step of the way. It was a great experience working with this company. The only one who agreed to deal with me only, and not both owners as I experienced previously when I was looking for a contractor for an other project. Great people on site to replace a huge bay window/door in my family room. Very professional. I would definitly hire them again next year for an other project.

Working with Schmidt Exteriors was a great experience. From the planning stage to completion. Mike from the beginning gave us ideas to use in our siding project set everything up from the material and dumpster delivery . Mike’ s workers never cut corners or time if they ran into a snag they would consult with me and gave me options to to complete the job . Mike would come by almost everyday to check to see how the job was going and if I had any concerns . What a great collaboration it was ! It was a big job all the old wood siding had to come off , foam insulation and new LP Smart siding , facia , soffit and gutters went on . I have not used them personally but heard great things about the quality of their work. Even more I am touched and impressed about how the owner has been treating his employees during these tough times. Finally life offered an opening to do something about it and I called Mike Schmidt.Mike spent well over an hour of consultation, explanation and, education on my best options.He answered my questions honestlyand clearly and gave me a fair price. We used Schmidt a few years ago to replace all our windows and exterior doors (Front door and slider in back). We were very pleased with both the product provided and the work done by Schmidt. They completed the window replacement in one day. Mike did a great job of showing us the products available. We were also very pleased with the follow up service provided after the windows and doors had been installed - Schmidt has been very responsive to all requests for adjustments. We will useSchmidt for any future exterior work we need.

We used them for our Home. They did complete insulation of our attic, including above and beyond the call of duty. We are extremely impressed. So far our home is cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. They repaired wood on our outside of home as well. They were friendly, extremely kind, very clean. I would recommend them as the place to go, and well worth the money

Mike Schmidt is an incredibly professional businessman, who provides quality service, incredible work and a great product, in whatever range you need. We had received an astronomical quote from a national remodel chain, and when Mike came by, he took a look at our windows, and asked what I wanted. I told him a good, middle of the road vinyl window with vinyl welded corners. He told me right there the estimated price, he wrote up the estimate, gave a down payment, and he had them installed within weeks. No BS sales pitch, all on his good name, and a hand shake. THIS is how business should be done. As Mike said, and I paraphrase I have been doing this for 20+ years, and my name is on the business. I cant afford to do a bad job.

Several years ago I had my windows replaced by Schmidt exteriors. They did a tremendous job, done in one day, cleaned up everything. Then last year, after my warranty was up, we had an issue with a window. They came out and repaired it for no charge. Great service!!!

We used Schmidt Exteriors last summer during our first floor renovation. We had our house resided, 10 Pella windows, and a Pella sliding door installed. Mike was great to work with from the start. He was straight forward, gave great suggestions, and came back with a competitive price. Even though we had some issues along the way (siding company delivered wrong color siding). Mike jumped in and got it corrected quickly without hassle. He also had his guys fix a window opening that was placed in the wrong spot by our contractor. I think that was the best part of working with Mike and Schmidt Exteriors, they were a down to earth company that didnt try and take advantage of little issues that came up during the job. If there was a fixable problem that wasnt going to break the bank, Mike would have his guys fix it because it was the right thing to do. If you want a honest company to work with, I would highly recommend Schmidt Exteriors for any siding or window projects.
