Great store. Helpful employees. I much prefer Menards to other big-box home improvement stores. I also do not like the 11% rebates you have to mail in... wish corporate would come up with another approach.

The store is fine and associates are helpful. My complaint is with the rebate scam that Menards offers. It is a simple tactic, they advertise their price after the rebate, but the rebate process is very tedious. You have to fill out the rebate form and mail it to the rebate center, and only one at a time. By the time you consider the cost of mailing (envelope and stamp) and time to fill it out and mail, I usually dont bother unless it is greater than $20. So keep in mind, the advertised price is not the real price your likely paying as most will probably never send in most rebates, so compare the before rebate price. They should at least go to online submission through a Menards account for ease and more environmentally friendly

Asked for assistance to find something I needed . Menards worker basically said its over there if you dont find it we dont have it . He made no effort to even look ? Went Lowes and was attended to right away found what I needed quickly and they had what Menards wouldnt even look for ? Great Job LOWES !!

The stores is fine. The employees are fine. The rebate scam has got to change or go. I never receive my rebates when they’re for a large amount. No way to track them. If you do hear back from the ‘rebates international team’ it’s too late and they don’t know anything but are very busy processing rebates but not yours. Please menards. You’re telling me in 2020 you can’t come up with a electronic way to track these accurately??

After having good dealing with people in lighting and gardening I had to go to lumber. Found most of what I needed by myself but I needed assistance and information. I saw several people doing absolutely nothing in the contractor area. One, who was on the phone actually walked away from me before hanging up so he wouldnt have to work. I am sick and tired of the poor customer service at this store in this area. The one person who would speak to me told me they could do what I needed, but there was no they willing to do so. To top it off, the one item I could just buy without assistance, they no longer carry.

This is the best 1 stop shop for any homeowner. They have everything you need for your home including a small grocery area with milk and eggs. Additionally, the staff is super helpful and beyond friendly.

Unfortunately for me one of menards employees put a product in the wrong spot and put a sale price on this product .I purchased this product and was charge full price .I brought this product back to get a refund and the red sale tad was gone and the manager Ispoke too would not honor my story for the sale price it wasnt worth my time and gas trying to get my money back .

Menards is always good, only needed salt and propane. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Brought my kids, forgot that with COVID-19, no one under 16 allowed. Not Menards fault but we had to shop in waves, and honestly spent less money.

An employee at the Batavia Menards store was extremely helpful in doing everything he could to assist me to successfully complete a phone order without coming into the store. He assisted me in making the purchase via phone and loading it into my car. My husband and I are self-isolating due to our age and our health concerns connected with the pandemic. Kudos to Menards for their kindness, understanding, and compassion!

Menards always has great customer service at their Batavia location. Whenever Ive had to pick things up in the yard, they have always been more than helpful in loading the items into my vehicle.

Very helpful today they did not have all the doors I needed at the Yorkville store. The manager was very helpful he tracked them down at another store. When I arrive at second store they were waiting for me on a cart.

I was very disappointed in the sales staff due to lack of knowledge. When speaking to a staff member his supervisor came over and interrupted the sale to to discuss his work for the shift. We were going to buy a door but sales could not show how to change from glass to screen and back. I asked price for an install but that was not available. Very poor performance.

Its another big box store that killed the small mom n pop stores. Other than that, its just like every other Menards.

Found a hose reel I really needed , the shelf had a tag of 24.99 on it. Unfortunately it rang up 59.99. I didnt make a fuss but was not happy that the tag was in the wrong place. I work retail, if its tagged wrong we honor it. Menards just waved it off. Planned on laying a brick patio and purchasing it from Menards.. rethinking that.

I do love THIS Menards! So many special finds. The staff has always been helpful. They promote courtesy in every department. BIG ups to Leo, and the lady of the shipping department. I believe MORE staff in needed though, lots of people are shopping. And we need the personal touch in every other isle.

Terrible service from the delivery department. They forgot the charge it then I get a call from Paulette who was rude and try to say it was my fault they forgot to ring ring it up. I asked to speak to a store manager and was told they were all busy and no one was available. Store service is good but be aware of untrained and and rude delivery department.

The store should be called Rebates instead. Seriously, how annoying are the constant rebates? This place is great for when Home Depot doesnt have what you need in stock and you feel a craving to fill out some paperwork. That is as long as you are fine with some kinda off brand stuff

Love Menards! They have whatever I need. Competitive prices, frequent sales, great rebates. If I have a question, they know the answer. If I cant find it, they walk me to it. If I need to return it, its simple and friendly.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff members, clean store, clean bathrooms, but above all I love their selection. Theres even a kiosk available to customers to print lost receipts. Ive made use of it twice and love the convenience of it.

Good selection of home improvement goods at a low cost. Bathrooms could use a remodel but are fairly clean. Convenient location and ample parking.

I love that they had samples of their wood products inside, labeled and all on one area. This way you can compare multiple types of wood side by side in one look. This was helpful when trying to decide what type of wood I wanted for a deck.

Always seem to have what i am looking for. Would have given 5 stars but this store consistently has a lack of help on the floor. Our local HD store is much better!

Staff was really nice and approchable. Every time Ive gone there and needed help I was able to find staff that helped within a few minutes.

Menards has always been my go to store for home improvement and gardening. I bought special order tile from them for a bathroom remodel. There was 2 different sizes. One size I received was the wrong tile. My installer didnt realize it and installed it. Menards refused to refund anything, even though I received the wrong tile. They just lost a customer. I will be going to Home Depot or Ace from now on.

Went in early this morning-Needed some cleaning supplies and degreaser~ Had a lot of questions. I was instantaneous met with a friendly face; Even though I was interrupting his stocking- he went out of his way to make sure I had the best products at efficient costs.When he couldnt answer all of my questions- he showed me to the paint department where I was met with another super polite and helpful staff member.I dont remember their names~ but I hope if they read this- they know who they are. Ive never had a greater customer experience than at this Menards. Thank you so very much!

Went in to Menards to pick up a couple of items that I couldnt find at HD. I went down a couple Isles but could not find what I was looking for.I spoke to a young man who literally walked me down the aisles to each item on my list and helped me with my selection.I appreciated the fact that I didnt have to look all over the store and that young man assistant me and made my purchasing experience awesome.
