Absolutely the worst service in the area. Make sure you go to a different car repair for a second opinion. This service will charge you for any kind of unnecessary repair. DO NOT pay for something that does not need to be done. They take advantage of your limited car repair knowledge, and charge you for services that do not need to be done.

I very rarely write reviews but I must for the service I received from Advanced. They had serviced my riding mower a couple of times and I had good service but this time was way above and beyond. It started at the pickup. First of all it is very nice that a pickup service is offered because I do not have a trailer. My mower is a 48 zero turn and I have a sloping down yard to the back of my house. There was no way I could push it up the slope. When I asked if they could get it up the incline the nice lady on the phone (sorry I didnt catch her name) suggested they send a towing unit similar to the size of my riding mower. I was going to have a friend come over, drive the car onto the incline and use towing ropes to get it up the hill. Even I realized that whatever the cost was going to be Im sure it was worth it.After Advanced looked at the mower they determined that a chain reaction in the engine caused multiple things to fail and needed extensive repair or replacement. Rather than sell me on an extensive repair, Tony suggested that it would probably be about the same price for me to replace the engine. He also gave me his honest opinion of replacing the engine versus buying a new mower. This was a very difficult decision for us so I needed some time to think it over. Tony kept on to the mower while I took over a week to get back to him. He was completely understanding and didnt complain about hanging on to it at all. We did decide to get a new mower so I called to let them know, pay the bill and schedule the drop off of the old mower.I was shocked that the bill to pick up the mower, tow it uphill from the backyard, diagnose the problems, price out an engine replacement, discuss options for repair or replacement and return it to me afterward was less than $100. Not at any point did I feel like they were trying to sell me something. From each step of the way all I got was pure honesty from someone who understood my point of view. We plan to be in Batavia for a while and are happy to have a place to service our mowers. Thank you Tony. Thank you Advanced.

Advanced Automotive is always professional, honors their appointment times, and explains everything they do. I brought my Tahoe in for an oil change and to have the air and cabin filters changed. My wife has MS, several severe allergies and combined with the Covid 19 exposure, I do everything I can to protect her from anything which could adversely affect her health. When I paid my invoice, staff told me I did not need to replace either of the filters. This saved me approximately $70.00. They could have replaced one or both of these filters and I would never have known they didnt need replacing. A few months ago, they also cleaned up four tire rims for me with no charge. You can be sure I will be continuing to bring my vehicles here for all my auto related business. I highly recommend them to anyone needing auto services. I originally began using them because they take good care of my former wifes SUV, and she highly recommended them to me after I moved back to the Batavia area.

Excellent experience here! Took lawn mower in for an estimate and while I didnt get it fixed (just needed a new one) they were efficient and easy to work with. Will return for any future needs.

I will never go anywhere else! Extremely knowledgeable and honest. Not your typical car repair experience. I left my Jeep dealer that I usually see for my repairs after being charged $85 when all they did was drive my car and say they think its the transmission and would need several days to disassemble the entire thing to be able to say for sure. I tried Advanced Automotive from a referral saying this was a honest shop with great mechanics. They were right, not only did I not need to have any work done as of yet ,they thoroughly explained everything and assured me that the car is safe to drive....best part I was not charged. I brought in a relatively small emergency generator for repair. The job was done well, quickly and for a fair price. They returned it in great shape with Stabil in the gas tank to keep the gas fresh. People were excellent to work with.

But I also bought a used engine to put onto a snowblower that I planned to give my son. Twice Tony gave up some of his time to look a the belt I had put on. Second the pull rope broke. Advanced Automotive serviced my lawn mower last week. I dropped it off on Tuesday and it was ready by Friday, way quicker than the time they quoted. They even power washed the mower. I used it this week and it started up on the first pull and ran great. I also liked that they emailed my updates instead of calling. We will go back again for servicing next year.

I took my lawn mower in to get fixed. They called me the next day explained what was wrong and told me it would be a couple of days and that they will call when it was ready. One week later I called and asked what the status was and they said that it was ready and they emailed me that it was ready. I had no email from them in my in box or my spam. Then I went to pick it up waited about 15 minutes and they told me they couldnt find it and that they would call when they did and drop it off. I called about 4 hours later and they said yes they found it but did not know when they could drop it off so I had to go back and pick it up.

Very good service, vehicle was ready when promised, saw the parts that were removed, no surprise repairs needed, paid what was quoted. Will definitely be using them again
