Pharmacy steals your insulin and claimS it was picked up days/weeks before insurance would approve. Beware any in need of life sustaining medication.

They Never answer phones here so if you have a question or would like a prescription refilled, you better plan on showing up in person and waiting. Oh, if you have an appointment for covid vaccinations or need testing, they will probably make you wait half and hour past your appointment time before seeing you.Update: went here a week later for covid test and was told after waiting 25 minutes that I was in the wrong lane. A sign would be nice to let me know. My appointment was at 1 and I didn’t leave until 2 after waiting in the drive through. I arrived at 12:45 🤬

No phone calls are EVER answered! With all these bad reviews all your apologies are useless. Pharmisist changed all my 90 day prescriptions to 30 day and when I mentioned it he said Just come back. Like thats a real joy. Im disabled so I use drive thru. 30 to 35 minutes. Each car average 10 min. And get stuck behind a COVID test!!! They are a pharmacy not a doctors office. I guess i will be transferring to Walmart. I never see anyone in there two drive through windows.Right now I havent had two of my medications for 3 days because they are such a mess over there.Bye bye rite aid.

Customer service is absolute garbage. Called 10 times, nobody would answer the phone, and Ive waited in line for up to 45 minutes in the drive through. HORRIBLE.

On hold for over 30 minutes to call in a prescription. Unacceptable. If you think youre going to leave someone on hold for more than 5 minutes, let that person know so they can call back and not waste 30 minutes of time that could be devoted to seeing other patients rather than setting you back for the day. Terrible prescriber interaction with this place.

I have been getting my meds refilled at this pharmacy for several months now. The same medications Ive been on for 6 years. On one of my recent trips to the pharmacy, everything went quick. Ive been in the habit of checking my meds before I leave the pharmacy. During this particular habitual check, I found that they had given me the wrong medication. I quickly informed them of their error, in hopes of just getting my correct meds and being on my way. After a quick look of panic and horror, they fixed the problem and quickly sent me on my way. I could see them in the back shaking their heads and laughing like it was no big deal.The next time I was on my way to get my meds, I had called ahead to verify they were ready. (I had also called the night before and was told they were ready) The pharmacist I spoke with was extremely rude and told me that one of my medications couldnt be filled unless I also picked up a prescription for Narcan. I have NEVER had to do this before ANYWHERE in the country. Yet after THEY messed up MY prescription, Im penalized with having to spend another $90 on something my doctor hadnt prescribed me.Long story long, they messed up and somehow tried to make me feel like I was in the wrong. Great job trying to cover your @$$!

Left after 2 hours of waiting for my covid shot. Ive went to the one in Victorville, 20 min in and out. Pharmacy blows here. Go anywhere else. Walmart pharmacy is better. Never thought I would say that but here we are 2021.AugAvg wait time for prescription drive thru 25 min per car. Thats barstow rite aid.

On average lately the wait time for prescriptions has been 45 minutes. They never have more than one teller at the prescription counter. Today a lady that was in discomfort from the wait complained and the teller said sarcastically that she could always go somewhere else. I also noticed that there was food on the floor at the prescription counter. Even the ice cream has been stale tasting lately. I have been going to Rite Aid for around twenty years, tomorrow I will start the process to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

Cashier was so rude not the first time hes been so rude. He is the reason I stopped coming to rite aid. I got some items on clearance and an item didnt scan on clearance, he was so rude and loud about it, so I took a picture of the item on the clearance shelf and showed it to him and he said someone must have put that tag there cuz its not on clearance, everything on that shelf was, he didnt have to be so loud and rude and put people on blast like that. I wasnt being rude the guys name is Mark

After waiting in Lane 2 for over half an hour I got to the box only to be told the Covid Test appts are only for Lane 1. When asked how I’m supposed to know or why is there no signage to let me know before waiting in lane 2 the teller replied “sorry”Notify people or let them be available in both lanes. Also, do better on your wait times, it’s a drive thru. I arrived for my 6:15 appt at 6:05 and didn’t leave until 6:47.

The pharmacy takes forever whether you are inside the store or at the drive thru. The drive thru seems to be more of a joke. Waited 15 minutes for the car in front of me to drive away and Ive had to wait an additional 30-40 minutes just to get the prescriptions I was picking up. . Its not something to use when youre in a rush. Theres no communication between the employees and I cant understand why it takes so long for something that should have been ready.

Today April 11th 2021 I hope she gets a disciplinary hearing since its not the first time.Performances by the name of Mary its very unprofessional very rude and gets very, very agitated with customers when they repeat themselves more than once. I suffer from a concussion so I happened to repeat myself more than once in different ways Mary was getting very rude and agitated I could hear her in her voice she was getting louder and with an attitude it seemed like. She didnt even bother to recheck my prescription because it happened before. She just said its not here with an attitude.

The pharmacy here is ridiculously slow. The drive through is consistently busy with at least 15 - 20 minutes per vehicle at the window, not to mention there are usually 7 or more cars in line...and backed up into the road or wrapped around the building so traffic in and out of the parking lot doesnt flow.

Warning I went into this pharmacy to get my prescription filled and the attendant Marcus was so rude. I am looking into switching pharmacies

Why do they have to speak very loudly for everyone else to hear? There was a long line and with every person, the man repeated name/bday even prescriptions loud enough for the whole line to hear. Its rude. Long waits to pick up.

I wish I read the reviews before driving across state lines to fill a Rx. I am staying in my Las Vegas home for COVID19 while my Rx refill needed to be filled in CA. Barstow Rite Aid is the closest and after 3 hours drive, they said they are out. I ask if they can check call the Victorville location 40 miles away - nope, go there and find out yourself, not our problem!I suspect they weren’t out and just playing doctor. Completely rude and unhelpful. Playing with patients health like they have a god complex. I’ll file a report with the CA Board of Pharmacy, look at all the negative reviews, now I’m a statistic like those before me.

I have been frequenting ride aid for over 2yrs. In that time I only had one problem with one of the pharmacist. Otherwise staff is courteous,helpful,and polite. Store is clean,well stocked,and sale item are easily displayed.

I phoned in a prescription over a week ago. Went to pick up on a Sunday only to be told the prescription wasn’t filled & the pharmacist had just gone to lunch. If they had tried calling me I wouldn’t have driven over 35 miles out of my way to pick it up. Every single time I go to this location there is a problem or a delay. Wait times are always 25 minutes or longer at this pharmacy. Getting a new pharmacy ASAP.

I have always had great service. And Nadia has always been great about everything. She always asks how I am doing and is considerate. She makes sure I have all my prescriptions thats I need filled. Thanks Nadia your the bestest

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever been too!! They honestly do not care about the customer and how important it is to have medications stocked, ever time I had to fill my daughters prescription (it was on a monthly refill!) they never had it in time to fill it and always said it had to be ordered and my daughter would have to go days without her medication , but then they said we were not allowed to call it in early as to compensate for their lack of ability , so I had to find a new pharmacy last minute to get her medication, thank goodness Teplow drugs was able to get her the medication in time! Will never go to rite aid again!!

We can not shop here because we can not take the carts out of the store! Why you add so much to buy but NO WAY to get it to the car is really stupid. Never saw such a thing in my entire life that you can not take your cart to your car! I also have a bad back problem so there is no way we can support you and shop here sorry. I cant be carrying things to my car.

Best pharmacy in Barstow. Nidia is the nicest, warmest, most helpful. I would never want to go to other pharmacy. The pharmacist have called my work comp insurance and advocated for me while I was sitting there.

Worst drive through pharmacy by far. Not any faster than going into the store. Tech at the window was rude and lazy and overcharged me because she didn’t want to bother to run a discount card. I love rite aid for everything else but they need to figure out their pharmacy.*update! Same girl (reaann) working the drive through and 10 months later. Tell me the meds arnt even called in, and I let her know the name of the person I’ve already talked to who said they are called in AND ready. If she has to get up to help you she will just play it off that your stuff isn’t ready.

Whoever said anything good about this phamacy is a god damn lie i just moved out here 2 months ago had to of my daughter medication tranfer here the next month they told me u have to get ur kids med tranfer once a month like really never had nothing in stock then they telling me u cant get ur meds 2 or 3 days early like by Becky with the good hair

The staff has always been kind and helpful. Im bothered that some people are posting one stars because of one bad experience. People make mistakes and the customer is not always right even though the workers have to act like they are. Thank you for being a clean and handy store! Grateful for the pharmacy and the THRIFTY ice cream. Thank you for not being Walmart.

Nadia is always helpful. I have filled the same prescription for over 4 years. Every 3rd month its horrible. I have now been waiting for a week with no refill yet and are OUT. Excuse after excuse. They need to get their heads out of their butts

NIDIA IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST! needs to be fired immediately. i have worked in a customer service for over 10 year and that is not way to treat people. she is sooo unprofessional and just plain rude they need to do something about her ASAP. she holds prescriptions hostage and never even bothers to call the doctor for a thing always saying she is too busy to call... Their pharmacy staff is rude and and incompetent. I was quoted my price for medication after my insurance expired and magically when they refilled it, the price was nearly double what the told me. Worst pharmacy ever. The front cashiers are not much better. They never had my refill ready and when I would call to see if.it was ready they always told me they had no prescriptions for me.

Prefer coming to the pharmacy here.

I have been going there for years but due to this last experience I will never go there again and neither should you. They over billed my insurance and I did not receive the medicine they billing my insurance for. when I went to them regarding the issue the store supervisor was happy to help however the pharmacy staff was extremely rude and even cocky about there mistake they are messing with people medicines and lives to have such heartless people with no concern for there patients is vey concerning. I will be switching pharmacies and never going back I receive at least 30 rx from them monthly due to my failing health they took advantage of a sick woman and have no remorse they should pick another industry that has nothing to deal with medicine they have no idea what they are doing

The only reason I give this Rite Aid parmacy 3 stars is because it has the cheapest prices and the best hours of opperation. For service I would say 2 stars. For the most part, the staff is friendly, but half of the time, they seem unprofessional, dont seem to really know what they are doing, and take forever to get anything done. Once all of my refills are up, I wont be taking any more prescriptions to this pharmacy. I will go back to Vons; even though they are more expencive, they are always friendly and knowledgeable, are much quicker even though their pharmacy staff is half the size of Rite Aids, and there is never an issue with getting any type of medication filled.

Asked them to fill my 95 yr old fathers new prescription, 3 TIMES, in 3 weeks:Person at counter, Nadia,... said,it was $84.00.I asked Nadia to call dr.s office, change it to a lower price drug.She agreed/said she w do it.A diff person said a week later, it was $184.00.Nadia, then when I pointed out the discrepancy, blew up at me & my father/yelled at me, sayin no one had to help us (despite my pointing out, that people had already agreed to do so).The Pharmacist, THEN said hours later, on Sat, before 4th of July,..it was nearly $300.00, & we had NO insurance.So, I called a CVS Pharmacy,..told everything ok, & that our co pay was only $40.00 plus dollars.Finally, AGIN,...Nadia,..BLEW HER TOP, at me, for calling her back/asking what was going on!She finally figerued out, that Rite Aid had INCORRECT insurance info on my Dad (which SHW took DOWN!!),..& said $ 40.00 on each med,..if dr. agreed to change eye drops!They did not.But,.Nadia should be FIRED!

Worst pharmacy in the world I’m a military veteran been to multiple rite aid around the world for my prescriptions, but the pharmacist employees doesn’t show common courtesy and not willing to help to get pointed in the right direction for my needs .. by far the worst place I’ve ever been in California
