The guy who helped me was stellar, way above & beyond. I went to buy radiator flush, was nervous, having never flushed a radiator, but I dont think it showed. He asked if I was certain the radiator needed flushing, & what kind of car. It turned out he only buys Toyotas, which is what I drive, and the store was quiet, so he came out & had a look, told me I didnt need radiator flushed, determined that when oil was last changed the reset wasnt done, that was the reason the idiot light was on, and proceeded to do the reset for me! Absolute RAVE about this employee of Auto Zone.

Julio was very helpful in suggesting a new battery for my broken down Corolla. Helped us determine that my alternator also in need of replacement and recommended the auto-shop across the parking lot for the alternator replacement. Thank you so much, Julio, for helping us get back on the road!

Franz C. Was SO kind, helpful, patient and explained everything to me thoroughly! He stood in the blazing heat with zero complaints, switched my bad battery out and put a new one in, ensured that my vehicle started successfully and that my AC was on before I left! Highly recommend!!

If your gonna work at a parts place male or female you should know about the parts an how they work. Have a little knowledge of auto parts. Anybody can work a computer. Maybe its poor management just saying. I worked in parts stores an had to use a book. Lets try that again. 🤷‍♂️🤫🤪

Right the first time. I walked in with an oddball core for my Ford 250, theres 8 configurations for that truck, and the guy at the counter (I checked the receipt and his names not on there or I would call him out for his awesomeness) looked it over, punched up the inventory and had the right part right away. We were out the door in 10 minutes. The price on this oddball alternator was really good too. 100% win.

There are some good guys there but alot of ur employees say they dont have a product and try to sell u something more expensive!! I just experienced that less than an hour ago and said, yeah okay, then went down the Isle and found the product he said he didnt have and showed him it does work for metal plastic and RUBBER!!!

I broke down on memorial Day up on Bailey road in the 15 they were the only one who answered the phone when I called needed to find out if they had a part not that they would have a radiator for a 1997 Ford F350 crew cab diesel 7.3 powerstroke on hand. But it was quickly ordered and was there by Wednesday. Unfortunately my work did not allow me to get back until Saturday it was there all the staff was very courteous and very task orientated and attentive customers I did stop at two competitors to check on something else and they were not as well good job Barstow AutoZone keep living the dream...

Impressive/Awesome/Amazing Customer ServiceYesterday I called Auto Zone & another local auto parts store to ascertain if I purchased new wiper blades would they be willing to put them on my vehicle.A lady answered at the other store & hesitated to answer my question — then her response was I guess so.I called Auto Zone & a young man answered my question —he enthusiastically & quickly said yes — no problem.I went today & was assisted by Victor. I am mechanically challenged & he made me feel very comfortable assisting me in my purchase.He immediately went outside & placed the new wipers on my Bride’s vehicle.Approximately ten minutes later I returned with my vehicle — he saw me exiting my vehicle & quickly walked over to me. Again, he changed my wipers.Victor’s friendly & professional demeanor made me feel like I was part of his family.Because of Victor Auto Zone has our business forever.Thank You & God Bless & Stay Safe

Usually I have a great experience with the company but something is clearly wrong with the Barstow branch especially the employee Steve Im pretty sure he is high or something..he has in the past lost parts forgot to order them put the wrong number and name in the system repeatedly and today was quite possibly the rudest Ive had to deal with without getting really mad...again Im pretty sure hes high on something because he doesnt know an alternator from his a$& !!!!

Made everyone stand outside the front door waiting for a long time. The temp was 106 no shade. Most left after 20 min. I left after 30 min and went to ORileys a block down. The sign on the door was misleading about covid. There was NO concern for their customers well being. I was not going to review this business but to this date I have still not received any response including a call back from the store manager or customer svc. I needed 4 AGM batteries for my truck so it was a good size sale for them. Needless to say they will be my last resort for future business

Great store but today i bought a set of double Platinum spark plugs got home to install them and they are not double Platinum or even single platinum. Looks like someone bought them and returned stock plugs. Woops hope i get my money back.

Id like to give a shout out to a Employee at this LOCATION Barstow named MATHEW, I called for a radiator & cap & he gave me soo much details on wut type of coolants I cud get & there warranty & a shops warranty & how much it wud cost me out the door for there parts & that I shud always make sure to ask a shop there warranty nd there breakdown on wut they are charging me for! I am a female so for him to break down everything to me over the phone was soo very helpful of him. he was very polite & considerate of my situation & helped me see different Scenarios on the situation I appreciated his concerns & advice so much it helped me alot!! great employee we need more Honest people like this to help us females out here bcuz we dont know as much as males so thank you Matthew very much 5 star bcuz of this 1 great employee!!👍👍👍

Most of the customer service is great. AutoZone as a whole has the best system for rewarding frequent shoppers above and beyond any other parts and tools chain. Their tools? Usually awesome or at least good.

My bf & I went in around 8:30pm & Had a large order for a tune up for are Rv & Hyundai Richard was very helpful & Patient & Kept are Rv & Hyundai tune up purchases separate so we wouldnt be confused on which products went w/which vehicle! He also wrote directly on the Spark Plug boxes the Gap size for each! Thank You Richard for taking good care of us!

Unfortunately the worker was nice but he sold me something that was no good. It was missing pieces. A $ 17.00 spark plug remover should have the rubber piece in it so you dont crack the porcelain on the plug. I took it back but it slowed me down. I needed that tool but oh well...

Definitely depends on who is at the counter, unfortunately thats how it is anywhere if you are working on your car youd do good to have the old part with you

Battery died within warranty period. Kept the receipt in the glove box and this location honored it. I was in and out within thirty minutes.

I gave 1 star only because I could not give -0. These people not only lack in experience,but completely fail at customer service! The guy with the he bow tie should be fired. Im going to give a call to corporate because there treatment of paying customers is deplorable! I just like many many others in this town will be taking my business elsewhere.
