My daughter not only found one dress, but she got 2 dresses!I was a little nervous coming into the store, being they are a high-end store. Usually they have the reputation of being judgmental and snooty. However, that is not the case at Gilded Rose! The woman at the front desk was very warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The store might look a little deceiving right when you walk in, but it is actually very spacious. Their front store has a wide selection of evening wear and mother of the wedding gowns/bridesmaids. As you head to the bridal area, you are instantly blown away by their bridal gown collections and decor! My daughter and her entourage had their own private suite, where she could dress privately before giving us the grand reveal. The consultants are very attentive, patient and not pushy. We haven’t met any consultants who are as nice as they are! We enjoyed our time there so much, that I made an appointment to come back for my MOB dress!Do not judge a book by its cover! I highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed!

Gilded Rose is the best!! I went to 4 different bridal shops in the Chicago land area and this by far was my favorite place. And where I ended up saying yes to the dress! They had such an amazing selection of really beautiful, cool dresses in a bunch of different styles, vibes, and price points that I think any type of bride would be able to find something she likes here. It wasnt stuffy like some other places I went to. The store is well lit and quiet. They let me and my guests look around the store but my consultant, Michelle, also picked up on what my style was and picked out a couple dresses she thought I would like. The dresses she picked were ones that I wouldnt have thought to try on, but they ended up being my favorites and the one I ultimately chose! I liked that Michelle and the owner, Lulu, would pick up on my body language and could tell when I was self conscious or when I really felt great in a dress. They never pressured me to commit to a dress or to go beyond my price point. The dress I ended up getting was actually way below my price point! Everyone was just really sweet and friendly. Overall, it was such a lovely wedding dress experience and lots of happy tears were shed here!

My experience shopping at Gilded Rose Atelier was perfect!! I found the shop when looking for dresses by Karen Willis Holmes and was delighted that they had so many of her styles. The actual appointment was so nice - I never felt rushed, we were the only ones there, and Michelle was so lovely to work with. I ended up wanting to see about a KWH dress they didn’t have, and they were able to order it for me to try on in the shop - and it turned out to be THE ONE! I’m so grateful for the excellent customer service. This bridal shop is a gem and I would highly recommend to any bride!PS they also have the cutest store dog, Benji - an added bonus to the experience!

Lulu is AMAZING! My daughter decided 3 days before her wedding that she needed a reception dress for dancing because her wedding dress was very full and heavy. We took a chance and stopped by Guilded Rose without an appointment and with a very tallOrder, a dress, in her size that she could buy on the spot and that wouldn’t be too difficult to alter. Without batting an eye, Lulu calmly led us to the dressing area and starting showing her dresses. She pulled 3 stunning dresses that fit the bill and the only difficult part was deciding which one to buy! She even pointed us on the direction of a few seamstresses that could get the dress altered quickly. The selection of dresses was amazing, beautiful couture gowns at very reasonable prices. Lulu is kind, knows her inventory and is able to quickly zero in on what you are looking for! Thank you Lulu, you have no idea how happy she is to have a beautiful second dress to dance the night away in, with three short days until the wedding!

Guilded Rose provided the absolute dream wedding dress shopping experience! Michelle was so kind, patient, and accommodating. She gave my mom and I plenty of time to talk things over and took our feedback that eventually landed me in my dream dress! I was at Gilded Rose with my niece, Stephanie, a couple of Sundays ago to search for her wedding dress. What a great experience! The perfect wedding dress experience! Beautiful selection of dresses and a sparkling, but cozy space. The staff listened carefully to what I wanted but also made suggestions that fit my overall vision. I felt so special and never felt pressured to make my choice right away... but I did! My sister also made an impromptu choice of her bridesmaid gown and her own bridal veil at the same appointment! Can’t wait to come back to pick up my dress.

Had an amazing time at Gilded Rose Atelier! They have such nice brands but are within any brides budget. I am a very indecisive person and was worried I wouldnt be able to find something in my first bridal appt but it only took about 5 dresses before I found my perfect dress! The ladies at Gilded were extremely accommodating and made the entire process a breeze. They even let us have our special moment after in the room and brought out a few accessories to try. What a wonderful experience. Our assistant Michelle was so patient and wonderful while we tried on 15 dresses! It was my first appointment to look at wedding dresses, going in without an idea of what I wanted. Michelle provided her years of bridal gown experience and was able to show lots of samples within our price range.

The entire process from scheduling an appointment online to working with a consultant (Michelle) to help me select a perfect dress for a wedding I will be officiating was a delight. Bonus too - they have a nice selection of lovely gifts for brides and I even was able to get something cute for my dog!

I had the absolute best experience finding my dress at Gilded Rose Atelier!!! The shop is gorgeous, the owner Lulu and my consultant Michelle were fabulous. This was the 12th and thankfully last bridal boutique I visited and none of them compared to GRA. It was so exciting to say “YES” here and I would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Everything about my experience with the women who work at Gilded Rose was amazing! The communication before the appointment, making sure the dresses that I wanted to try on would be in store, and the relaxed atmosphere during the try on process were incredible. I went for the sip and shop event a few months back and had such a great experience! The owners and the staff were so welcoming, friendly, professional and helpful! This was the first wedding boutique I visited after getting engaged and I felt a little overwhelmed and was pretty confident I just wanted to look around and not try anything at this time. I could never have imagined such an amazing place to pick out my wedding dress. Wedding dress shopping was something I was not looking forward to, and I was so worried I would not find a dress that fit my personality, style, and taste. After several not so successful appointments at other places, I decided on a whim to call Gilded Rose Atelier. They were so kind and inviting over the phone that I decided to schedule an appointment and go in.Upon arrival, I immediately had a promising feeling. The salon is stunning in itself. I was greeted by bridal consultant Michelle and owner Lulu, who asked about what looks I was interested in and what I didn’t like. Michelle invited me to look around the salon while she also pulled some dresses that she thought may suit me. I was amazed at their selection of dresses. They were all so stunning and unlike any other salon I have ever been in. I am a bride who does not want a classic, lacey, or full dress but instead was looking for something glam, sleek, and unique. I found about 10 dresses I wanted to try on within minutes.After looking around, Michelle assisted me in trying on all of the gowns, and let me take my time while me and my mom looked at each detail and discussed what we liked and didn’t. Based on what we discussed, Michelle and Lulu would go pull other dresses for me, and were so patient and kind while I evaluated each one. I felt absolutely no pressure or impatience while I was there, but instead was surrounded by a staff who was so helpful and understanding.The dress I chose was the 2nd dress I put on, but I continued to try on others and decided to think on it for a couple of days. I loved every single dress I tried on (I had always said I would never want a full a line dress, however absolutely loved one that Michelle and Lulu pulled for me to try on- they really know what they are doing!) Well sure enough, I could not stop thinking about that 2nd dress, as well as the amazing salon and staff itself, and decided to go back a few days later. Michelle and Lulu were as welcoming as ever, and helped me try on the dress again to help me make my decision even easier. They also helped me find the perfect hair piece to match my dress. They congratulated me with a goody bag of champagne, other goodies, and vendor recommendations.I could not have asked for a more personalized, stress free, & luxurious experience in picking a wedding dress. I had felt so discouraged before finding this salon. I am extremely picky, and even for other events have spent months looking for a dress. Between the selection of gowns, as well as the amazing staff, that was not the case here. You will not find any dresses like the dresses at Gilded Rose Atelier. The gowns here are truly a work of art and one of a kind compared to other Bridal Salons.
