What a lovely book store. It’s well-kept, clean and organized. This store sells used books, vintage books, a selection of brand-new bestsellers, Decomposition notebooks and lots of other bibliophile knick-knacks. I marvelled at the miniature models and the “fairy house” that can be found here. Prices are fair and I like that the hardcovers I bought came with a clear protective cover. Baraboo is lucky to have this store.

Excellent bookshop and friendly proprietor. Best August Derleth books in the area. Good general stock and does have some nicer titles of genre interest.

Independently owned book store, it has a great selection of used books, I found some very unusual cards, and current selection of local authors. Staff was very helpful and worth the trip from Pewaukee. If you are in the area please stop.

This is a fantastic store. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me find the books I was looking for, and I found a few I hadnt expected to find. The prices are very fair considering theyre a small independent store, and Id very happily choose to come back here, over a big chain any day. I highly recommend popping in and checking them out.

Hey it’s got good books, comfy spots to read, cute bathroom, and they are a bookstore surviving in the age of Amazon in a pandemic so I give lots of respect to the owners.

One of my favorite bookstores! They have a huge selection and seems like books get rotated through with some frequency. I love the extensive WI features. Nice selection of puzzles, games, journals, etc. Really nice folks working there too.

They had a decent amount of books, and the organization is easy enough to understand. Prices were higher than I expected, comparable to purchasing the books new. Unless you are hunting to a particular hard to find book, you are probably better off finding something used on Amazon.

My husband was too kind. Avoid! We ended up with 2 books missing pages, 1 was $10! More than half were $1 -$2 less then brand new. All books were written in. One book my kids picked out in the childrens section was not a childs book by any means. The owner was rude, didnt ask once to help or explain the lay out if the shop. He seemed like we as well as the few others who came in were a nuisance. We got 12 USED books and it cost us $78! Most were little kid books. Well how many hardcovers did you by, you may ask-3! A fannie mae cookbook, american girl cookbook-missing pages and had duplicate pages and an everhigh book. Stay away unless you want to be price gouged.

Walk through the doors and right into a time capsule. This bookstore looks more like a vintage library. I felt so curious to see what would be around the next corner. Very cozy and definitely a place that I could curl up on an afternoon and just explore. Definitely a new favorite for bookstores!

I never bought three books at a book store but here I did. The Silver Man, John Meecham, and the Geology of Wisconsin. It seamed like they knew I was coming. I will be back to find more treasures.

This 20 year old gem of a store is one of the best used bookstores in the Midwest. 3000 square feet of great books, coffee, and treats and includes new cards, regional history books and calendars. Live music is offered most weekends. In response to Cassies negative response, the dog she is referring to is a service dog (not to be pet, or fed). We are sorry she feels that way, but we are very happy to have this store in our downtown.

Bigger than it looks from the outside. The books are spread all the way to the back of the building. all A little pricey but normal for the volume. Reading chairs scattered through the store. Went on a Saturday and a couple times turned a corner to find someone looking at me like I was disturbing their spot at the library. Pardon me for browsing this store? It was a beautiful day for reading outside, but hey thats just me.
