Geico sent me here for a repair, odd little office but every one was friendly and efficient. took just 30 mins to fix a chip in the wind shield can hardly notice the repair

Less convenient and more expensive than doing business with a small independent glass shop. I took my business elsewhere this time. Their workers are great in my previous experience, but they used to be much more affordable.

Horrible job. The roof of the car had been painted, the gasket had paint on it. A simple 10 second cut across the gasket with a razor blade to separate the paint from the gasket could have prevented this disaster. But the tech didnt cut the gasket free, just ripped it right off and ruined the paint on the roof. Now Ive got to have the roof painted again.... Real nice...

The tech was waiting for us upon arrival, and had us on the road in 15 minutes. Wonderful customer service.

“If you want your windshield installed like it was, you should probably go somewhere else that pays closer attention.” That is what I was told by the manager after their second failed attempt to replace the windshield on my tacoma. I paid extra for oem glass and the first windshield was the wrong glass. It also leaked and the technician got sealant smeared all around the outside and damaged the interior pillars on my truck. I had to go out of my way to source new pillars and the second repair wasn’t much better. Although the second attempt used the correct glass, there was still excess sealant around the frame and the windshield had a half inch gap on the drivers side that makes noise going down the highway. I went back again to see if they could fix it and was told the glass is too expensive to replace for just that alone. So I had them leak test it in hopes that they would have to replace it. It didn’t leak so I’m stuck with an uncentered windshield that makes so much wind noise I have to turn my radio up to levels I didn’t know it could reach.

Had to edit. Windshield leaked, personal property was damaged. After about an hour of talking to robots finally got in touch with a very dismissive woman a city three hours away. The company takes no responsibility for the destroyed property in my vehicle, were pretty rude about it. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

No call, no show. Waited all day andngot a canceled email right after 5pm. Called my insurance company and they stated safelite was short staffed and couldnt make it. Something they should have addressed well before they were due to be here. Had to reschedule and will see if they show up this time.

The installation is poor. There are large gaps between the glass and the rubber.

Make sure to check everything before technician lets you take the vehicle. Molding clips were broke. Then tried to tell me they will push back out as he shows me that he breaks the clip teeth. Takes a week to get parts. Technician was friendly, person I spoke to after explaining I had already called and customer care explained its under the warranty was not pleasant. 3 trips to the shop is enough.. the first technically was someone getting the wrong windshield for our vehicle.Also my dash cam that wasnt on the window was unplugged which was unnecessary. An was not notified that it was.**They say they are open until 5pm online but in person only open until 4ish most days, which explains why there is no close time on the door.Will not be back. Wish I had gone to someone more local style.

My scheduled technician never showed in the time given (8:00 - 12:00). I called the Bangor office & was told they could leave voice mail for the tech & he would call me back. No call. I waited almost an hour and called the Bangor office back to be told that “something” happened so they would need to order new glass. I totally understand that things happen and if they had called me in a timely manner I would have gladly rescheduled my appointment. If you claim great customer service then you should provide it.

I had my front windshield replaced, while I was working. Due to inclement weather, the technician came to pick up my car from my office lot, replaced the windshield in their shop, returned my car to the parking lot, leaving the keys where I asked (I was in a meeting and couldnt come down) and my car was neat and clean, and it took maybe an hour? GREAT service and I was so pleased, thank you Safelite!

Great customer service

Was on vacation and had my rear window smashed by someone. Safelite worker who removed what was left broke 4 parts on my jeep. I called and was told I was responsible for paying for 2 of them myself. Took a week to have the new window installed. The guys who installed it were very nice though and did a good job even though they had to somewhat rig it on there because the window they ordered wasnt nearly as nice as the previous one and fit poorly. Ill probably end up paying someone else for a better one when I get home.

When calling and getting through to an actual person here, it put you through too many automated questions. Its frustrating. Had to wait too long of a time for an actual person to talk with so I just hung up. When trying to do the online quick quote for one tiny chip, they quoted me $120.00!!. Frustrated to a max, I called Quirk Auto, got an actual person in less than one minute and a quote of $55! Now thats more like it!!

I was scheduled for a windshield replacement at my apartment but becuase of the weather (and me having no garage) Safelite fit me in at the shop instead! Service was quick and I was offered coffee, water, reading material, and tv to watch as I waited. Staff were friendly and happy to be there!

Not bad but not great either, we had more trouble getting the correct windshield than we should have and the seal started to fail not long after replacement, now my car gets icy inside and has some water stains from wherever the failure is.

Always check your windshield before the technician leaves!! Ours was not installed properly or they used the wrong parts and had gaps all around the windshield. After speaking to a manager I was told it will be a week before someone can come back to fix it. I will never use safelite again.
