Though it’s not the cleanest or most fully-stocked store in the area, it’s a great place to get Middle Eastern staples like spices, pickled vegetables, olive oil, and rice at a bargain price!

My partner and I love coming here for authentic Indian ingredients and sauces. The staff has always been very helpful and nice!

A hidden gem packed to the brim with tons of international spices, snacks, and groceries! I always leave with a few more things than I intended, but its okay because the prices are great. The staff here are lovely people who will go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

The chicken is not well cooked inside and only grilled out side and one of my friends even got wrong order instead of chicken but they immediately changed to our order, that is fine and they gave me sweet burger instead of spicy chicken burger, which I have asked for. I am not going again. Sorry

Very big store with all shorts of Indian stuff. Spices, vegetables, fruits, utensil, clay pots, all shorts of meat.. and many more. But fish is not sold. You have to enter the store from back side.**If you want fresh vegetables then go on Monday. They bring fresh vegetables from Philadelphia on Monday morning.

Horrible customer service. Extremely rude worker in the meat area. Messed up my order despite me repeating it 4 times, then had an attitude and tried to say this is what I asked for, even when another customer mentioned that wasn’t what i asked for. I’m not sure why they don’t have their front door open. Not send much options as other halal stores. Definitely would never come again. Horrible service and attitudes. Don’t waste your money here.

Fantastic store! Unbeatable prices for uncompromising quality. I started going last week and have been back three time since to get spices, meat (from the butcher in the back), toilet paper, a new mop, tin-foil, rubber bands, chutney, and rice!They are super friendly and are just getting off of the ground. Cant wait to see this place become an anchor in the neighborhood!

Its very popular for being a HALAL meats shop. Its very spacious which also has a cellular phone service station within. Staff are very friendly the prices are affordable. Let me add that they take all type of payments including EBT. Over all clean and the butcher is smart and fast for your HALAL meats needs.

This place is amazing. Incredible selection of produce and shelf goods from Indian subcontinent & the Levant that can be really hard to find in the US. And the meat is AMAZING. Great goat and lamb. The owner, Anwar, is kind and fair, the prices are great, and sometimes if you walk in around 2 pm hes making some big pot of food for anybody to tuck in to. This place is the heart of the neighborhood to me, I come here once a week. Its insane to me that Giant a few blocks away is always so crowded, when this place has better food and produce at better prices. NOTE: The main entrance is on the other side of the building from Greenmount, from the parking lot in back. The Greenmount entrance is often locked.

So many amazing products - and great prices! There is a butcher in the back and they sell organic, fresh chicken, beef, lamb and goat. Just go towards the back of the store - or go in through their parking lot behind the building. And really friendly!

You cannot enter the store from the front. There is no sign that distinctly says Rear Entrance. There was just a man who looked at me and I was trying to ask how to enter. He just waived his hand. I had no clue what that meant. I finally went around the Rear (which was weird) but it takes you to the meat section. I walked in and no one greated me and I had my daughter with a hijab on in my hand. I announced As-salaamu Alaikum WaRathmatulahi WaBarakatahu and no one responded. They just looked at me. I was like what kind of place is this. Then an Indian brother walked in and it was all salaams and hugs. Subhannallah. Its likely because I am African American. So...it looks like if your not Indian/Desi or visibly Arab, they dont speak or barely recognize you as a customer. Subhannallah. Authubilahi Minash Shaitan Ar-Rasheem. I had ordered spent a lot of time looking for a halal grocery since Im new to Baltimore so I just ordered lamb and some steak meat when the brother finally turned around and then I paid and left. I did tell the brother ringing up my purchase how rude it was to not recognize Muslim customers to give salaams regardless of a persons race. He just said, ok. Sheik. Put you debit number. I just shook my head and left. Even my 5 year old daughter who goes to Islamic school asked why they didnt answer when I greeted them. Subhannallah.

When arriving, a piece of paper on the front door tells you to call a number because the door is locked. When I called the number, the guy tells me they arent there anymore. It was weird because I was at the store and it looked full of items. At any rate I left. Not sure if theyre still open or not??

Very spacious store. It has the typical south asian supplies. Weve purchased meat from here. It was good and the spices were good also. However the baklawa from the refrigerator was very old. Soggy and tasted like fridge. So stick to the meat, spices, dishes and other housewares etc. Id stay away from the frozen foods.

I had very bad experience at this place. I went to buy some meat lamb and chicken on thursday in the evening .i told him to give 3 pound lamb. He gave me 4 pound and charged extra money on the that saying charge for cleaning the lamb. I didnt understand for a moment and i tried to explain him nicely. He is saying me not to take lamb if not interested very rude way of talk.dark guy with glasses. And they charged me 4$ extra on the top for cleaning charges . I even kept bad service on the owner copy when i made the payment . I was very disappointed i ended up paying extra money. Because i was badly in need of lamb that day. I dont prefer this place. There is a other place close by called punjabi grocery store . They do nice service and reasonable .
