Not accessible, old-world shop. They were so nice that Ill bet you could order over the phone and theyd bring it out to you. They had well more than everything I was looking for! Plenty of homemade and imported items from every course of the menu. The deli and carry-out counter make everything to order and they cut/wrap it freshly while you wait.Parking is a puzzle and theres no accessible parking in the area. I parked 2 blocks away. They held on to my paid packages and I drove up the alley beside the store to load my car that way. While I was there a Baltimore City Fire Department firetruck came in for a couple of firefighters to order and pick up their lunches. If firefighters eat there, whats more reassuring than that?Prices are more than fair. Id been chomping at the bit for years to visit Trinacria, and to support them as a small business with a long legacy in the City. I was not disappointed.

What a find! I will be back. Great selection and prices. I went in for just an iced coffee and left with pesto, pasta, Italian spice mix and wine. The coffee was delicious, the staff sweet as can be and the range of products and great prices is nothing short of mindblowing particularly in the small space. This isnt a giant grocery store by the way. Has a very cozy neighborhood feel. Even the other patrons are friendly- you get the feeling they are regulars. Well worth the drive in from counties outside of the city.

My Sicilian immigrant great great grandparents started going here when it first opened. Some of my earliest memories are eating cookies here while my great grandmother and mom shopped. Went today for the first time in maybe 10 years and it’s still just as good as it’s always been and I’m definitely not gonna wait ten more years to go back. The tiramisu is the best I’ve ever had.

This is my favorite store in the world. Distinguished from other Italian delis by their prices. Have been going to this store every other week since 1977. Unique in so many ways. Wonderful people that work there. Can be exceedingly busy on Saturdays, and before holidays. I was there one Saturday when a man who came from Virginia to shop there had a $500. bill and a loaded pick-up truck. This place is special.

After reading the great reviews here, I ordered an Italian cold cut sub since Ive been craving one but was not in the position to leave the house to go to my normal spot. Well I was disappointed. The sub was skimpy on meat which I am not used to. I asked for the oil and vinegar to be put in a condiment cup so my bread didnt get soggy during transport but I was not sent any nor did the sandwich taste or look like oil/vinegar was on there so it really lacked taste.

Not the best place to get a sub/hoagie around this area. The staff is short with you. They do not have many ingredients like a traditional deli should. The bread was hard. I asked for honey mustard on the side when I ordered. I received my meal w/o the honey mustard. So I politely asked for it again. The guy took my hoagie and slathered it with honey mustard. While eating halfway through, I found a thick black hair on the cheese. If you want a proper hoagie/sub go north to Philly. You will get served a properly.

I LOVE that Trinacria is still a going concern. I have been shopping there for 30+ years. (I go back to the days before there were cash registers, when dried pasta was tied into paper with red string and the bill was calculated with a short pencil stored behind a hair ear when not in use.) Vince and crew have worked hard to maintain the business through lots of changes in the market and the neighborhood. While its hours are constrained, its on my way home from work, so I am able to get there regularly. The products they sell are FIRST RATE and VERY fairly priced. The meats and cheeses are especially good, and there is no better Italian sausage available anywhere than that Mike grinds and stuffs. I always let my wife and daughters know when Im going to stop by so they have time to place an order. Were I to walk into the house with a box/bag of Trinacria and NOT asked who wanted a cannoli or rainbow cookies, Id be in a lot of trouble. When I recommend it to folks who have not been there, I tell them Youll gain three pounds when you walk in just by smelling the place!.

In a short sentence, “I love this place”. Especially their freshly baked bread and when I say fresh, I mean bread that just have come out of the oven! I am not Italian, so I can not comment on the authenticity of the food, but I don’t care; I love carbs and they provide it!Another nice thing about this store is that the goods over there are not overpriced, which adds to the popularity of this place among its customers.
