I have lived in this area since 1994, countless times I have drove past this shop and never found myself in a positing needing their service until now. Looking to put my home on the market and I just knew my front bay window was in need of replacement as the seal failed and between the panes of glass I had very bad fog and moisture build up.Got a quote range over the phone and after poking around with other bids, I found Hodges to be the best value. I was originally given a 2 week turn around but I asked if any appointment becomes available sooner, to please reach out as I would like to go to market with a fresh window.. 24 hours later I got a follow up call, and sure enough Hodges was able to squeeze me in.The tech who arrived at my home was extremely pleasant and very professional. Took the measurements, validated that the lower end of the quote was good (which is unusual, you expect when given a range, the higher number will be your final total), and came back a little over an hour later (like i said, Im really close to their location) and got the new window installed in no time.Man, we have spent too many years looking through that old foggy mess, I didnt realize how clear a properly installed window could be (as embarrassing as it is to admit). Its a shame I wont be able to enjoy many years with this new window, hopefully the future owners will enjoy it. I do know my cat is probably trying to figure out how he is able to see us now when we walk up to the home ;)Buying a new home not too far from Hodges will make sure if I ever need Windows or glass work, to give them a call. You got a customer for life.. until I move out of your service area ;)

I can not be any more happy with my new shower door! It looks amazing! The whole process was easy and everyone was great to work with! All of the staff were so knowledgeable about the doors and what was going to work best in the bathroom and and so amazed at how great it turned out

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I stopped into Hodges one day a couple months ago to inquire about having them come out to my house to repair a broken panel in a bow window, but I found out I live outside their service window. However, the owner, John, was happy to talk with me and he described exactly what I needed to do to get the panel removed so that I could bring into their shop. He told me to give them a days notice to make sure they could let staff know that I would be bringing the panel in for repair so that they could do the repair for me in the same day and save me a return trip to pick it up since I live more than an hour away. I waited for the weather to warm up and then picked a day last week where I would be travelling near their location for a job for work. I called and let them know I would be brining the panel in the next morning. Johns instructions were spot-on perfect and I had no issues getting the broken panel removed. I dropped it off around 9 am and the staff was EXTREMELY helpful. I had previously been quoted over $700 for a replacement panel from the manufacturer, so you can imagine how delighted I was to find out that the repair was going to be MUCH LESS expensive. I left the window and went to do the work I had nearby. At 11:30am they had the window ready for me to pick up! I cannot thank Hodges enough for all the help and the great work they did for my window repair! This is a shining example of the Great American Small Business that is customer-focused, polite, energetic, and extremely helpful in resolving customers needs. If they ever wanted to start a side-business training other businesses on proper customer service and care, they could easily do it! Hodges now has a lifetime customer in me and I will be referring MANY future customers to them!

The gentleman that installed my glass bathtub doors was very pleasant, courteous and respectful of my home. He was careful not to make too much mess and cleaned up when he was done. His installation was excellent. He was very precise and paid close attention to details. There were a few small obstacles but he found solutions for them. It was very obvious to me that this man took great pride in his work, something which is often lacking in today’s world. I am extremely pleased with this home improvement.

Hodges was extremely accommodating. I dropped the screen to be fixed on a Monday. I asked if they could have it done by the weekend. I got a call on Tuesday that is was already finished! I am thrilled by the service I received from Hodges Window & Glass. I was in a bit of a time crunch trying to replace a glass panel for a door, and when I first called their store, I knew it was a long shot because I was about an hour away. However, Mr. Hodges was very kind on the phone and gave me a few options. The one I went with was to take the glass panel out, take it to their store, and see if there were any stock pieces available to replace. Not only did he confirm that my measurements should be good for a stock piece, but he also told me how I was going to remove the panel from the frame (I’m new at this). Everything went as smoothly as he described, and when I arrived at the store, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. I’m so thankful, and will definitely be recommending to anyone who asks!

Highly recommended. Called for a quote with my given dimensions. They gave me a ball park number, but when I arrived they measured my glass frame themselves and the price was slightly higher than the quote. I didnt have a problem with this and handed over my card but I mentioned how the over the phone quote was lower and they respected the lower over the phone quote without any hassle and told me the glass will be repaired within 1-3 days. Later that day they called me saying the glass was finished and ready for pickup. Everything was fast, no in store wait times. This is definitely my go to spot for glass repair.

I am so pleased with the glass replacement I had done at Hodges window and Glass in middle river. They replaced glass doors and shelves in a China cabinet my grandmother left me. The cabinet was very sentimental and they made it look brand new. They were very professional and worked fast so that I could get it in a short period of time. Hodges replaced the sealed, double-pane glass in one of the side panels of the our picture window. The installation crew arrived in a very timely fashion and were courteous as well as professional. I can’t say enough about how wonderful an experience I had at Hodges Window and Glass.I needed 2 pieces of glass cut to replace a basement window. My measurements were a little to close for one of them. . I brought the piece back in and asked if they could trim it down. They not only trimmed it down, but also cut me a second new piece for no charge. WOW! I felt like I was a family member. Go no where else if you you need glass cut. They came out 3 times and still didnt get it right. They left a mess (glass and glue) all over the floor and frame of the window. When I complained, they were argumentative. I ended up with a partial refund and will have to pursue the balance in the courts. I highly suggest finding another company to work with. Their work is unreliable and unsatisfactory at best.

I am SO happy that I went with Hodges for our recent repair. Our 7 foot tall picture window in our hallway foyer cracked on the outside. We called Hodges and they gave us a fair quote range over the phone. They came out the first time to remove the cracked pane and order the new glass. They just came out for the second time to install the new double pane of glass and they did an amazing job! Its a big, high window and they had it replaced in no time. They were friendly, efficient and they left everything spotless when they were done. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them. To add, their back office was great at calling to keep me informed of the process along the way. I love when business have great customer service because that can be hard to find!

Took my items into the store in less than an hour of speaking with Jasmine, Tim assisted with getting items from vehicle and estimating pricing. I definitely wasnt expecting that considering it was very busy in the shop and the phones were ringing off the hook.I didnt catch the girls name who rang me up. However she was very sweet. She was quick with ringing me up and out the door I went. The transaction took like 2 min.upon arrival I picked my window up and they gave me a cute little bag of chips that said YOUR ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS. That topped of my already great experience

UPDATE: There was a flaw in the glass installed, it was noticable but I told the installer I had people coming to clean my windows next week and I would have them get it (it was high, 3rd story and wasnt in the inside). My window cleaners tried to remove the mark to the point they scratched the glass. :( I had Hodges come out to take a look at the flaw and even though my window cleaners scrated the glass trying to get the flaw off they still stood behind thier guarantee and replaced the glass. Its absolutely perfect! We had them replace additional glass and will continue to do business with Hodges! They exceeded expectations - thank you!ORIGINAL POST: These guys are great! Hodges Has Upgraded, I havent been in this area since i was in my early 20s. However i decided to stop into Hodges window and glass to get my screens done. I thought it was still a hardware store.Thankfully they still do screen repair. The cost well worth them doing the repair. I tried to rescreen my own screens. It was a haste id rather pay someone else to do.

I had a window that was broken for over 15 years and they were able to make it look brand new for a reasonable price and turned it around in 4 hours

Replaced two dual pane window glasses. First one had a lot of silicon residual on the glass, so I gave one star. But the owner saw the bad review and asked second try, so I gave him another chance with another faulty window. He did his work relatively quick, better finish than before. However, the finish was not perfect.

Got a broken vinyl window glass replaced in an hour! Thats service! I didnt have to replace the entire window. Nice people! Price is also reasonable which is another plus!

Not everyday that I write a review and rarely negative but this is one of the worst companies Ive had the misfortune of interacting with. Their service is extremely slow and the failure to provide basic information and professional timeliness with even the simplest request is appalling. The owner is rude and focused solely on her control over money above quality and micromanages her staff which further causes delays and issues. If you need glass get it from literally any other company because Hodges is one of the worst and not worth the wait or experience!

After having a problem with a small glass cutting job, the staff and owners of Hodges worked really hard to correct a bad experience when it was called to their attention. While it would have been better, of course, not to have had an issue, I must applaud the efforts they made to make it right. I am quite happy with the results.

The Hodges crew did an awesome job fixing a fogged up/damaged window we had. Their turnaround time was incredibly quick, their staff was so fun, and their craftsmanship was top notch. They ended up charging me less than they quoted over the phone when I had already agreed to pay more. These guys are honest & great. Id absolutely recommend them.

I used them many times with great success and let my guard down. The result was almost a $1,000 invoice for three small pieces of glass cut and installed. The glazing one of the windows was so terrible it warranted a call back. Always get a written quote from this company to avoid the problem I experienced. Two stars because they were willing to bring the invoice down from insane to reasonable.

My family Has been coming here for well over 30 years. Happy to see them go from hardware to full on window repair. I brought my window in last month to get repaired. While I was in there I seen they do custom shower enclosures. Long Story short my custom shower glass is now installed and I am completely satisfied with the work done #showerenclosure. I love the fact that as a child to an adult. I have watched this business grow into the awesome place it is today. Still Family owned and operated. As a long term customer I recommend bringing in your windows, screens, glass work etc... I have never been dissatisfied with any service I received. Everyone in the front office is so nice. I was in there for 30 min drinking coffee and reminiscing on old times. very cool to be able to feel that way with a local company.

I dropped a double pane window section off on March 9th. My son went to pick it up On March 10th and they did not install the frosted glass in the window. Window had to be redone. I picked the window up that evening. When I went to install the window pane I found the frame put together incorrectly and one of the screws was only in by one thread. Had to repair the framing and tighten the screws. Called the shop and informed them of the problems. I told them that for $170.00 this is the worst work that I have seen from a company. The answer I got from them was that it is nice to know if the problems and the owner will like knowing of my issues. I will be taking my window repairs elsewhere. Please be cautious with the windows you drop off. Check all the work and make sure they don’t make you pay for sub par work.

I called on a Thursday (6/14). They had someone out that afternoon and had a quote for full screens. I picked my screens up Monday (6/18). When I got them home they were a smidge off. Called Tim he scheduled someone to come out on Thursday (6/21). The tech came looked and took the screens back to the shop to have them cut down was back within the hour and installed them for free. I wont go anywhere else now for any of my screen or window needs. Great customer service and it was an amazing turn around. The price for my nine full screens was perfect for my budget. I highly recommend.

I have had a great experience with this company. I brought in some DIFFICULT screens that Hodges had no problem making for me. I originally Went to a company called glass and screen hospital who is located right next to Hodges Window and Glass. Glass and screen hospital seems like a nice company but cant do nearly as much as Hodges Window and glass can. I would recommend Hodges Window And Glass Over the other company.
