Amazing experience. Same day delivery. I paid to have oil delivered & my furnace primed. the tech was friendly and honest. He told me to make sure I call the company and request a refund because my system didn’t need to be primed. Called, requested the credit and was told I will get a call tomorrow once it is credited back to my account. Super friendly service. Would 1000% recommend and will be using them in the future.

Never again will I use alliance fuel ordered fuel online on Sunday money came out of my account on Sunday got an email on Sunday saying delivery in 1 to 4 days that didn’t happen called on Thursday to see if they were going to deliver my oil that day the girl who answered the phone said either today or tomorrow well neither of those happened called back the next day the girl that answered the phone said she would check to see if delivery was coming on Friday and would call me back in 5 mins that didn’t happen she never called back finally it got delivered Saturday was not a happy camper!!

After years of using this company I just had to switch. First of all they have changed their policy you have to order at least 150 gallons and they now take 3 to 5 days to deliver. Not acceptable I called another company ordered the 50 gallons Ithat i wanted and itWill be here tomorrow

I wish I could give them zero stars. They delivered to me and claimed I had a contract although I never did. Delivered oil although I told them few times to stop delivery as I have contract with other company and they still delivered and asked me to pay for it. Highly recommend to avoid business with those guys - there are plenty other great companies out there

My family used this company for over 3 years and never had an issue. Suddenly we can no longer get our usual amount of oil delivered because now they don’t deliver anything smaller then 75 gallons? AND they no longer accept checks as a form of payment?Terrible change in business policy. They just lost a customer in my family!I highly recommended DIRECT FUEL out of Middle River MD for anyone looking for a RELIABLE heating oil company.

I have used Alliance fuel for years. They use to have same day delivery. They no longer do that since they actually became Carroll fuel. That is the only reason I can not give them 5 stars. The customer service people are great. I feel so comfortable talking to them.

Warning - Sadly, major problems at this company - make sure to read other reviews to get an idea of how they operate or dont - They appear to have few employees left. I was told by Alliance that they are having problems delivering fuel and that is certainly true.

I called on a Monday to schedule a delivery, was told they would be here Tuesday. They never came or called. I called back Wednesday only to be told the truck broke down, and someone shouldve called me. I was told someone would be here for sure today, no one came or called. They cant give you a time frame because the drivers make their own schedules. They cant call the drivers. Poor customer service on all ends. Its Thursday morning and Ill see what the story is today.

Ive been with Alliance about 8 years now and have not had any issues. But I have noticed since being bought out by Carroll, a change in the way they do business, like most buyouts, which isnt terribly bad but noticeably less timely...they have obviously grown which usually results in a less personal customer service experience. Many have complained about fuel not being delivered within a certain time frame (usually same day or when they call and are told it will be delivered that day) but what people have to realize is that 1) youre not the ONLY person getting oil delivered on that day and they only have so many trucks out for deliveries and 2) dont wait until youre almost out of oil to order it, especially during a storm or impending bad weather. Thats just common sense. Though I do understand budgeting...which is what brings me to why Ive been with Alliance this long...they dont gouge you like the other companies and force you to get oil delivered even when you dont need it then hold the balance over your head until you pay it in full, thats the number one reason I stay with them. I have not experienced bad customer service and understand the need for them to turn off their phones after hours...too many unhappy people leaving messages making it a full time job to JUST return those calls. I hope they dont get too big that they stray further from good customer service and timely delivery...for now, Im sticking with them.

Same day delivery? Ive been waiting two days. When I called to inquire about heating oil, I was told that they deliver the same day. I told her that my order was placed two days ago and the woman on the other end of the phone changed her story. The drivers make their own schedules and delivery routes.If you need heating oil, and need it within a day or two, Alliance is NOT the company you can depend on.

Always happy with our service. Never a problem with delivery. Of course, the day after I write that, they dont call to schedule delivery behind a locked gate. I wonder how that is going to go.

My parents have used Alliance for.....I dont know how long!!! Its been a good number of years. Now that Im helping them with their fuel needs I have to say that I have been met with the most pleasant and knowledgeable customer service representatives and with expedience in oil delivery. Thanks for helping this member of the sandwich generation get what needs to be done for my parents.

This company is garbage. Ive had to call them every month about oil delivery DESPITE MY BEING ON REGULAR DELIVERY. Im now sitting in a cold house, without oil, after THREE DAYS of calling them and being assured each day that today the oil would be delivered. Still, no oil. If youre smart, DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.

This is the worst company ever. Scheduled them 9 days ago. took my money that day and said they would deliver 6 days later. 6 days! 1st day, wait all day and am told after three calls that they deliver till 10 pm. next day call in to the liars club and am told that it was to dark to deliver.Even though I have two motion detector flood light over this area. But promised it would be delivered today. Today came and went after two more calls and a promise that the driver was told by the dispatcher that it had to be delivered Today. Yet, we still sit here without fuel: which by the way means we are without heat in 8 degree weather. can not wait to hear why it is they think the can take your money without compensation or put peoples children in danger knowingly. But yeah customer service is wonderful they smile and are happy to tell you what you want to hear all the while knowing your are being ripped off.

I have never had a bad experience with Alliance. The staff is always very pleasant and helpful. When I ran out of oil I called and they would either come that day or the next morning. Great company.

Ordered 200 gallons online yesterday, Tuesday. Was not given a delivery date. When I called today, they said delivery would be Monday because they are on a summer delivery schedule now.

*Update 1/19/2018* Happened AGAIN.Awful, awful, awful. I have a few awful experiences with this company. One time a driver stood in my yard and yelled at me because my yard wasnt clear enough for him. Then recently, the same driver said he couldnt get where he needed to be and skipped my house altogether, even though regular cars could through the snow. Then the company gave me the round around on the phone, said they would call me back, never did, then hung up on me when I demanded that they fix the situation. The woman on the phone had a terrible attitude, and was awful.They took my money fast enough.Avoid this place. Avoid.

My parents who are in the eightys ordered 100 gallons of oil and was never delivered. Thet were paid for nothing. Never got a phone call from a supervisor. Shady company. They take advantage of the elderly. Beware.

Please beware of this company Ive paid for oil 2 days ago and no delivery! I knew something was wrong when they lied about calling me to inform of no delivery. I got promised a delivery today and nothing and to make it even worse they have stopped answering their phone lines today around 345 its now 510pm they dont close until 530! SCAMMERS! As soon as my bank opens tomorrow Im disputing the charges!

Alliance Fuel has great, competitive pricing and very quick delivery. They are also one of the only companies that offer delivery without a contract. They are always pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend them.

Called and scheduled a delivery was told I had to be home for them to deliver to inspect the tank inside. Took a day off work only to find out the driver didnt feel like delivering. Furious and worried I might run out of fuel I call their office (which should have an emergency line) and found out they disconnect their line after hours. Not even able to go to voicemail. Company took my $600 and ran! Will be going to BBB if not refunded!

First you can’t get a hold of them with out a 20 min wait. That’s an average wait time between three times calling them.And to top it off even though there website says one day delivery and when I placed my order it said two day delivery, I got a call back saying it would be a 7 day delivery time... that’s fine, but you need to not false advertise delivery times and answer yours phones in a little more timely fashion.

Placed order last Friday (my credit card was charged) and was scheduled for Monday delivery...didnt happen. Called And their phone not working. Tuesday morning promissed delivery, again no show. No follow up call or nothing. Blizzard on the way and no hear for days.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I’ve been waiting for two days for a delivery that has been paid for. When I called them today, they claimed that my tank was full. Now they have my account mixed up with someone else’s account. Never using them again!

I have been waiting literally all day for my oil delivery and it has still not arrived. if you have no life and dont mind wasting your time for a delivery that may or may not show up... go for it. This is ridiculous.

The receptionist gives the company a bad reputation. She is very rude & obnoxious. She thought I hung up when she started putting me down & bad mouthing me. She does not know the meaning of customer service.

This company is a joke. I ordered oil and was told it would be delivered next day. The next day comes and no delivery. So I called them and they said it was rescheduled for the following day. This went on for a week. I ended up cancelling my order and going with another company. My oil got delivered on the same day.

The worst customer service ever. They lied to me for 2 days in a row and told me my delivery was on the truck and on its way. Called again and told that the delivery will definitely be there today! I guess I will wait and see if I was lied to for a 3rd day in a row. Also, I was told we can refund your money if you want. Wow. Do not trust one word this company tells you. They know when its cold youre stuck.

Avoid. We have two tanks. One tank was filled, but the driver didnt know how to prime it. He said it didnt need to be primed. My husband had to figure it out himself. Second tank he refused to fill because he needed to step up on something to attach the nozzle to the tank. (Even though theyve filled this tank without a problem for two years.) Manager called and offered to install an piece on my tank to extend the fitting (for a price of course!) Nope. Switching to a new heating oil company.

Joe in customer service is friendly and scheduled us next day for delivery. We have used Alliance fuel multiple times and we are satisfied with the prices and service.

They are always nice on the phone when I call to order. They deliver in a timely manner and are very courteous.

Had Appt on Wednesday jan 23,2019 waited all day and night missed work no one showed up i called the next morning they have the nerve to tell me im on the list for today with a attitude like i can miss another day from work finally talked to a supervisor after calling all morning the driver will be there in 15 min what the hell Sorry is not the word i want to call Alliance Fuel Oil will never them use again its only as cold in my house as it is outside 6 degree

I bought my house in June, had my tank filled up and the technician must have been new, he called his boss to ask how to prime the unit. 20 minutes after he left my house was on fire!

Took a week to get someone to deliver after being told it would be the next day. Horrible customer service everybody lies including the drivers and do called managers. I called Murphy’s they were $.20 cheaper a gallon and delivered at 8:00am the next day.

Where is my oil that was supposed to be delivered today? I called and they said they don’t know where the truck is and then when I called back they were closed. I will be finding another company.

Please dont buy from this company..They are unprofessional and inconsiderate..i been with this company for years and never had I had problems up until last year beginning..As of this year I am done with this company.

We had so much trouble getting my 96year old Dad on auto delivery. Last year. Now, he died in May and we sold his home Oct 1st and they auto delivered today to his vacant home with the chimney bricks in the front yard....that is all I have to say. Oh and we had cancelled auto deliveries in June.
