I ordered a $2000.00 torque converter in June. When I put it in Only had a 1/16 clearance looked to tight Installed anyway. 2 month later 3 weekend drives, where the seal rides there was a bur from weld splatter where the front seal rides causing to leaking.Called ATI they told me that it was all in the flex plate and continued to tell me how no one knows what they are doing excepted for them. I took it to a transmission shop they said the height was off .080 and the bur needed turned down would cost about $75.00. I called ATI back talked to c/s told them what I found with instant attitude to send it back at my cost. So I let local shop fix it, works great now. This place doesnt care about it customers and obviously they do not care about return business.

1100hp 4000lbs and 14000 miles on a 12 year old Fuel comp th400 and 9 Fuel and blown converter with no issues.

Cant speak about their transmissions/converters, but have bought/used their dampers with great success on several engines - have always been treated right by anyone Ive had contact with at ATI - would recommend them for sure.

Needed a custom size balancer hub. Part turned just as order and high quality.

Purchased th350 trans with brake. Rated to 850hp guaranteed. It survived six 1/4 mile passes then broke. Sent it back to ATI expecting them to honor warranty only to be told that I must have done something wrong causing it to break. Ive been racing for 25yrs and ATIs is the only trans Ive ever had break. They would NOT honor their warranty. I had them return my broken trans to me and was extremely disappointed as to quality of parts they used for their 850hp capable transmission. I am extremely disappointed with their customer service and would not recommend anyone buy one of their race transmissions.

Terrible customer service. Men in the tech department are absolutely disrespectful, hung up on me after I was trying to explain the situation with their faulty part. He literally interrupted me every time I went to speak. If it were in person, I would have knocked his teeth in. Purchased from them directly even though somehow I have no email confirmation from them or an invoice... Time to devote my customers engine dampening interests to fluiddampr!
