Your most welcome I love your store and everytime I stop by I get the best service. The staff is always courteous and helpful at this location and Ive been to several other locations. Your staff no matter if its the same or different worker when Im there I always get a five experience, so thank you for the best shopping and selling atmosphere.

This place is a sham. Cloths are used and overpriced AT THIS LOCATION. They will require you to wear a mask and tell you to leave if you dont. THEY WILL NOT SUPPLY ONE. They will force you to buy an overpriced used one of theirs to shop. They refuse to buy back clothing you just bought or give a refund after finding holes or stains. They have lost my business and I have 7 children!

I worked here a while ago, it was not great. Very cliquey place to work. Management played favorites. The owners really gave unrealistic goals and expectations and weren’t friendly whatsoever. The place was not the cleanest.

As much as I love shopping for my kids here they do not provide carts that children can sit in. It hasnt always been this way and Im not sure if it is covid related but it is a very large inconvenience and gets me out the door much faster with fewer things trying to wrangle a hyper 2 year old in my arms through the whole store.

Tried to refuse me service saying St. Louis County no longer accepted medical conditions in stores. Argued with me for about 2 minutes even though I knew for a fact that mandate does not cover medical conditions. Never getting my business again.

Very rude past few times. Will recommend Kirkwood from now on. Update: then a response with the incorrect name. No idea who Alfred is.

I think this is the largest OUAC stores that I frequent! The store is clean and organized. I have sold and purchased many items at this location. I feel the the prices of buying and selling are fair. The staff is friendly.

One of the best stores we have been to. Tons of stuff for your needs and its all color coded. Very nice selection of anything for your kiddos. Will be back even if it is 2 hours away worth the drive compared to some of the other child stores. Bought all of my daughters summer clothing in one stop shop.

Great selection of clothing and great prices. If selling clothing or any other items they give you maybe 10% of the value at most even if the item is on opened brand new and in the box. The store are very organized by size color and type. The store next to me that I visit often toys could be a lot better organized, but the on organization is understandable due to people bringing their kids in While they shop constantly playing with the toys for sale. I would imagine it would be a lot to keep up with organizing them. But they do have great deals on toys as well As furniture and especially strollers. The only thing that I really don’t like about this store is that it is a franchise therefore the stores are not consistent with deals, event, coupons or exchanges and overall policies – it varies from store to store.

The best Once Upon a Child store in the area! Very well organized, nice used products, staff is helpful.

Ive always been treated with courtesy and in a quick fashion. They are always extremely busy so yes, Ill wait a few minutes but that is nothing compared to the amount of pressure they are under. Even when I can see they are over whelmed with inventory and customers huffing and puffing, each employee has calmly dealt with any situation I have been aware of or my own question, concern or check out process. I would give double 5 stars for the fact that dealing with the public is one of the hardest, most stressful jobs anyone will do. Great job keeping the store under control and with a good, calm and happy atmosphere!!

Best one Ive ever been too. Most are so compact and dark it feels like a cave and overwhelming. I drive the extra mileage to go to this one. Its big, has extra lighting, and the aisles are actually big enough 2 people can fit. Ive sold items here too and it is so easy. Defiantly well worth the extra drive!

Great deals if you are shopping, but if you are selling to them its not worth it. I brought in brand names, great shape and in season and they took only a handful of items. When asked what they look for the sales clerk said its up to them. So I think it depends on what person evaluates your sell. Either way, its not worth the time to lug your stuff in there and pick it up. Just donate it to the vets or Saavers.

I drive all the way from Fenton, mo. to go to this location. I could spend hours in this place. Loved the atmosphere and how huge the store is. Great prices and great selection definitely! Very bright and organized store, love it!!

Awesome store! Great deals. Its always fun to see what is new. I rarely have to buy kids clothes anywhere else. This store is larger than most, so it makes it nice to shop in.

This location is fantastic. A HUGE selection that is sorted down to the last detail (which makes it super simple to find what youre looking for). The quality of everything is great and the customer service had always been fantastic.

Have been here a few times in the past few months.The racks are usually so full that you can’t move the other clothing down so the pieces of clothing are unable to be viewed - basically the racks are overloaded with too many items.The toy section looks like items have just been thrown in there by staff - it’s clustered.The stroller aisles are always blocked so you can’t get a cart down them.Other than those three complaints, I will continue to shop here.The staff can tend to seem a bit annoyed, but that’s understandable.Prices are great!

This is my favorite resale shop in the St. Louis metro area. The store is always clean and well organized, the staff is infallibly helpful and friendly, and prices are quite reasonable. Theres a small drop-off station next to the check-out for smaller children to play and watch movies while parents browse. On top of having a great selection of used clothing, dance shoes, baby gear, and toys, they have a nice childrens book section as well with great bargain pricing.

Love this store! I have one near my home but choose to make the 45 min drive to the Ballwin location because they are more organized and have nicer quality clothes. They even have an outstanding collection of shoes. Really satisfied with my overall experience

I love this OUAC! It is so big and organized. Always a great selection of great brands. Staff has always been very friendly every time I visit. I drive 45 minutes to get there & well worth it.

This is the worst resale shop ever. Called and talked to them before I made the 2 hour drive.... They only bought ONE thing out of bags of really nice, many things only worn 1-3 times. The ONE thing they bought had a tag on it.. was brand new. The problem was, they were busy and it was getting close to end of day. I had told the girl when I would arrive and she said no problem... But, when I got there, they barely looked thru my stuff. I told them I had driven 2 hours...they didnt care. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND TROUBLE... DONT USE THIS SHOP!!! It is sad to me when people dont do the right thing....

I LOVE this location! I live about an hour away but will drive here any chance I get as the selection of clothes and shoes for my little guy is FAR better than any of the other locations combined! I think I may even go by there today!

I will say that I will NEVER go to the Ballwin , MO location . On Friday May 3 ,19 . I brought heavy items such as .... Two crib mattresses ,crib , double stroller which no staff offered to help me . I did it all by myself . when I found that the staff told me that they couldnt accept the crib because it was past the date which the whole time I brought the crib they couldnt tell me . I end up taking back to the truck because they couldnt donate it . Again no staff didnt help me . The double stroller they couldnt accept because the wheels where worn down . I end up loading everything back to truck with NO staff help . I sold a lot of nice items and I get very little money . Very cheap ! The store always had a bad smell . The people not always friendly especially the manager when I mention to her that the ticket was exposing my phone number and her comment was Is not like no one is going to call it I had to turn it around the ticket . No one will not change my mind to try to go back to that place . No thabks!

I have been a regular customer at the Ballwin location for over 4 years and shop there as often as 4 times per month however I will not be returning due to the past 2 times of rude customer service, most recently this evening. I didnt have my stamp card with me so usually they provide you with a new one and combine the cards at a later time. You are also supposed to get an extra stamp if you do not choose to have a bag to carry your purchases items in. I simply asked if I could have a new card started and she said that is not how they do things in a very rude tone, and to make sure I bring my stamp card when I shop, then it was here you go as she passed my items to me. There was no thank you at all. The selection does not matter to me, the customer service does and I will never do business here again. No thank you.This location does not have my recommendations at all anymore and i would give no stars if possible.

DO NOT EVER GET A JOB FROM THIS COMPANY! My daughter was employed by them for a little over a year. I wont get in to details of how the belittled her or repeatedly abused their power of employer. I will however tell you that in January we received her W2 and it showed she had not paid any federal tax. I asked her how she filed and then asked to see a paycheck stub. She then tells me that she asked for access several times and was never given a login in to the payroll company they used. We called the store leaving messages for the owner. After 5 days my husband went in to the store and demanded to speak with someone in charge. We then get the name of the payroll company only to call and have them tell us since she is no longer a employee they dont have any records to give her. I decide to do some math. I look at her direct deposited and old schedules. It doesnt add up. Either they owe her money or she paid taxes.My daughter then calls other present and past employees. She is not the only one having this problem. Fortunately for her she did not make enough money that she had to file.Now lets add insult to injury. One month ago she received a notice stating she owed the City of St Louis taxes. She has only worked in the county. The company is located in the county.?we called the City of St Louis the said a letter from the company would provide them with the information they needed and she would not owe taxes. Once again she calls the store and asked to speak with the owner. After a month of no response she got so frustrated she paid the taxes she did not owe.This company rips off its employees! If we receive another bill from any govt office we will be contacting a employment attorney ! #onceuponachild

LOVE this store. I have 4 children and am always in there. I take in things to sell once in a while but mainly I shop there. I know everyone thinks their stuff they are trying to sell is perfect but they will not buy stained or damaged items, things that are name-brand sell best. You wont make a bunch of money selling your things but youll save a lot buying! The staff is always busy and after of dozens of trips to this store I have always had good service. I can imagine a lot of people cop an attitude about their clothes not being good enough for them to buy, or their toys or the store not letting them in early, for petes sake people get over yourselves, its their choice to buy your crap, quit feeling so entitled. If you ever worked a day in retail you wouldnt expect to get in a store early.

Ive been here 3 times and each time I am thoroughly disappointed. I am from Baltimore, MD and this store is ridiculously unorganized and very much lower quality than I am used to for a once upon a child. Will not come again.

I love this store! I think they are pretty fair when the buy your items. ((etter than yardsale) and their prices are very good. I do think their Nike shoes are a little high but I go any chance I can!!

Larger variety than other local OUAC stores. Staff is helpful, but not overbearing. This store also carries NEW items like strollers and beds if youre concerned about recalls or health issues that come along with used items. HUGE selection of maternity clothes and a large shoe section too!I had an issue with a missing piece of clothing I bought the first time I visited, but called the store and they replaced the value of it with no problem. Will be my first pick for OUAC ion the future.

I was treated with the utmost disrespect at the Ballwin, Mo location. Their policy for buying clothes is on first come first serve no appointment needed basis, but they will hold off on larger orders rather than finish them in a timely fashion. I arrived at 9:23 am, the store opened at 9. I ended up being there for 2 hours waiting on them to inspect one bag of clothing. After 2 hours, I was told they would only give me $26.00 for about 10-12 gap, Carter’s, and Ralph Lauren polo items. I was rushed out of the store after asking how much longer my buyback would be after being there an hour and a half already. No customer appreciation was shown or extended to me as a return customer as it was extended to other customers in line before me. I called the store after i left to try to speak with a manager. I was told that only “key holders” were present. I asked for a corporate number, and was told that the store is franchise owned, there are no managers, but the store owner would call me. I was presented with a very condescending tones and attitudes by an individual named Kaitlin(?). The owner Lauren called me the next day and tried to express how apologetic she was for the treatment in the store. All she did was make excuses as to why i was in the store so long and how they price their items. She said their behavior would be addressed, but there was no extension of an Olive branch for me to return to this location. This is the closest location to my house, but I’d rather go an extra 20 miles to St. Peter’s, or even take my children’s old clothes to the GoodWill rather than come to this location and be treated the way i have been.

I found that a lot of the items were a tad overpriced. Some of the items I was looking at would of been the same price buying brand new at Walmart or Target, so that was a bit disappointing. I am sure its better if you catch their sales and such...

I havent sold things here but buying has been rewarding. With 3 kids it can be frustrating to keep up with their sizes and styles, I never feel like I wasted my money at OUAC.

They recently moved to the northwestern corner of Ballwin Plaza. This is the place to re-sell your stuff in West Co the nearest thing like this is all the way in Kirkwood. So before you go to the Goodwill and give away your stuff away see if Once Upon a child will PURCHASE some of your old kids clothes and toys.
