Our 11 year old wants to start riding dirt bikes and we were told by a good friend to come here. Nick was a pleasure. He explained everything we needed to know about helmets, their safety features and how her helmet should fit along with her boots. And the staff when checking out was awesome. Everyone was polite and engaging with all of the customers. We will be back!

These guys are great. I drove an hour to visit the store. I was looking for a comfortable touring helmet for my BMW 1200 GT. They took the time to show me a range of options, fit me with a helmet and then install Bluetooth speakers for me. The customer service was second to none. These guys are knowledgeable and friendly. Well worth the trip.

Excellent customer service. Purchased heated gloves, 2 face shields for an old helmet, and a throttle cramp reliever. My Built helmet is 10 years old and they found me a clear and a smoked replacement shield. I was able to try on the gloves to get that perfect fit, discussed the installation of the electronics with a very knowledgeable rep, and signed up for and had applied to my purchase the military discount. I am a very satisfied customer and will be making future purchases here.

I really love this place. It has become a neighborhood fixture. A community Rock if you will. Because all the riders go here. Not just motorcycle riders. But there are loads of Downhill Skateboard racers that no doubt got their first set of leathers here, I know I did. I last went in here to check on crash vests. Very good selection. While here I also came across a variety of padded under shorts. I bought some a few years back and paid $120. CG has several to choose from for $50 and less! There are also aerodynamic back packs which are very cool. Staff is the best!

Rare is a retail experience exceptionally good. But today the Manager and employees at Cycle Gear Bakersfield treated us like we were the King and Queen of the world. My girlfriend was looking for a jacket that fit and we ended up with two helmets, two sets of gloves and a jacket just because of the customer service. Very very refreshing!!

DeAndre from the Bakersfield location is an awesome employee. He represents your company well. He spent 30 minutes with me answering all my questions and helped me find the right helmet, jacket, and gloves. Fantastic customer service.

Their having problems with there online delivery. Items say there delivered at the front desk but never show up.. They refunded me my money.

$50 for tire change if u bring ur own tire is the most Ive ever been quoted. Go to Rtillery, my tires were installed in 10 mins. Staff helped unload wheels & tires than loaded back in my trunk after job was done. I was charged less than $50, for 2 wheels

Went there for a headset installation and they refused to do it . And get this the gentleman says is your helmet new i say no. Ive had it for a couple weeks. He say we cant touch it do to covid19. Whats funny is the have people try helmets on and dont sell news one out of the box and you wont touch my helmet. Your people dont wear gloves. You dont wipe your helmets down. Or was it because you didnt make any money on it. Dor something i paid 500. Bucks for i would think taking care of a customer that always buy things from this store and others. Your loss not mine.

Didnt buy anything but they have a great variety and if youre looking for a new helmet dont go anywhere else people very helpful in the store and a wide variety of things for those of us that ride motorcycles

The customer service here has been phenomenal. I really enjoy going in here. Whether I need help being in at this sport/hobbies or returning an item, service has really been fantastic.The selection of their 2-3 cycle gear brands has been great. The selection of dianese or alpine start could stand to grow, but this is probably a circumstance of what people around here are able to afford.Great products even with their in house brands.

First time to cycle gear in 15 years Roy and the other gentleman were great. Answered all my questions, explained everything to me about the differences in helmets and jackets. Walked out with a great helmet and some knowledge. Totally recommend.

Service is always helpful and only ever had one issue with a return but due to my misunderstanding so no biggie. Only real negative things I can say is wish both the store was bigger (few locations in town would be awesome too) and that I had more money in wallet going in :D

They literally have everything you need there if you own a bike. Wouldve been 5 stars, but I took back some gloves that didnt feel right on my handle bars and I used my safety course discount so when I wanted to get another pair they wouldnt give me the discount on the new ones. First time riders beware. Theyll urge you to buy stuff you really dont need.

Very helpful staff. I got some tires & a helmet shield here recently & had a decent in-store experience. Only thing is that the tires took several days longer to install than expected, but I wasnt in a hurry for them anyways.

These guys are Lifesavers. I was going through town and discovered my tire was threadbare. One of their staff came and helped me assess the situation, and loaned me tools to get the tire off, and replaced the tire. Out the door for $250 including great service and new friends. Strongly recommend.

Ive been here several times to buy items because it is convenient. The customer service isnt that great. The girl that works there constantly seems like she hates her job. Very rude on multiple occasions!!!

Give a small tour inside the store ask for some advice and pick what im looking for... chat a lil always great brands and designs... Ive had nothing but good experiences at the Bakersfield Cycle Gear over the past year. The gear is always priced right and the guys have always taken the time to help me out when needed.

What a sad store! I have ridden to at least 10 cycle gears across the country. When ever I needed something or was in a jam the employees did everything they could to help knowing I was far from home and a loyal customer. Now that I am in the worse jam yet I run into the worse cycle gear yet. Not only would they not even try to help they gave half answers and seemed to busy to just say go to hell because thats how they acted. At least that way I would not stand around waiting for assistance. Maybe its just a Bakersfield CA thing. Either way I am hunting for a new place to buy my gear from on the west coast!

This store is a mess. Glove rack was a unmitigated disaster. No changing rooms to try on cycle pants. Merchandise stacked everywhere on the floor. The Cyclegear in San Luis Obispo is the ideal that the Bako store should strive for. This location needs new management and a larger space for all of the stock making the store look piled and misplaced.
