Nice and Clean . Lots of new Clothing stores. Love shopping here.

I was a walk in and was able to get right in and helped. The genius bar staff took my phone and gave me a time to return and pick it up. This gave time to ring a few errands before returning to pick up my phone. Much appreciated their efficiency and friendliness. 😀

The valley plaza and always have but I cant wait for you still reopen but you can get everything at valley plaza without having driving to the outlets the food Courts awesome and my favorite store believe it or not is Hot topic and Im 62 years old but Ive been taking myself in there 20 years they got some really cool one of a kind stuff!!

Prices may have skyrocketed since I was a kid but hey, what hasnt. At least they keep a good variety of shops so theres always some reason to go there. Too bad the food court isnt at capacity these days but most of the Stores stay open

First time there. My car came out so clean. This will be the place I take my car to get washed. Love it and good deals. New to the area. I was Recommended from this employer from riteaid. Very helpful... Im glad I went there.

Overall it’s pretty decent, I just recommend coming here during a week day because it can get really packed during the weekend.

A great place to stroll and get a little exercise, nice to have J C Penney, Macys and Target in one convenient place, but I miss Sears, RIP.

I like going there good customer service whenever I go.

Went to this mall recently and it was overly crowded when I went. It’s more like thousands of people from far away come to this mall to shop. Even worse, it’s the only mall in the area. If you want a nicer shopping experience, take the drive down the pass toward LA and you have thousands of malls to choose from.

Actually, my trip was to TARGET at the Valley Plaza Mall.TARGET is always an enjoyable experience for me when I go there to shop. It is almost never overcrowded- the stores are clean & tidy- the associates are friendly, helpful, and professional- they have an abundance of various items- their prices are comparable, and in some instances, BETTER than their competition- they stay open late enough for those of us who are night owls... LolOverall: I give TARGET 5 out of 5 and I RECOMMEND TARGET to anyone.

I shopped at cact eye which they have 3 amazing spots at the mall. Its alway the first place I spend my money at. Everything they sale is amazing and so cute I love shopping for jewelry’s and other goodies!!

Valley Plaza is home to many stores which makes shopping easier. It’s clean, ample parking and a Target. The one stop shopping is a plus in my book.

Valley Plaza Mall is a Bakersfield staple.. Been coming here since I was a kid... Always compared it to out of Town malls but valley plaza is adequate to say the least

Great location for weekend

Largest mall in Bakersfield California. This mall houses multiple shops. This mall is so clean and is near to public transport stand. This mall is well organized. If you want to cover full mall then you will have to spend minimum half a day. This mall has many eateries and they have spacious food Court too. Restrooms are clean. Air condition of this mall is good and gives much relief for shoppers from heat weather.

Coming from someone who has been an employee at more than one kiosk location in the mall, I just want to state that the theft in the mall is out of control. It has become such a ghetto environment. I personally do not go to the mall for a shopping experience, as I work in the mall but we see theft every single day and the mall security is basically there for show and does nothing to keep this issue under control. That mall needs actual law enforcement on duty, daily. It is extremely a nuisance to work there and I wouldnt go to shop either way not only due to just this issue but it is a BIG ONE.

Down most of last year. Really dont need to go there. sometimes maybe to pay my metro bill. Only 3 stars this time around.

Fairly clean place , usually crowded on the weekends It usually has some knuckleheads but for the most part security keeps it nice , the food court selection is pretty diverse nice atmosphere.

Albertsons has quality I love everything they sell everything is always very fresh. A lot of other supermarkets sell you food thats about to expired or no expiration date. And the employees are always very nice and will stop to help you.

Too many people. Way too expensive. Better to go to Walmart

Not people friendly. No place to sit and rest while your family continues shopping.It appears to suggest ( Quick, leave your money & Scram ). Dont get wrong this place used to be classy and a place where families could go to and shop, eat, relax and visit without feeling your being Jipped and rushed or herded to the food court where this is the only place to set.At one time this place had 3 to 4 very nice restaurants to have lunch or dinner, now its like you get served a salt lick and a trauf of water like your Cattle or something. Class and Family values were traded for Greed.

The ambience was kind of there and My suggestion is the store owners need to on purpose infuse more life into the place, give more incentives for folks to shop at their stores

The Valley Plaza has changed over the last decade bringing in new stores, brands and areas to appeal the public. The stores are kept clean and appeal to a variety of ages and demograpics. It is a great place to come walk are and get your steps in ot pick-up items you need from eeverday items @ Target, to prom dresses or even a bite to eat. The mall has a variety of sit down resturants to appeal to any palate ot quick snack bites to get you moving along with your shopping. there is a little of everything for everyone.

Fun mall and everyone there was so nice every single time Ive been there i get so many compliments by workers and passerbys and the stores are great love shopping here

Valley Plaza Mall is the home to many different shops and three restaurants. Currently due to Covid-19 the restaurants arent taking dine in customers and there are capacity lines to get in the shops. My daughters and I chose to wait in the lines of a few shops. Our favorites are Hot Topic and Box Lunch. The mall was clean, quiet, and well organized. The food court is only accepting take out orders, no dine in. There were only four places to choose from. We did our shopping, got something to eat and left. The employees were polite and professional. There was many open spaces to park in the parking lot. The parking lot was clean. Prices at the shops we chose to go in, were reasonable. Selection was good. It wasnt too crowded, Im sure due to the pandemic and the fact we visited in early afternoon. All in all it was a good visit to the mall.

Honestly this place is really good over all, and has good security.

Good place to shop and eat but only bad thing is needed more benches to sit and rest exspeacial when you bring a senior with you to go shopping 🛍to made there day! That be nices not just for seniors plus the disabled ♿people needs to rest as well

I recommend this mall because there are a lot of great stores! But the mall can become dirty (floors and bathroom floors, tables in food court were disgusting).

Hours are ridiculous. Individual stores may tell you theyve taken their last customer of the day 20 minutes before listed closing time. Especially Mainland. Done shopping there for good. Its happened multiple times.

What can I say about our mall good selection of stores the food places could be better. Hours need to be longer. They really need to have a special parking lots for all the people only there to meet up with the person having an affair with or buying their drugs from.

I recently went to Red Robin in the mall and I must say that the mall parking lots are very dirty, trash everywhere and the entrance of red robin outside the door has a very strong urine smell and is very filthy. I just think it is very uninviting compared to other malls outside of Bakersfield. Why not keep our community mall clean?

Pretty decent mall but takes a while to walk from one end to the other. They have my fav stores, Spencers and hot topic, plus a ton of everything else. Clothes, jewelry, a hippy shop, and a decent food court with lots of little food places spread throughout the entire mall, as well as a few restaurants. Also a bunch of stores and eateries around the mall, then the theater too.

Always have a good time when I come here with the family. Very clean and well taken care of.

Great customer service & most importantly they are following covid -19 guide lines everyone wearing masks 😷

Great mall, have kids play area, many games for kids. The main attraction for kids is the Train 🚂 “Polo Express”. Many more to do in this great mall in Bakersfield next to 99 fwy. The mall is very big with almost all brands and huge stores like Apple, Payless, Macy’s, J C Penney’s, Hollister many many more even Target, Sears, Old Navy etc etc. Many store have lots of sales and also have small stores all through the mall with Massage places, horses for kids, small car rides etc. the mall have multiple entrances and very big food court. Most important is photo with Santa time, there is very photo shooting session with Santa opp to J C Penny’s store there is a cost to each pic but totally worth it.

Very interesting there a lot happens but employees are helpful and its nice and clean

This has a bunch of different stores and activities to do and a lot of clothing stores. Theres a food court and drinking places like jamba juice. There is a little train that goes around the mall. Its cool you should try it!

Love it here! They have so many stores. Plus they have a cinnabun which is why I even go to the mall lol. parking usually does suck but other than that they have a great variety on stuff.
