Clean store. Love there asada fries

First time coming here. They have a variety of stuff. The store was super clean. I just purchased some produce & some tea leches cake. Everything was good. Employees were friendly as well.

I come here for bread and dinner rolls often and once in a while for the meat department. Their meat is the best!

Clean as expected smart move owner putting meat store in Rosedale but if you want same quality half price grab your glock head to east side .

I will share that I dont barbeque and I know little about different cuts of meat.For this review, I am relying heavily on my husband for the information and rating given. His rating is based primarily on the pricing.My husband bought 4.30 lbs of chorizo priced at $16.31 , 3.39 lbs of cornish gamehen priced at $23.76, and 5.39 lbs of seasoned carne asada priced at $30.59. See attached pictures.I am more familiar with the location on Harris; but again, I dont play close attention to prices. I simply buy it. I sent provide a true review on the quality vs. price and whether its a good deal.I still hope this review is somewhat helpful.

Rude Butchers!!!! I go there often but you need to get butchers that are not rude. Your meat is good but your butchers are rude!!! I would give you a five but your butchers are so rude. However, your ladies both at the register, fruit stand and La Lonchera are kind and respectful! Great tacos there !

Great place! Hot food, juice bar, grocery store with over the counter meat department. Lots of rubs and spices. Beer and wine.

The place looks clean.

There are some rude butchers. One guy in particular, didnt catch his name, literally looked annoyed and upset when I asked for him to season my ribeyes (which are expensive there). Little things like not wanting to season a ribeye that is already overpriced can become the downfall of an establishment, and the owners should have talks with their butchers regarding their manners. Will be shopping at la chuleta from now on and I would recommend everyone else does as well (cheaper, better meat, friendlier service).

I had accidentally left a poor review for this place. Please accept my apology. This store is so clean, neat and organized I cant ever recall seeing anything comparable. The butcher has pefercted his trade here because the cuts of meat are perfectly carved. The poor review was intended for the Mexican restaurant on the other end of the shopping center. Not this place.

I bought two pounds of carne asada and it was almost inedible. So much fat and connective tissue but the flavor was at least good but most had to be spit out because I couldn’t chew it up. I was expecting way better since the reviews were so good but it was trash. The habenero salsa was good and it was spicy.Really cheap poor cuts of meat. Would not recommend.

Great butcher. The marinated chicken and al pastor is excellent. The red salsa is the best I have had. We love it. Just wish I had the recipe. Service is great. Great selection and good prices.

Been there several times for meat and Mexican food products but this time just sopas cups and a container of onions and cilantro that we add to our homemade posole!

This place used to be a hidden gem. I guess word has spread fast because its busier and busier each time I go. Dont worry if it may seem crowded, the butchers are quick and helpful. I usually pick up Ceviche and New Yorks when we go
