I asked for assistance in the cosmetics dpt for 2 items. The employee was very nice in assisting in opening the cabinet and taking the two items to the checkout lanes. When arriving at the check out lane approximately 15 minutes later, only one of the items could be found. Very poor service.

Not well-stocked with International Delight coffee creamer Chocolate Caramel flavor and missing price tags on the fat-free milk for Great Value brand and The Produced brand.

Average store. Parking lot is confusing. Employees didnt acknowledge me as a customer. Absolutely no eye contact or any greeting.

Pretty clean, hardly ever super busy, and lines are shorter due to self checkout, which might account for the ease of shopping.If you dont want to grocery shop hungry, there is Taco Bell, Panda Express, and Jack in the Box in connected parking lots.The employees are super helpful and friendly.

It was alright, there was some really nice employees but I gave it a 4 star rating only because some cashiers are slow which makes a long line for the customers and starts to get crowded but other than that my experience was all good.

I’ll usually go here if it’s just a quick trip. It usually has what I’m looking for but using the Walmart app really helps. And items are where they say they are on the app so it helps find things a lot faster. Finding a parking space when I went it looked to be really busy because I had to do a few circles but once I went in there wasn’t many people inside so that was great!

I like that its close to my house. Its clean but wish theyd clean their floors during night hours. My wife and I went early and waited about 5 minutes because to our surprise they open at 7am not 6am like their big store. AnywaysMany years ago I was attacked and to these days I continue to relive that incident. Sometimes I get these attacks that no one can perceive but when they happen momentumiously Im left in pain dizzy and confused.The machine they use to clean the floors was coming around a corner at the exact moment as I was walking by.It stopped when it noticed me but I stopped after I hit it with my tibia.As I said I have this condition that strikes at anytime. No warnings. That day when it came on me I was disoriented.I just wish they clean their floors during the nightI felt in danger insecure thinking that I was going to get run over by itYes now, I know that its not possible but for a few seconds I was horrified

Has almost everything a super Wal-Mart grocery section has. Very convenient for where I live, or those in the Southeast part of town.

I always order pickup at this location and have great experiences in the past. Unfortunately today I picked up an order and came home to seeing the strawberries were rotten. They actually have mold. Normally I would have let this bad experience go because of how great all the other times are but these strawberries are in terrible condition its not hard to notice. Extremely disappointed.

Don’t do grocery pick up here, they take a long time and serve other people that just show up and leave you waiting there. Waited an hour and still nothing as I’m typing this review

It has been well over 2 years ago that I had actually been in one , until that day . Ive never been in one in California before because I lived in Arkansas. It was very easy to find what I was looking for but thats because I was shopping with my sister.

Products and prices no problem at all. The problem is that they open one or two registers only.

I thought it would be a great and safe place to go for a quick shop by home but nope, its just as ghetto as the other walmarts, all its missing is the dudes in the parking lot selling bootleg DvDs.

Doesnt carry all the items I want and the checkout lines are terrible.

Quick stop on the way out of town, we grabbed some snacks here, everything was well organized, the staff were friendly, I had a pleasant shopping experience.

This is turning into the worst retail company in Bakersfield and it doesnt matter which one you attend! On popular items they are continually out of stock with excuses. Yes they appear to have a great deal on the shelves but much of it customers are not interested in, which is why its still in stock. But go there for any typical popular item & its hit or miss. GO to Target or kohls.

Clean, still almost new smelling. Except I ran in once to use the restroom, literally running to the toilet. Then it hits me as Im sitting there enjoying my pee that *dundundun* I forgot my mask. As I hurry to wash my hands to run out of there faster than I ran in, becuz of me regarding my mask. A manager stopped me to tell me I had to leave the store immediately 😡. I WAS RUNNING TO LEAVE, & she had to stop me still. Lol. Covid gave to many people(aka non managers, everyday people,anyone!) feeling of what actual managers should be doing.Stores great!

My first time here I was shopping for trash bags and a man with a cart full of alcohol left via the fire exit to a car waiting outside. IT HAS BECOME MORE DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER MY CART DOWN CROWDED ROWS! The staff is very helpful,but the shoppers for phone orders take up a lot of the floor area,and it seems that floor area has been taken away and limits my access ability to movement in store! I have been looking for a more spacious floor space grocery,i.e.Food Max !! I like Walmart because it is close to my home,less than a mile! Mrs.Gwenda Jones

I liked it. Instead of loved it because everything was at a reasonable price. The employees were very helpful and kind. But, the only set back was they didnt have a certain product that I was looking for. All of the other WAL-MARTS had this product. But, I was wondering, why didnt this one have it?

Its nice to not wait in the normal Walmart check out line thats always 10 to 15 minutes at Walmart mall view store in east Bakersfield. Ps, add 30 minutes MiNiMuM more if your need of something from bicycle lock up came. ALWAYS A HASSLE AT EAST HILLS, ALWAYS!!!

I went yesterday some lady didnt have 1. 05 to pay with her toddler and they literally acted like if she was a criminal. I offered to help but she said no thank you. I over hear this white, chuncky lady say are you going to pay for that kids food all messed up. She only had a pear and her mouth 🙄 and basically said shell take it away. My brother and i were more embarrassed about the situation for just being there 😕

Needs better management. Ive had trouble with Walmart Pay, gift cards, in store pick up. If its anything past just scanning an item theres issues. Store is constantly full of employees restocking well.. pretending to as they leave pallets of merchandise blocking shelves and during heavy traffic times. Deli is rarely staffed. Just needs management

This Walmart location was great so close to where we stayed on our trip to Bakersfield. The store was clean and stocked the associates very friendly. We had to push a button to get some makeup that was locked up but the associate came within seconds and was very patient and friendly. The cold beverage area had a great selection and not just of water and soda we even had teas and other healthy choices. Parking was great and properly marked. Food in the fresh areas looked good and crisp. Since we dont live in California we had to have the cashier explain to us about the tax on the items we purchased which she was more than happy to do. Nice place .

For being a grocery store, this place is nice. I enjoy the self checkout when Im just grabbing last minute dinner ideas, but I really enjoy the curb side pick up. My orders are always right. Great job people, keep it up.

Everyone should know that you will not be able to make any returns or exchange at Walmart tell future notice so if you plan to buy something from Walmart that need a warranty I would wait. Tell they put there return policy back. If you are also going to this location. I would call and make sure they have bags because the last three times I went they were out of bag at the check out.

It is a pretty good place. I am just so confused. I went to get Valentines gifts the other day and there was nothing. The crazy part was that they only had Easter candy. Other than that it is a good place that i will definitely go to again.

I waited over an hour and a half to get my order, people that pulled up on the curb was able to get there order and leave that didnt even park in the pick up area I will never go to this location again!!!
