Ronda Lemons is the best hat shaper on the planet. You cannot do it yourself this well I promise you. The WHOLE staff are so fun and sweet and the selection is borderline hilarious. They have everything. Dont go to corpo b.s. sellout stores that rhyme with scoot farm. Dont do it. Dont be dumb. Go to emporium and give them all your money cause they deserve it.

Got my hubby a new cowboy for our nieces wedding. Always loved this place, folks are still nice as could be! I think the gals name was Teresa? Anyway Talked each others ear off! Haha. She was very helpful and so very nice!! She has brown hair and glasses uf that helps. :)

Really nice western store once visited by George Strait. But it is VERY expensive.

Some staff was very helpful and accommodating, other staff members were not. They have a good selection of boots and western wear including hats and accessories for both men and women, they have a small section for children as well. Prices are average but it’s a local family owned business so I will be shopping here vs. online.

Went in there today to buy my wife some boots and outfit for Valentines day. The lady that helped us was very rude and watched me and my granddaughter like we were going to steal something. The gentleman that was working was helping someone else but seemed nice even said hi to my granddaughter. I went in there a year ago now i remember why i didnt buy anything then . We always try to buy local but its hard when youre treated like this. We went to Boot Barn and bought boots and paints. Would not recommend this place.

My friend and I are from LA and the Emporium Westerns authentic Country vibe seemed like a fun place to check out. The staff was very attentive. Two ladies greeted us on entering; they occasionally followed us around the store, asking us if we needed any help (one of them jokingly admitted that they could not resist following us around and that we would just have to get used to it).My friend bought a cool Western Jacket and a dress that was on clearance. She didnt have time to try on the dress and, although all items on clearance were final and not returnable, the lady told my friend she could go home to try on the dress at her leisure and return it later in the week if it didnt fit her.And when we were outside waiting for our Uber (it was nearly 8 pm and getting dark), one of the ladies offered to let us wait inside (although they were closing) because she warned us that its not the kind of neighborhood where one wants to be on the streets after dark.

Bakersfields best western clothing store...great service and high quality merchandise. I had a couple hats cleaned and blocked too. Just like going in there...

Travelled 3 hours out of way for this shop and I’m very disappointed! Firstly one of the store ladies wouldn’t stop staring at my girlfriend which made her feel very very uncomfortable as she has her hearing aids on show and so it’s very rude to stare!! And secondly, they followed us around the shop, and giving up blunt answers when we asked questions. My family and friends are well into this kind of store and I’ll be sure to give them my opinion of this store as I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Only good thing was a high range of cowboy boots. That’s it.

Great place!! I will try to go in order, 1. Easy to find, and has good parking. 2. Clean and organized. 3. Friendly staff! 4. Swell selection of goods. High quality clothing, boots, hats, belts, bucklles, wallets, FR work uniform clothing, and much more. It was truly a country store filled with high quality country western goods. Prices are acceptable for the quality of items. THEY OFFER LAY AWAY!!!(I went in for boots and a hat, and my total came to about $375. I put down 20% which was about $60. They ask you to pay off your items by 3 months. They ask that you make at least 1 payment of any amount each month. Well for my specific transaction, I only have to pay $20 a week (if I want to go that route) and my itmes will be payed off in 3 months. OR you can pay as much or as little as often as you want.
