It was my first time visiting and I loved my experience. Bruce, one of the owners, was absolutely gracious with his time and very patient and kind in explaining things and in just letting my wife and I browse. We will definitely be back.

I could totally spend an entire day at this tiny little space absolutely crammed to the ceiling with any and everything you need in the way fortune telling, witches, magic spells etc. This literally came HIGHLY recommended by my oldest Daughter I affectionately call Bowel. Theres candles books and Tarot cards galore. Just check them out, They can show better than I can tell you!

Abysmal customer service. Staff were extremely combative with a close friend of mine whos indigenous. Slurs and cussing were used. From the second she walked in the man at the counter treated her like a dog. Very rude and unwelcoming.. If you sell first nation products... And are abusive to those people. Youre not welcome in the spiritual community. You make money off indigenous products but abuse those customers??? Talk about bad karmic energy. Low class.

I have been going to enchanted cottage since 2016. This place almost wraps a warm blanket around you when you walk in. The atomshere is beyond uplifting and the Owners Bruce ans Stan are such beautiful souls. I do not know what I would do without this place. They have amazing events and the readers are wonderful. Marcia is my go to reader when my vibrations feel low and when life is challenging me. She is beyond accurate and she really connects during readings. I simply love all these magical souls at Enchanted Cottage. Id say 10 stars but i am only allowed 5.

This is the best place in town to go for anything witchy. They try very hard to learn everyone’s name and it feels like they really want to know you. The are always nice and respectful and anyone who says otherwise I genuinely believe are just trying to cause trouble. Go try them out they are wonderful people.

This is hands down my favorite shop I have visited in California. My boyfriend and I came in from San Diego for business and I made him take me here 😜 he was going to wait in the car with our dog, but the owner informed me he was dog friendly, and helped my “muggle” boyfriend pick out his first crystal of his own!! I got several amazing crystals as well as a book for a great price. The owners made the experience great and I can’t wait to come back.

Today was my first time checking out enchanted cottage (metaphysical store in general); when I arrived, we were asked to hand sanitize our hands and wait outside since the store was at capacity (love the owners for following guidelines! Keeps them safe and us!) once we were brought in I was able to look at so many different crystals! They seriously have such a big selection of crystals, and they also have a description explaining what the crystal does (so helpful!); there was a mom and her children there, and they were so kind to package the kid(s) with paper of their color choice as one of the kids it was their bday! Once we were ready to pay, they packaged my crystals and also tossed in a gift (an extra crystal). I seriously love this place and love the owners! I can tell they genuinely enjoy working there; they’re very patient and willing to give advice. I will be back! (Soon)

This little shop is special and sentimental to my heart. I was frustrated one day and went in for some help/guidance. I explained my situation and the gentleman behind the counter listened and then gently said let it find you as he was pointing at the stones and crystals. It was a magical moment and IT worked!!! I love this place and recommend it to everyone.

My first time shopping here unfortunately was during the Corona virus pandemic, so I was only able to do online shopping with curbside pick up. However, that being said, the owner bagged up my items so very nicely, you could tell taking time with each item I purchased and then also leaving me a nice note in with my purchases. Such a nice surprise when we were in a time of not getting to mingle with people or shop in stores!!! Will definitely shop here again!!!

It was Veterans day..omw back from LA & all my children and I could think about was purchasing crystals. I checked online and we stopped by. Loved it because we were able to shop before they closed. We were not rushed and received some education as well. Great collection of crystals..esp if you are just starting out and are buying like, your first crystals. I live in Oregon and Enchanted Cottage is the best metaphysical store I have ever visited. I have checked out as many stores as possible throughout my travels, and I can truthfully say that this place is the best. The guys work very hard to make sure all of their customers are greeted and helped. I have never experienced such excellent customer service and they always carry the best of products. I have experienced their psychics as well and have never been disappointed. The energy generated at Enchanted Cottage is very powerful and very positive and loving. I love this place! I have seen some negative reviews and all I can say is that they have never experienced Enchanted Cottage or theyre just jealous people. Enchanted Cottage is such a huge plus for its community. I wish we had such a great place up here in Oregon.

The cottage has an Amazing stone assortment. All sorts of sage and incense. An assortment of books on all different spiritual paths. They have statues, singing bowls, bells, Beautiful hand made jewelry, a candle bar, oils, classes, and a wealth of knowledge. But none of that compares to the amazing energy of the cottage. Its name says it all...its very Enchanting. Find your path, find your peace. When I moved to Bakersfield I didnt know a soul here, but quickly found some family within the Enchanted Cottage.

Beautiful small store in a homely environment. Easy access but inside is a tad small so not able to hold a big crowd at once. Has all types of stones, crystals, incense and other witch type accessories. Staff is wonderful with warm welcomes! I will definitely be back there soon!

One of the most fantastic place in Bakersfield if your looking for an open minded experience. They have everything from candles to tarot cards, from crystals to books. Theres classes in wire wrapping and on a full moon they have gatherings. I have to say I love the place and the owners are wonderful. They make their own candles and have card readings too. Always welcoming! Bruce and Stan are helpful and kind, which is hard to find. If ever you have questions the are always willing to help. Very calm environment and energies are just the right balance. Very fair on pricing and I love their sales! Personally only been to the seances, but I highly recommend them at least once. All my candles, herbs, and stones come from here now and I would not have it any other way. I love knowing that I can get whatever I need. They are not about making a quick sale, but keeping customers happy and coming back, which is much appreciated!

This is more than a store. This is a place for people to find fellowship and camaraderie. The items that they have available are a bonus. The amount of devotion and care that Bruce and Stan give to the people that frequent this long standing establishment is amazing. As a person that calls the cottage a home away from home I can say that while Enchanted Cottage may not be the only place to purchase candles, crystals and stones. It is the only place that you should.

My wife and I have been going to Enchanted Cottage now for 5 years and we absolutely love it. The owners Stan and Bruce do all that they can going above and beyond for each customer that walks through their door. They also have the best and most ethical readers in town. They do all they can to give back to the community. Every year they have their mystic fair which gets bigger and better every year, and this year they are having their first annual Pagan Festival which I will be attending and watching all their big name gust speakers. So those are some of the reasons I give them a 5☆ there are about 100 more reasons to list.

I have been to many metaphysical bookstores in my day. I am constantly looking for new ones, occasionally visiting ones I like when I can. Few compare to the Enchanted Cottage. How lucky am I that it is in my city? The cottage is far more than a retail shop that sells wonderful books as well as a varied array of items and tools to suit your spiritual needs. The owners, Stan and Bruce, have created an atmosphere that is warm, loving, and accepting. It is peaceful. There is a small yard to walk around and many places to sit and relax. I could go on forever but I wont. I will only encourage you to stop in and see them. Youll be glad you did.

I went today for the first time and definitely want to go back. It smells nice in every room and has such nice energy. A large selection of oils, incense and candles. The book collection and tarot card collection are a little small but its okay. I would be visiting again soon! Oh! Also they have a membership where you spend $100 and get $5 credit that doesnt expire. Not bad at all.

The Enchanted Cottage is the best metaphysical book and supply store I have been to in a long time. They have a huge selection of tools and ingredients for every spiritual path, and the owners are tremendously encouraging and experienced. The store itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with a reading room and shady outdoor patio where people often gather as a community. There are public rituals held on the full moons and major holidays, as well as meetings on Sundays of the local Pagan Circle. The owners are very much interested in supporting local artists, often showcasing pieces from members of the community, as well as stocking more commercially available merchandise at competitive prices. They often say that they are guided by Spirit, but that doesnt mean that they dont also listen to the interests of their customers. Drop in and see for yourself. You wont be disappointed.

My official happy place in Bakersfield. Ive purchased everything from candles (all sizes!) and candle holders, to leather bound journals, as well as crystals, herbs, and plenty of sage. Everything has been amazing additions to my metaphysical wall in my bedroom. The store itself is THE cutest little cottage split up into a few different rooms (main room, candles/herbs section, and a back room filled with books and statues and more). Best part of all are the owners and staff. I got to talking with one of the owners after they lost their beloved dog and he just had this energy and aura around him that I found extremely soothing even during a time of grief, which says a lot. Great people running a great business ❤

Ive been a customer of The Cottage for awhile but have really been committed to my spiritual journey a lot more in the past year. I frequent the store at least once a week for supplies. They have quality candles, crystals and things I need regularly. Ive come to know Stan and Bruce, the owners very well. They always make me feel welcome. They are genuinely good people. I take my children there with me often and love that Stan and Bruce take the time to talk to them and take interest in them. Ive become very close to one of the readers there, Tomi. Not only is she extremely gifted (all the readers there are) but shes become my friend and has helped through a lot of things this past year. Thanks to her gifts and Spirit Ive been put on my path with guidance.Ive attended many classes and full moon rituals there. They put on a yearly Psychic Fair and this year is was amazing! All these events and classes are open to the community.The Enchanted Cottage also offers a Candle Bar where Stan and the client together make a personalized candle to fit their needs. There are many books, oils, incense, sages, large selection of crystals, tarot cards, jewelry made by local talents and so many unique items. Every time I go..which is a lot, I always see something new. They have added new features to the shop this year like Aura readings and Reiki. I love that they are committed to growing and expanding.The owners have worked very hard to make the backyard and patio beautiful and inviting.I feel at home here. At ease. When I need to feel centered, I go there. The smell alone as I walk through the door is comfort to me.I have a lot of respect and admiration for Stan and Bruce. They work hard to build their business and are helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I thank them for all they do. Their store has made it possible for me seek what Ive needed in my life.

Fell in love with this place the first time I entered it. My stress instantly decreased and I felt like I found my second home. I love everything about this place. They are so welcoming to their customers whether they purchase anything or not. If you love stones, crystals and other energy working tools, they have the largest selection in town. From $1.50 and up, they pretty much have it all. Some stones can be expensive, but you just cant find them anywhere. Quality stones are obviously more expensive than the run of the mill stuff other places may carry. I love their products, prices, energy and especially the people who own it and the others that work there.

Its a small, nice, cute little place. They have a lot of things I couldnt find in other places. I love walking in there, because its so peaceful and it smells so good in there. I love it. I would give it 5 stars but I wont because I dont like the owners attitude. It seems like hes always in a bad mood. Theres a younger guy that works there and he is very sweet and friendly. I wish he was there all the time but unfortunately hes not.
