Bought multiple products from Steve including 2 bumpers and a lift kit for a 1998 Nissan Frontier. Had no real issues with anything. They were all shipped within decent time. I picked up the lift kit from them personally since I was in the area. Now I’ve had the lift kit for about a year now and had an issue with one of the shocks malfunctioning and breaking but I emailed Steve and he was able to get me a new shock within 3 days and was very helpful with the whole situation. Thanks again Steve, I appreciate the hospitality

I do Not usually leave negative reviews. I hope this will help anyone else before you hand this place a dime for a special order. It has been 8 months that we have been getting the run around on a lift kit we ordered and paid for in full, which was required to order. Every time we call we are told Steve will call us back…When a refund was asked, Steve gave my boyfriend a story of why we could not. We used a debit card instead of a credit card so a charge back was not an option, we are looking into legal counsel now. We now feel like this has not been an experience with bad business rather, theft.

Excellent service, friendly people and work performed is top notch. Bought a Cali mini 3inch lift for my 2000 Nissan Frontier, also had them install it. Very happy with equipment and install. I can’t not thank them enough. I definitely would recommend them. Steve is a real down to earth guy.

Placed order then canceled after reading all the reviews mentioning the same lies they told me. Will not take any payment system that allows you to get your money back when they do not deliver. This place is a RIP OFF that preys on online shoppers. After I asked about all the negative reviews Steve claimed they were all over two years old and they were fault of old manager and since I asked he would only except certified funds from me not through any payment apps so he would be free to steal my money. His complaints start three months ago and go back ten years. He has a F rating from the BBB and is under investigation from local law enforcement. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I purchased my 3 inch lift for a 99 frontier in October 25 2020 before i purchased I told them I needed it before December 19 and they said you will have it by then. The date is getting closer and closer and I still haven’t received anything I call and call and ask for a tracking number or an order update and all I get is let me check up on it and to my surprise the said someone will call you today. I’d wait a week before calling back and they would do the same thing. At the end of the day I really got tired of this and asked for a refund and they said I’d have to talk to the person who sold it to me and he was supposedly always in a meeting. I gave up an said they stole my money. January comes by and surprised I come home to my lift kit on my front porch I finally received it after 3 months. I believe this company has the potential to be better and have better customer service their product it great they just lack honesty and communication. I’d recommend buying else where other companies don’t give this many headaches.

Purchased a 3” suspension lift for a 2017 Nissan Armada. While the shipping date was pushed back about three weeks from the original date, the product is great. I was able to install this with some help from a friend from a shop floor. The vehicle has maintained its luxury ride while looking fantastic! I will buy another if the application fits.

2nd UPDATE: Its been over 9 months and Calmini never sent me the part I ordered which were sway bar extensions for the lift I have. Find yourself another aftermarket vendor. If you have a Nissan, check out 4x4parts.com and Bandit 4x4. Ive been buying parts from them for many years and in 2021. Both have been responsive.Ive used Calmini in previous years and have been pleased with the service. Ive been driving my modified Xterra for 17 years. Unfortunately, it seems like Calminis customer service and commitment to delivering product in a timely manner has declined. Like many others, I cant seem to get a decent delivery date. Actually, I cant get a reliable response either. One week, my part is at powder coat and will be out by the end of the week. The next week, nobody called me back. The voice mailbox is full. I cant wait to see what theyll say now after I emailed them asking for order status.UPDATE: Never received a response to my email. Finally talked to Kyle today who said the item was on backorder and had no idea when they are going to have it. Ok, so why doesnt Calmini communicate this to the customer? Its obvious at this point that Calmini has major customer service issues. Zero follow up and poor timelines. It could be weeks or months before you get a part. When customers are your bread and butter, it pays to communicate well and have good customer service. They could easily add to their website if products are backordered a specific amount of weeks. Having no timeline is unacceptable, from an operational standpoint. Im very disappointed in the decline in this company. :(

Order a lift for my Isuzu rodeo spent a lot of money waited a month never Heard or seen anything from them called Justin and was told just wait on a few more this for the lift and we will have it sent out. After 3 months of hearing that I asked to be refunded my money I have never received my money back and every time I called Justin about getting my money back I got the same run around like getting my lift....I would advise anyone to never use this place

Reviews pretty much sum it up. They list products for sale on their site, but you will be lucky if you get what you purchased anytime soon. Delays can be as long as 6 months to a year, even for simple things such as shocks.I was told by Justin my order was on 1-2 week back order. Nearly 4 months later, and excuse after excuse, I just cancelled and went to another vendor.I am honestly surprised they have lasted this long. I first ordered from Calmini about 15 years ago, and their customer service and product fulfillment sucked then. Decided to try and give them another shot. Decade-and-a-half later, same story. BBB now has 111 complaints filed against them.Better off going someplace else.Update: Cancelled my order with Calmini on Monday. Ordered from a competitor on same Monday. They shipped on Tuesday. Received product today, Friday. So, other vendor I got my items in 5 days total. Calmini… 4 MONTHS and nothing. The choice is yours.

I placed an order with this company and when I received the confirmation it said I would be receiving a call. I never received a call so I called during there business hours. No answer and no answering/voicemail service. Just the standard automated (this person has a voice mailbox that has not been set up yet goodby) so I was unable to leave a message. This made me concerned. How to you have a business and not have something that says thank you for calling Calmini were unable to get to the phone... Because of this I started to do some research and discovered all the bad things people had to say about Calmini. To be on the safe side I emailed Calmini that I wanted to cancel my order and called my credit card company to start a dispute. Three business days latter I did receive a call from Calmini. The guy was very angry and rude. He was complaining that I jumped the gun on the refund through my credit card company and did not give him enough time to issue a refund. Im not so certain if I had not contacted my credit card company if I would of ever heard from him. He informed me that none of the parts I ordered are in stock and has about a 30 day lead time. This should be clearly stated in the website. He told me that I should not live my life based off of what people say on the Internet that the reviews are not true. I clearly do not because I would have never placed the order if I had read what the reviews on the Internet had to say about Calmini. After a few more minutes of him scalding me on canceling my order the conversation was over. His demeanor on the phone confirmed that what I had read was true.

Local shop , made in the USA, quality parts , honest had working ma and pop business that’s been around for a while so they must be doing something right. They helped me with my 2002 Nissan Frontier , 3” suspension lift , 3” body lift, running 33” x 10.5 Baja claws on 15” wheels , everything fit like a charm and looks like a charm. I recommend anyone that wants to customize “lift” their Nissan to use Calimini parts because in my opinion they are the best, I’ve had my truck since new and Ive had my truck lifted with Calimini parts since 2002 and the only issue I had was I had to replace the front shocks 1 time and they gave me replacements for free , you can’t beat that kind of customer service anywhere these days.

If you want to waste your money and your time buy from Calmini.I liked the looks of the Suzuki samurai tin top rack they sell so I decided to drop $570 on it.I was told it would take 5-6 weeks to build and get shipped out and told them I needed it buy a certain day About 8 weeks out and was guaranteed I would have it well before then. 6 weeks go buy and I haven’t heard a word from them. So I call them up and speak to JUSTIN. (Seems like everyone deals with this idiot and has the same problem as me, read other people’s review) but basically he told me it was still in powder coating and my rack would be shipped out in two days. Two days go by and I haven’t received a tracking number so I call him up again and get told the exact same thing, that my rack was still in powder coating. So I give them another two days and call back again. This time I’m getting frustrated because I’m about to go on a month long road trip in my Zuki and can’t really go without the rack I was expecting so I ask to speak to his manager.The manager told me the rack was still three weeks out! So I told them I want my money back and the manager said I’m he will have Justin issue a refund.Now every time I call they act like they don’t know what I’m talking about, and they don’t respond to my emails.So basically don’t waste your money or you’ll be like me and everybody else on here crying wishing you hadn’t gotten ripped off

Ordered kit in March 2019. Was told it would take a couple of weeks and that they would charge my card when it shipped. Card was then charged half of the purchase price immediately. Order never came. Multiple calls to the company resulted in multiple excuses as to why the parts had not been shipped (including we are waiting on some parts to we are waiting on power coating). Finally asked for a refund and then we never heard from them again. Ended up getting our money back by disputing the charges on my credit card.

They said they are making it and it should be shipped any day now. Two more weeks, nothing. I call again, yes almost there, shipping it any day now. Nothing. Two more weeks. Oh yes, it is being powder coated. No apology for being late. Two weeks later, still nothing. Enough B.S, just refund my money. March 25th, you will getting a refund in 5 to 7 business days. One month later (April 26th, 2019), still no refund.

The bumper I got is great quality and perfect fit. Customer service on the other hand was as bad as Ive experienced anywhere. I ordered and paid for the bumper in August anticipating a 4 to 5 week build schedule as I was told at the time of order. I actually picked it up in December after numerous phone calls and emails. Two weeks passed so i called again. Product still on backorder, now no date of arrival.After placing my initial order, i was never contacted by this company and both times i called, my only options were : wait indefinitely without communication, or cancel the order. Do not use. Ordered from them never even sent an invoice. They were quick to take your money but cant even return a call. Heard every excuse possible from their customer service. Once shipped after 6 months they didnt even send all the parts. 9 months later still dont have the remaining parts. Asked for a refund on the remaining parts and was offered a fraction of what it would cost to source these parts on my own.

I originally had a few similar issues that others have talked about in the reviews. Ultimately, Calmini came through with everything I ordered and the quality of their products is unparalleled. I think people should remember that they’re building custom parts for trucks that aren’t as common as F150s and Silverados, and they are made in California. So go order your eBay p.o.s. parts.You’ll regret it. I’ll always get my Nissan parts from Calmini. I’ve rebuilt my whole front end with Calmini and some Moog bits and it is better than new. Don’t believe all you read.These guys have been doing this along time, and there parts show it.

I received half of my order after 6 months and now its going to be 9 months without receiving the other half. Called them many times and just keep getting lied too. Updated: Its now been over 6 MONTHS that CalMini has had my money, and the order is not complete YET!! The 1st shipment was the only stuff that they actually manufacture in house. The rest of it is 3rd party. Ive received 3 shipments, and there is still a significant number of parts missing. Makes me wonder if a class action lawsuit is in order!!! I know there are many unhappy customers out there that have been screwed over by CALMINI!!!Terrible customer service. They’ve had my money for 3 months now, and I’ve still not received my kit. There product may be good, but that’s still to be determined. The initial projection for shipment of my kit was 30 to 40 days. It’s been 90. Numerous calls, and the same answer. “We are backlogged. Your order will be shipped in the next week.” The only problem is, which week!!! Very dissatisfied with the service. Hopefully the kit will be MUCH better than their customer service.

Avoid at all costs, especially if working with them. I made the mistake of helping their YouTube channel, and found myself extremely disappointed with the way they do business and their products. Their office was filthy and disorganized, as if its any wonder why they have problems shipping parts. The entire time phones kept ringing about missing part orders and improper install issues.If youre a freelance content creator looking for a gig, I highly suggest elsewhere. If youre an off-roader who wants a lift kit, it could be a while (if ever) before you get your order from them.Calmini is just another bump in the road to steer clear of. Avoid these guys!! I ordered a lift kit and a set of shocks 4 months ago and have not received them yet. After 8 weeks I started calling once or twice a week trying to get my order, or a refund, with no success. So, 16 weeks later I have no lift kit and have not been able to get my money back. After all the reviews I have read i am really suprised this company is still in business. My company purchaced a front and rear bumper from this company the end of Feb 2019. I recieved and email with expected time frame of 4 to 7 weeks since they are made to order. We paid for them up front and waited. Once we got to the 7 week deadline I sent an email. Waited a week with no response. Made a phone call, was told the front bumper was ready and they were waiting for powder coating on the rear bumper. Waited another week so now were are at 9 weeks, called back still got the same answer, I informed them thats what they said last week. I waited for someone to call me back. Another week goes by nothing. Noone calls back, noone knows whats going on . Here we sit waiting for bumpers and its May 21st. I will never do business again with this company

I ordered a suspension for a Nissan Frontier and talked to Justin on September 19th, 2018 and he said no more than 7 business days and after 10 days I called and he gave me the same excuse every week I’d call, and after 8 weeks and called again and he asked me to ask my customer if he’d still want the suspension after charging me and wasting more than my time. Only lies and bs is what this place is about. The WORST place for ordering.I highly recommend this place is you’d love to waste your time and get lied to all the time and get the same excuse week after week after it’s promised no more than 7 business days. Worst company I’ve ever conducted business with! These people do not care about their customers and I have changed all future plans of completing my project with their parts. I ordered a suspension lift . I was given the run around for weeks and when my parts finally shipped 3-4 weeks after what was projected I was missing half my order. How am I supposed to swap out my suspension without coil springs, struts, shocks and everything else I’m missing.

-100 stars for these people.I made the mistake of not reading reviews from Calming before wasting my time.Their Salesman Justin will always tell you what you want to hear (the shop is a little behind making the parts but they will be delivered by the end of the week) just to get rid of you for another week.I had to hear that lie 4 times until I canceled my order and wasted 2months waiting and wondering when am I getting my stuff.If you made the same mistake, dont waste time sending emails, they wont answer just call and listen to his lies. SCAM ALERT. Ordered the 2in suspension system for my sidekick sport in JAN 2018. 6 months and multiple calls to Calmini, i get nothing but excuses about why my product hasnt shipped. Late July 2018 i call and ask for a refund. Justin from calmini assures me that i will get my refund and it will take 7-10 business days. 2 months goes by with multiple phone calls to calmini and no refund. I get nothing but excuses. Absolute Complete Incompetence. Those would be the 3 words to sum this company up. I ordered my parts in EARLY JULY. It is now NOVEMBER, and they finally getting installed. Justin dropped tje ball on this several times. I ordered a 2.5 inch lift and suspension kit, as well as the bumper for my Grand Vitara. He said in September he would have everything to me, that then turned into October, then November. I evem specifically told him to just ship all the suspension parts because the bumper took SO LONG to get to me. Then he shipped me 2 boxes WITHOUT ANY STRUTS, even though i told him I was going to have 2 days off to get this all installed. They had to ship the 3rd box of the suspension kit with the bumper. I lost out on 2 days of work because of this, as well as parts that were 2 months over schedule. Complete waste of time DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

CALMINI SCAM ALERTPLEASE READ this post carefully it will show you the way to get your money back from this scam. Please be patient and read through.On Nov 29, 2017 we placed an order worth of $1,718.70 to Calmini. My credit card was charged right away, however, the product was never shipped to us. After around 20 phone calls to ask for the product and get promised that the product would be delivered next week or next Friday, that oh I dont know why, Ill make sure its sent out this Friday latest from Justin, we still did not get any product. We had no choice but cancel the order after waiting for months. After that, I was very patient and called every week for the refund, and lately, everyday. In total it is around 50 calls i got the same promise each time. I gradually realize i will NEVER get my refund back and my trust has been used!!! I started using emails to have something on paper, of course nothing is returned. Later on I sent them an email saying I will need to report them.I have reported this business to BBB and Bureau of Auto repair. Bureau of Auto repair is investigating this and I take legal action as advised. It has been 8 months and they think they can just take my money. This is a SCAM and i do not know why there are so many complaints about them and the state of California still let them operate ???Update on 9/1/2018: after I reported the scam to Bureau of Automotive and Repair a lead investigator has helped me to get the money back but this is not an easy process. It took 10 months for me to get back nearly $2,000 dollar ( Calmini are true thieves). This is what I learnt :1. Do not trust Justin! He just lied and lied, your issues will never be resolved. Justin will lie to his death with no remorse. Justin will also block your contact with anyone else, he will say he is the only one who can deal with this. Lies are what Justin wakes up everyday practicing and maybe he also practices that in his sleep ! If you want your money back, do not trust anything he says ! I made that mistake.2. Report the business right away to authorities like I did. I kept listening to Justin so it took 8 months for me to start reporting. The lead investigator had to drive to the company 3 times before he got the check for me3. Dont wait! Report scam to your bank right away. They will step in if you report early enough if you pay by credit card4. Ready to take legal action, the law is on your side and you have nothing to lose here. This is what you need to prepare to get your refund : please do not just call, record all the conversation, email them to keep the file. Calmini will refuse that you cancelled the order or ask a refund. You need the EVIDENCE! They has to pay me back since I did all those things. Just a little late since I believe in Justins lies for 8 months. If you need to take legal action all the evidence is needed and you will surely win the case. This business needs to be taken down !!!5. There is a Facebook group called Calmini Victims that shows you more info on how to report this business to the senator and local authority.6. To Steve the owner : if you have staffs of thieves you are one among them! No excuse! You tolerate the reckless behavior and lies of your staffs and keep employing them. And you know this issue! It has been going on for years! You are responsible! Saying that you are too busy to watch over thing is not acceptable ! If you can only produce, dont distribute, cut the margin for some distributors who know how to do their job (thats my 2 cents advice !). If you staff f up, fire them. If you get bad reviews read them and fix the issues, dont ignore. You can either run an honest and responsible business or shut it down if you cant. Dont make money on stealing ! And in my experience, your business needs to be shut down. May many customers avoid the ordeals we went through !

I can’t believe the trolls on this review site. I had nothing near the experience that these people are talking about. They really seem to have ulterior motives.I purchased my 5 inch kit and bumper for my 2010 Frontier during the 2017 12 days of Christmas sale Calmini had during December. The caveat was my wife wouldn’t let me get it installed on until January though :-(... A little give and take, lol! She never said I couldn’t make the appointment during December for a Jan 2 install, and that is exactly what I did :)...Being the OCD type personality, when I dropped my front tier off with the bumpers and suspension kit, the installer took the time with me to go through all the boxes to ensure all hardware and parts were there. I was glad to see how everything was packed up and the kits were complete. John, my installer, said he would need a few days to get everything put on as he was working on a few other things. I have already waited that long, so if you days to make sure installation was correct was not a big deal.When I came to pick it up that Saturday, it was a completely different vehicle...I could not believe that was my Frontier, it looked awesome! First impression was 5stars. I knew that I did not buy the kit just for looks though, I bought it for Performance too. I love to do Overland camping and just needed that little extra ground clearance to have a more enjoyable adventure during my trips, so I was pumped to get this thing out on the trails ASAP.I had no days off until MLK weekend anyways. Commuting for the week before my trip was rather enjoyable. The ride on the road was as good or better than the stock feel and now my Frontier had that aggressive look, that I’ve been wanting for a a while, with function. Well, after the one week shake down on the road everything was great so I knew it was time to head out for a nice camping trip in the Arizona desert.My wife and I loaded up our gear, the dogs and headed out Friday afternoon for our 3 day overland adventure! We met our friends at the trail head and we all headed out. Now, my wife and I go camping 5+ times per year, so she is very used to the rides. After the first five minutes on the trailhead, she looked over at me and said “ what took you so long to add this Calmini suspension kit on our truck?”....hahaha. All I could do is laugh, lol! The ride was unbelievable and the extra ground clearance made traversing the terrain that much easier.During the trip we never had any issues and just enjoyed ourselves that much better knowing our Frontier was that much more capable. Great product Calmini! oh, and the pre-runner bumper is great too! Really helped with our approach angles and looks great too!!Needless to say, we had a great trip. As soon as we got back I went into see John?and had him just go through everything while I was at work on Tuesday. I drop the vehicle off in the morning and took an Uber back and forth to work. John went through everything for me and gave it a clean bill of health!I, now we (haha), are definitely satisfied customers, and would highly recommend Calmini products for your vehicle performance needs. Thanks guys and if we get that Titan, we will definitely be calling much sooner this time.

Prepare yourself to wait for 5 months to Recieve you order. Or maybe more, im still waiting for my product.*JUST UPDATE *After 5 months of waiting, I finally received my order. And guess what? i have 5 major parts missing for my suzuki grand vitara suspension lift kit. Called Justin right away, he told me he’ll send the missing parts in two days. That was one month ago and im still waiting. Will give you guys an update when I receive it and when i install it.

Please avoid this company at any cost!!! They must have the slowest workers imaginable or just dont care about the customer. I ordered a bumper from them on 3/31/18 they gave me a call to see what color I wanted it and quoted me 6 weeks which okay I can deal with that it has now been 14 weeks and counting!! I have called every Monday after the 6th week and a guy named Justin who is in charge of knowing what the hell is going on with your order (which he doesnt)talks to you which he has to be the most dishonest guy I have ever dealt with in a company. Week after week he keep lying saying this week for sure and guess what? Nothing. No email, no call, no delivery. I have finally had enough and asked for a refund (which they dont want to give me)even if they managed to somehow get me my stuff this week which I doubt I would not want to be rocking their stuff on my truck because of what a bad experience I have had with Justin lying his heart out and being clueless. I ordered a 6 combo lift for my geo tracker Justin the guy who took my order told me 7 to 10 business days to ship. Ok no problem. The 10 days went by I heard nothing from them so I called Justin was very rude and short with me . He said they are runing behind with orders ... so long story short a Lil over a month went by and they never shipped my product this place is a joke dont waste your time or money with this company..... its a shame too cause Ive wanted a calmini lift for years and years and when I finally bought a geo that was clean enough to build up and this place 110% let me down ..... if your looking for a awesome lift for your geo Google alter ego motorsports they wont let you down !!!

Now it has been over 5 weeks and i still havent gotten money back. Ive had this lift kit installed on my titan xd for quite sometime. Ive had nothing but issues. Justin says he is relaying my messages to Steve (the owner) and he would get back to me. Its been 2 weeks and had no response. The issues Ive had are traction control related and cv boots poping off. The dealership blames the lift and calmini blames the truck and dealership. Ive got ring and pinion issues as they are not lined up correctly. Ive called rough country and there kit doesnt have the issues nor does fabtech. Please beware as Ive spent a lot of money on my truck and it seems like they dont respond when you have issues.

I would be skeptical buying from these guys... I ordered my bumper mid November saying it would only take a month to make. Called and ordered, they took my money directly out of my account and was told I would recieve an electronic receipt on my email and yet to have seen anything... Ive called once every week in January and was told it would be next week... Called the following week and received the same answer! Just called today and told me AGAIN it would be another week! They havnt called me about the delay! I call them!! Its been over 3 months and still havnt seen my bumper... I work in the business that if you tell someone one thing then you deliver because I care about my customers... I dont get the same reaction from these guys! Not happy at all

Worst experience and Product! Ordered level kit for 2016 TitanXd, I talked them on the phone prior and they were really knowledgable and helpful until they got my money$.... My kit was sent 5-7 days shipping. I requested a tracking number multiple times after day 12 I finally received it and found out they screwed up the shipping and it was returned. Then they didnt resend promptly and I had to keep calling. Once it was sent out and almost reached my house and it failed delivery cause they put wrong address on package. Delaying it even longer. It took over a month to receive package and no less than 10 calls to them.Upon install I took it to my regular shop that has done lifts for me and my family and friends for years always do a great job. But as they were installing they found that the bolts on the spacers were welded off centre so they had to be cut off and re tacked. This added a significant cost to my install. I called Calmini about this issue and they told me they had heard this before! But then they side lined it and said my shop was probably lying so they could charge me more shop time. Funny cause he admitted Im not the first person to complain about this product but tells me my installer is taking me for a ride. I then requested to be re-embursted for part of my sale or at least the shipping for all their screw ups and poor quality, and now I just get the run around. The guy in sales always says its out of his hands and the manager Owner is never available. Multiple messages have been left to return my calls but they are just too busy sales guy says, this has carried on a month since the install.I DO NOT recommend this product or company there is way better. Rough Country was almost $100 cheaper for same equipment. Buyer Beware!
