Expensive. The food quality has gone down. I have had to return 3 items this years as they went bad almost immediately.

I just started working in Aztec and have to go here sometimes. Everyone is nice but slow so slow. If you are hoping to get in and out this is not the place. I was at the self check out and there was a line. One lady needed the cashier so she came over but instead of just helping and moving on she started up a conversation about farming!!! It was frustrating for me and the others waiting in line. Small town friendliness is great but so is efficiency and they lack that here.

Prices are just a bit high but the store is nice and it is full of groceries and the people that worked there were friendly...

Stopped by to pick up some freshly cooked mango habanero chicken. It was the best Ive had from the deli. Perfectly cooked and marinated.

Pleasantly surprised how great this grocery store was, great selection of lean meats, including bison, lamb and turkey, their produce department was fresh and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely shop here again 😜

Friendly helpful staff. Many Employees have been there for a long time which says something about management. Always clean, only issue i have is the self checkout is very tight and always crowded, and there arent very many other registers open when it is crowded.

The restrooms were clean, the store was very clean and organized. There was a fair amount of people in the store but everyone was wearing masks. The shelves had a few bare spots but not bad. They did not have all the registers open so there was a short line at self check out and about 4 people in every line that was open with a checker. It was between 4:30 & 5 pm.

Starbucks Lady was super nice. Thank You Starbucks Lady. She didnt hear the correct order and re made it for us. Youre awesome

This Safeway has all you would expect from a grocery store. In addition to regular packaged and canned goods they have a full service meat department (the best in town), a deli with a lunch counter, liquor, produce and a fill service bakery. It is lacated convenient to m ost of the town and most hotels.

They had the oat milk that o couldnt find anywhere else

The store brands are very good. Prices are very comparable to lesser quality products at other stores.

I dont have much to say about this place so its ok.

They are refusing to enforce mask laws during a global pandemic. At least half of the customers are completely unmasked. It’s extremely unsafe to go in there, I wouldn’t recommend it.

No one is cleaning the carts, nor the self check out. Wont go there again.

Frequently do not have advertised specials. Many items are much less expensive at other nearby grocery stores. Fried chicken at deli is good.

Great produce selection and awesome sale prices.Several meat products in the meat department werent labeled or priced.Mainly, I was not impressed with the delis food. The chicken pot pies, (1 was already hot ready to eat and 1 was cold & needed to be warned up) were not very flavorful and extremely dry. The crust was great though!I also bought a 5 piece fried chicken and it was completely inedible. It wouldnt have even made good chicken jerky bc it was so over cooked or heated.... Idk but spending $4-$5 for each of these items and yet we still had to make dinner wasnt a plus for me. I was extremely disappointed bc the presentation was great.If I could split the rating and give 5 stars for selection and pricing and 1 star for the deli I would.

Well Im biased because I work there. I get paid far less than any of the pharmacy techs in the region but Ive stayed for years because of awesome store managers, fellow employees in all of the departments and how clean they keep it. And I never see someone not go across the store while theyre busy when a customer asks for help finding something. Ill be sad to leave when I get my degree next year. Great, friendly people are something you cant pay for. And holy smokes we have some of the friendliest customers around.

Everyone was helpful and when they found out I was from out of town. Was so nice, to inform me of events that were going to be taking place around the area. The store was clean, well stocked and had a variety, of all the things I was looking for. Thank you, everyone! I appreciate all the ways you made going into a store, so pleasant.

Ive been shopping at Safeway my entire life lol it feels like my off-site extended pantry. Other than the remodel and rearrange every 5 to 10 years I always know where to find what I need.

Safeway you can always find stuff you need and it fresh.

Every time I get things on clearance here, I get home and go over my receipt only to find I still paid full price not 50% off. Wish they would change the way they ring up these items or pay closer attention as they are checking you out.

Cashier named Jesse always has attitude. He never says anything rude, but he slams stuff on scanner and just acts like he really wishes he wasnt there. I know we all hate our jobs, but this guy just really ruins the Safeway experience everytime

Wow, I dont know how this store is getting so many good reviews. The first time I went in here I was appalled at the poor quality of the produce. A majority of the things I looked at were really old, wilty and wrinkled. I have been back quite a few times since and have not found it to be any improved with new shipments. I do eat mostly organic so that probably has some bearing on it. It seems that this town, and the surrounding entire area, do not strongly support healthy lifestyle. The staff are helpful and friendly enough. However, it seems that a lot of them wear way too much fragrance or chemicals on their bodies and, when they handle my food and bags, they become contaminated. Really wish more stores would do training on the dangers of toxic fragrance and other body products for people who, like cashiers, deal with the public.Overall, I will continue to do intermittent shopping at this store but I cannot depend on it to have the organic produce I need. Also, unless you can avail yourself of sales, most of which are for unhealthy Foods, the prices here are outrageous.

This Safeway is just a typical Safeway but it seems that they have a problem with their purchaser because they never have enough stock on the shelf and they dont have back stock either. I dont know how Safeway runs at business but this Safeway seems to be the only one that has that issue
