Sorry Mr. Chip you field that way. This why it is so hard to give a helping hand to some people. You came to one of my techs in the back not even coming to the front office to check in saying you could not get your door to close and you just wanted it to latch and that you did everything in your power to do so. You trick him in to feeling sorry for you that is why one of my techs spent three hours on your door trying not to cost you any money and he did a great job doing so. We do not hate or retreat that we tried to help you . It just makes so hard to believe people when they come in hear with there sob stories like you did not even calling for a appointment just wanting us to move out some one who is paying to put yours in and get you done just for you to put out there that we do not care what we are doing and do not care for our customers or do not have the right tools for the job . You just though that we were going to buy you a new part for your car at our cost. If we did not care we would have charged you more than what it was worth . You got no labor charge! nothing ! If we didnt care we would have sent you down the road holding you door like you came in crying please do anything to just get it to close I do not have any money to spend for anything Im out of a job!! I, sorry you hate a helping hand!!! But all we can say here is God Bless You !!! And At Sinbads House Of Colors we will always try to help out when ever we can God Bless!!!

Brought in what I thought would be a simple door latch repair from ANYONE in this field. Lack of proper tools just brought out the owner, Sinbad, whose only approach was to get a big hammer and beat the crap out of my car door latch on my 1994 car with only 105,000 miles on it; (turned out, after a Google search, that it wasnt the door latch, but the actuator - a hundred dollar item I would gladly have purchased.) I can only assume Sinbad felt my car didnt deserve anymore than his lack of care. (I could have taken a small sledge hammer and punch to it, myself.) Found out later that afternoon, after calling the local GM dealer, that it was the actuator. But now, I need to replace the busted up, dented and mangled door latch, as well. New to the area, not to life or shoddy workmanship. Always thought, before this experience, that auto body work was a craft.P.S. After a simple Google search, I discovered that one only has to lift up on handle at the same time as pushing latch with finger, after UNLOCKING DOOR WITH KEY!, to release door latch!!!! No beating required, just knowledge that I was able to find with an internet search, and they should have known.Never again. Nothing but Crapsmanship
