This is a wonderful store, clean and good prices. I am always trying new recipes and I can always find what I need at Masala Mix. The employee, Donny, he is extremely helpful and always gives recommendations. Will be coming back in the future.

This store is a treasure! I come here often for authentic ingredients at a great price. I love that many items are in smaller portion sizes so I only buy what I need for now. Go check them out!!!

Really helpful. And she will make suggestions on the items they sell how to cook, different pairings and so on. If your are exploring or just getting into Indian cooking please ask. Its a small store but is packed full of goodies and things to peek your interest. By the way the prices on most of the whole or ground spices is really good.

I found a variety of Basmati rice brands and asked for the best quality. The man in charge took charge of my shopping and told me what I needed. It was great. He explained that the best thing is to get are the basics, the original ingredients and not that newfangled improved stuff. Love the place

WOW!!! Im retired military (Navy) traveled the world and have seen many stores that sell Indian products BUT this one was special because of the quality and spice variety, Donnies customer service and some food that is made there and sold on Saturdays. Weve only been here in Phoenix for about 6 months and will definitely be a frequent customer in large part because we love to cook Indian food at least 2x a week. Everything you need for a primo Indian dish can be found here. I wish this business all the best and thank you for staying open post COVID19, see this Saturday for my food pick up.

Visited this new Grocery store in the west valley. Nice medium sized grocery store which has decent selection of groceries.Owner is friendly and mentioned that they have snacks like samosa, vada Pav on the weekends.Hope they add more stuff and get good support from neighborhood.

Its great to have a store on the West side that offers Indian spices and ingredients. Sometimes they have ready to eat food, too.

Owner helped me find everything I needed and he even helped me carry groceries to my car! Their homemade samosas were delicious, highly recommend them :)

Very loud music was being played. Even after asking few questions the music was still super loud. Groceries are pricy as well.

What a gem in the west valley. I went in to find a rare spice and came out with a bag full of ingredients for future recipes. Nicest surprise were the homemade somozas. Yum!!!

I was unsure about going into the store amd not knowing exactly what I needed. Dan (sorry if Im wrong) was very welcoming. As soon as I read off my list he got up and was ready to help. The groceries/prices are fine, but the young cashier needs to learn more customer service. He was not at all dressed properly for the job. He was picking up items one by one and holding them under his arms while scanning. Not only was he wearing a tank top and shorts but when my turn finally came to check out he proceeded to leave and reshelf some dry fruit and count inventory while I’m just standing at the counter. I had to ask him “hey are you going to check me out?” I would love to give more business to them but until he learns a little more professionalism I’ll drive farther to the east valley to get groceries and have a more pleasant experience. (Also all the customers were wearing masks while the cashier was not!) I know this post might sound a bit mean but please take it as constructive criticism. Thank you

Great little market! I was excited that such a place existed within a 5 minute walk of my apartment. I expected high prices and mostly novelty items, but its a legitimate market with fair prices and everything you could want to make an Indian/Balkan/Middle Eastern meal.

I loved this store! We just found out that they had opened and got really excited since we always go all the way to Tempe to buy Indian spices among other things. The store was real clean, organized and the person that helped us was so nice and helpful. We also found out they sell samosas on the weekend!

This business is the reason I encourage everyone to support small and local set-ups such as Masala Mix. The owner is extremely passionate and helpful about cooking. You wont find that in the larger ethnic super markers in the Valley.Take your friends and family and introduce them to Indian cooking.PS it would super cool if a chaat or small Indian cafe opened up next door

I bought the prepared food. The signs said two for one so I thought it was a good deal. There were no price tags and it was the regular price. She asked me if I wanted a receit? Shady operation.

Friendly helpful neighborhood shop for Indian and other exotic spices, mixes, jarred food, snack food, frozen goods. Really happy to not have to travel across town for some favored ingredients. Just a word, if looking for fresh produce, meats and cheese, currently not available here.

I just love how much variety of indian foods there is..if you are a college student, this is perfect if you want to get a microwavable meal..they all have an excellent price. LOVE IT Soooo much. A great place to pick up Indian foods and ingredients if you are in the Goodyear/Avondale area. The store is small but has most ingredients you will need for Indian cooking, including a frozen section with a respectable variety of packaged Indian foods.
