I’ve dealt with Art mostly, however over the last 5 years I’ve worked with mostly all associates. Quick, timely, and courteous service. Twice now, Art has pulled me out of jams for work and travel sport due to all the construction on the highways in the past. Always extremely helpful in getting tires quickly installing them for us. Great place, highly recommend, and have tires on all my vehicles from them.

Ive never been to a Purcells before but this one and only time. I called and was told to drop off my vehicle the next morning @ 7AM for service in which I was there bright & early their doors opened promptly at 7AM. The gentleman working the desk was friendly and knowledgeable. His customer service was good-he greeted me when I walked in & welcomed me back & thanked me as I left. Sadly, those small details are a rarity these days.Why the 3 stars then if I was pleased w/ the customer service? Two things really which they are kinda related; Prior to me calling the store to schedule the service I had done so two different times online as well as submitting two different email requests. I know that me submitting these request were not actually scheduling me which Im fine with but I was expecting to be contacted within 24 hrs to schedule the service as per their websites explaining how the process works - 2 schedule service requests & 2 quote requests but nada.Other issue which is related is the fact that they had my vehicle from the time they opened shop to the time they closed up shop-meaning all day but yet I picked up my vehicle w/ no services rendered. WTH, right? They called me at 3pm(they close @ 530) after barely completing their diagnostics advising the issue and recommendations which were no different then what I told them was the issue and services I wanted done. Yes, the quote was much higher than anticipated but the actual problem is the fact that you had my car for entire day and Im thinking Im going to get the services rendered but instead youre telling me that nothing has been done and that its going to take you an additional two to three more days in order to do it. What is the purpose of scheduling services? I called prior to schedule to have specific services completed not scheduled to have my car diagnosed. Why did it take an entire day to diagnose a car? My vehicle was previously diagnosed at the actual Nissan dealership where the car was purchased from and was already quoted which I should have just did done it then. It would have been scheduled to be dropped off the following day and completed.So, paid $120 to be told what I told them initially... Picked up my keys... And drove home more broke with the same problem.Apologize for any grammer/spelling/punctuation typos as well as the lengthy ranting for anyone that actually read this entire review 🙏

Super friendly guy running the place. They had the tires I needed in stock when the shop down the street didn’t. I’m glad I decided to call around and landed on Purcells. I got the road hazard warranty and still paid $200 less than what the other shop wanted for basically the same tires without the warranty.I’d recommend this place and will more than likely go back when I’m due for new tires.

Great service. I was driving from out of town and experienced car troubles. The people at Purcell took care of my vehicle while two other shops wouldn’t even look at it.

Front Desk worker was very respectful and helpful. Also fixed the problem in the car and did the job nice.

I’ll start by saying this USED to be the best place to take your vehicle, not soo much anymore. I called on a Saturday morning asking if they had time to do an alignment same day, they didn’t so I scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. I show up for my appointment, drop the truck off and at that time I was told it’ll be a couple hours and they’ll call me when it’s done. I assumed because of COVID they didn’t want me to hang around and that’s why they said they’d call so I ordered an Uber home. I get a call about an hour later to tell me they are unable to complete the repairs, because I had abnormal tire wear. That’s to no fault of their own however an initial evaluation would of revealed they weren’t able to do the repairs and I wouldn’t of wasted $25 and a few hours of my life riding in an Uber for no reason. Fast forward a week and I got new tires for the alignment. I called and set up another appointment, when I arrive to drop my truck off for the second appointment I was told that they weren’t going to have time to complete it that day and asked if it was OK to do it the following day. I told them no it wasn’t OK, I needed it done now because I need the truck for work and explained that the purpose of scheduling the appointment was to guarantee me a time slot.. The representative seemed annoyed but reluctantly agreed to have it done same day so I ordered an Uber and went home. Upon returning to the store to pick up my vehicle I asked the tech how bad it was off and he very quickly explained and kind of brushed me off, mind you this is the end of the day on a Monday and it was obvious from the time I dropped the truck off that everybody wanted to go home. I get the truck out on the road and it does feel a little better however it still pulls to the right, I honestly think they rushed through it so they could get home and I highly doubt that any effort was truly put in to make sure the vehicle was aligned correctly. Prior to this I have used Purcell several times and had great luck, this experience has really left a bad taste in my mouth and at this point I wouldn’t recommend anybody to use this place. Go somewhere else if you want it done right.

I needed 4 new tires for my Kia Sportage. I took it to Purcell and they treated me wonderfully. Not only was it great customer service, but my vehicle was done in 2 hours. Id highly recommend them to anyone!

I cannot recommend this establishment enough! I was in a major bind as me and the family were scheduled to leave to Cali (that afternoon) to celebrate me and my sons birthday and I desperately needed assistance!! Troy (I believe that was his name) took my information and advised he would call in an hour with an estimate. I explained my situation and he was sympathetic and said they would get back to me ASAP. 40 minutes later I get a call. I ran over a speed bump too fast and (from my understanding) busted my rear ended shocks, broke the arm and link connected to the shocks and needed 2 tires. I was advised they could do the work and cost - which wasn’t really a lot. But more than I could pay upfront. Luckily, they utilize a service which offers a payment plan. I was able to pay a small amount upfront and the guys were able to work on my car and was fixed a few hours later. Guess who made it to their birthday celebrations on time?!? Super thankful for their professionalism, work ethic and customer service!!

I realized late in the day that I had a nail in my rear tire . I showed up around 430 to this location on Indian School in Avondale. I’m sorry I don’t remember the mans name behind the counter , but he was awesome ! He did not have the tire I needed but he was able to get the tire from his warehouse. His wife works at the warehouse and turned around went back there picked up my tire and delivered it to the location. The entire crew were happy and up beat ! Great job . Thanks for making my day easier .Shawn H

The nice you man that fixed my flat was kind before I even walked in. He was genuinely kind, well mannered and respectful. The 5 stars belong to him. The price for fixing the flat was a little to high but I had no choice. I believe it shouldn’t have cost more than 12.00. Instead it was 21.00.

The employees at this facility are very nice and upfront about repairs they are making to your car and what services your car needs.

Im not happy with this service i make the oil change to my truck and just pas 1k miles and the truck need oil change again they tell me is because im driving too bad lol never mind im never go back this place

I highly recommend this Purcell tires location. My kids and I were on our way to a wedding when we got a flat tire. I couldn’t even make it to a Discount Tire where I have full coverage and figure I’d just pay the money to get it fixed so that we could be on our way. The manager was super friendly and got my car in quickly. He was able to have the flat repaired and even honored my full tire coverage from Discount so I didn’t have to pay anything. We were back on the road in an hour and made the reception. Thank you Purcell for taking such great care of us.

I had a leak and you charged me $800 to fix all these things. I still had the leak and you cost me $850 I’m so mad at Purcell. What a rip off.

I had a tire failure on my motorhome and decided I needed to replace all 7 tires. Purcell tire was very efficient in locating and installing the tires. I was back on the road much quicker than expected.

Art has always welcomed me me with utmost respect and is very Professional about handling my vehicle and his word is solid by keeping my appointment and pick up times.

So my overall experience was great. George Thurmond was very professional and easy to work with. The mechanics were also very friendly and knowledgeable. The whole team was very prompt in taking care of my vehicle as well. I only had one issue, the technician who completed my oil change forgot to reconnect my air flow sensor. In return the car did not start right and it also caused the check engine light to come on. I brought this to the mechanics attention and he promptly fixed the issue and reset my check engine light.

Very good customer service very clean honest service a little pricey but as long as the job got done correctly I’m happy no wait time and on time.

It took an hour to find a nail in my tire and repair it. Seems to me it should have been a much quicker process to me. Pricing was good, people were friendly however. So at least they have that going for them.

Love this place. There are many places alot closer to me that I could take my cars for service but I drive across town to go here. Customer service is awesome and they take great care of their customers.

Staff was super helpful and got right to work on our vehicle. The only real delay was due to us dithering over whether to get new tires. Even despite us slowing down proceedings, it didnt take too long to get everything done. Staff is always very accommodating and friendly, and the nearby shopping center is a pleasant diversion for longer repairs/killing time.

Service overall was great. Was a little bothered i made an appointment at 1:30, and they didnt even pull my car in to work on till over an hour later.

I have been back 4xs 3of which was told been fixed same issue with same tire. Been on a big run around trying customer service. Guess will keep driving on a faulty valve and see what happens

I will never bring my vehicle back to this place, was told my over priced oil change took so long because they are required to do all these additional inspections... didnt recommend changing my dirty air filter and oh ya I basically had no front brakes left... they knew I was headed out on a trip... thanks for that safety fail... then to add more insult to their service I paid for full synthetic but according to the tech sticker he put in high mileage oil so now I get to pay to have my oil flushed and changed... awesome work you idiots.. no thank you, trust is a big deal in auto repair and I have none for your shop

After a long day at work, my car wouldnt start. I got a jump, and headed down Indian School to catch the 101N, home. As I came up on the shop, I decided to whip in and see if they could help. They immediately tested my battery for free, showed me that it had 20%life left, and offered to replace it right then. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The customer service was exceptional, and the gentleman gave me a firm handshake before I left. I will continue to go here, and highly recommend for others to, as well.

Very fast and friendly service, very accommodating to getting my vehicle in for oil change. They explained some other deficiencies they found on the vehicle while working on oil change but we’re not too “pushy” in having those taken care of “right now.” Over all a good experience. Only complaint is they used high mileage oil, which I believe is a little more expensive, on a vehicle with only 48,000 miles on odometer.

I expected some sort of discount since one of my Goodyear tire ripped , with only 17000 miles on it. The other three were examined to make sure they are in good nothing is wrong with them. Unfortunately my 36 month on them was in February a month and a half ago. I did not run over anything or hit a curb, it just simply ripped apart. For that reason I was disappointed for not receiving a discount on a new one.

I am so disappointed with this place, i took my car in to get its regular oil change and the gentlemen i spoke with the 1st time i went sold me a bogus plan for 4 oil changes for a lump some for full synthetic this time i go in and the put a blend and i paid for the other. The guy helping me said the other guy might of done something wrong but he couldnt change it .. I spent about $160 on that card because of a promotion they had that weekend and now i cang use it because they said i have to pay more for the original oil i wanted .

I have had my vehicles serviced at this Purcell Tire for 10 years and all my maintenance and tire service has been exceptional! George and Art have always provided elite customer service in recommending services and covering my warranties. 5 Stars All Day!
