My daughter and I arrived at dairy treat around 8:55 pm Saturday July 31st. There were around 5 couples in line, including myself and my daughter. 9:00 on the dot, whoever was running the store that evening, stuck her head out of the window and yelled out that it was “9:00” ! And that they were closing up shop. I thought this was pretty rude. They could have finished up the lone them closed. Disappointed definitely.

Sweet folks and sweet treats. The striking part about the cones- I had chocolate, my Mrs. had vanilla... we both agreed they were better than Dairy Queen. (And Dairy Queen is good stuff.)

Has gluten free cones! We love their soft serve, the Dole whips and the dipped cones.

Absolutely love the place! All these new places do not compare at all! Its a place that will be around for families of generations to come!

Horrible customer service… rather than making a situation right the owner escalated it for no reason, gaslighted, and then slammed the door on us. This establishment doesn’t care about the customers, just money in through nasty means. I would never recommend this location — so many other locally owned places that know how to manage a business and customer experience.

Dairy Treat is the go-to place for soft-serve ice cream in Avon. Run by a local family during late spring and summer months, it carries a range of yummy coldness that is sure to please. There is seating for patrons to enjoy the shops delights, and in a city like Avon one is sure to run into friends and neighbors also there to enjoy the various delights for sale.

Definitely a nice place to grab a sweet treat! I always grab a flurry. Check it out. Prices are reasonable and always quick.

Absolutely fantastic soft serve ice cream, served quickly and efficiently. They also have two different dole whip fruit flavors every week and can do a swirl of the dole whips. Its a favorite weekly summer treat for my family

Very good sizes. Delicious Dole whip, mango and strawberry twist! The server was really nice and even put candy eyes on my kids Dole whips (and they werent even kids sizes). Love the one way in and around and out drive way!

Love this place.

Nothing fancy but its a perfect spot to get some soft serve or dole whips. It can get busy, especially after baseball or softball games but the line moves pretty quickly. Fun place to take the kids in the summer.

Cannot miss the rootbeer freeze - think blended rootbeer float. The orange softserve ice cream is great. All the treats are good and they are huge.

Service was fast and friendly. The location was clean. Parking lot was cramped. The ice cream was not rich enough for my liking.

I love This old fashion ice cream place! The ice cream Is More home made AND you can sit outside on the benches while your kids run on the loan, it Is PET friendly :)

Took a long time to get our order in, they should consider taking multiple orders at a time. They also dont put out napkins and seem a bit stingy handing those out. Seems a bit pricy for what it is. Mitchells is much better for quality and price.

The Lick, an Avon landmark whose seasonal opening is the first sign of Spring! Families have been lined up there for generations. Soft-serve ice cream, other light fare. And a covered patio for protection from those Summer storms!

They close when there is 30 minutes left. The ice cream is alot. Good place to sit but I dont recommend going to that place to get ice cream.

The range of ice cream flavors is limited - the day we went it was vanilla, chocolate, and orange. It not bad, but there are better places for quality ice cream in the area.
