In my experience, out of the 5 visits Ive had to this store, three times I get products and go to the register and they tell me oh no, the price is wrong on the shelf and they charge me a different price. I will not be going to this store again. I dont have to personally know the prices of all electronics in the world to shop there. Customers rely on the posted information so if you cant keep it accurate, you wont get my business.

The people were nice. I found some much needed stuff for my gaming system. My parents found a much needed computer as well as travel case for it. The young man helping them was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great customer service. Needed to exchange the TV we bought and they removed it from the trunk, brought the other to the service desk, and loaded in the car for my wife. They were very pleasant and ready to help.

Went in this morning looking for a sound bar that I could connect my turntable and TV to, was helped quickly and efficiently. The employee was able to reserve the sound bar at another nearby location since it wasnt available at the Avon location. What they suggested was exactly what I needed and Im already all set up at home. I really appreciate Best Buy overall, their employees have actual knowledge of what they are selling and I love their relationship with Limited Run games.

Scheduling for services is terrible and not organized at all. I would not recommend scheduling anything online, maybe the in store experience is better. I have wasted 4hrs in travel and my time because of the way the service scheduling is set-up, without even having the service performed yet!!! They have alot of work to do in order to make the process more seamless.

We went there to buy a new tv. The reason I gave best buy 5 starts was mostly because of the salesperson that helped us. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. We got a competitive price on our new tv, but we ended up buying it there because the salesperson was just so fantastic!

They were very helpful trying to find a stereo wiring harness for a 1990 Festiva I am working on. They also were able to tell me the stock sized speakers so I could replace them also.

This should be zero stars. The associates were standing around playing on their phones and not taking care of customers. But they lost a customer. NOT a great store and customer service Zero Stars for this stores most definitely. Couch your employees on customer etiquette and not to use their phones. Also because they are in Avon, OH does NOT mean they are better than anyone else. PERIOD!!!

The most helpful staff...I had the 3 things I needed within 8 minutes!

Love in home adviser service. Installers were wonderful. But best buy really needs to fix its phone system.....cant call stores; correct numbers for particular questions are hard to locate; once connected to correct person, the service is good....but it requires perseverance to keep cycling through automated screenings asking same questions.

Sales associate was very helpful. He was able to explain in detail the product I was purchasing. I received very fast & courteous customer service.

Most of the time I can get in and get out, everyone is super helpful. Once in awhile when I go in though it seems like all the employees avoid you and you just want to ask a question about where something is.

Many items were out of stock as of August 2021, their open box discounts were only 10% off full price on laptops. Zero GPUs in stock. 4 stars because my inner nerd was pleased to see some amount of electronics available in these weird times of shortages of things.

Bought dishwasher from here. They installed through outside company as all stores do. To make a long story short install ended up being done wrong and when we called Best Buy they send you to call center which is big mistake they said call Samsung. Samsung came out said install issues they can’t do anything. Went to store and the manager there went above and beyond!!!!! Wish I knew his name the man is excellent I can not say enough!!!! Thanks Best Buy Avon!!!!!!!!

Bought a TV from here, did not tell me had no hardware, got home to put the legs on and no hardware. Was about to call and said no hardware on the receipt. I was not told that in person, I had to order it online. Also I was looking to buy subs and amp and have it installed in my car, and was told wouldnt be able to have installed till weeks later, so I went somewhere else for that and got it done the next morning. Idk best buy used to be like a one stop shop and it definitely wasnt this time, cant even use the TV without leaning it on the wall till the bolts come in the mail.

My order was a Samsung french door refrigerator, my purchase order was in May 2021, now we are coming to end of June. I received a phone call the night before my delivery to inform me delivery will be postponed until July. Very disappointed with Best Buy and Samsung, wasted a whole day from work. Best Buy could not accommodate me with any special service with either upgrade or a discount that were to my satisfaction.Not only they loss a sales from Advisor sales person Cheryl Towner who help me. But they also lost a return customer. Because the manager Chuck of the Best Buy Avon Ohio store couldnt figure something out to satisfied his customer. Please dont promise what you cant deliver and if something happens then you have every obligation to satisfy your customer. Because good paying customer is hard to come by.

Always like coming to the Avon location due to everything being up to date and how helpful everyone is. The Avon location always has enough staff to help you when you need it.

Ive been burned by this location too many times. Constant delays in product shipping, inability to serve customer needs. This one may be much closer, but I end up at a different store anyway. Dont waste your time.

Attempted to purchase a camera system that was priced at $199. Rang up at $500. After walking back to the Shelf we discover that someone had mis-stocked a whole row of the cameras. Managers were unwilling to honor what it was priced at, even though legally they have to sell it for that price. This is why I Amazon is putting these smaller places out of business. When I was in there it was like a ghost town.

Purchased a tv less then 2 years ago, an insignia brand(bestbuys brand) stopped working and they pretty much told me to pound salt. Offered to re buy the same model TV for the original sale price which is only 60$ less then the now stickered price and was laughed at. What a joke of a company I have always shopped here for electronics but wont be returning to any of there locations.

Went to the best buy in Avon. Had to exchange a defect x-mas gift. Very easy to return and purchased a different product. Clean store and great customer service person.

Was one of the first and only customers in the store at opening. Waited almost 20 minutes in the PC area. No store associates would help. Went and talked to a store employee who told me I would need to wait as they were busy (there were less than 6 customers in the store) the rudeness is typical of Best Buy. I have had nothing but negative experiences at most of their locations. I would spend my money elsewhere. If a competitor actually opened that had better CS and equal Prices Best Buy would be out of business.

Associate showed me where to get what I wanted and checkout was quick.

Cheryl and Matt are two of the best consultants I met during my appliance and home theater shopping for my new house! They were not pushy and knew their products. You can shop online and probably find lower prices, but you cant replace people knowing their products and setting you up with the perfect configuration for your situation.Thank you!

Next, when my TV would not fit in my vehicle, she didnt hesitate to get delivery set-up. Not seen in todays society anymore. Wish I knew her name to give a big shout out to her for her service!👍💪

Good food and service

Had been shopping for a new tv all day as the one I had decided it wasnt going to work anymore. Had been to Walmart, Meijer and Target, they all advertised TVs on sale and in stock at the particular stores I went to....however...none of the information for each store was correct, they didnt have the advertised tv in stock.Finally, I went to Best Buy in Avon. The young man that waited on me was so nice and helpful and he put the tv in the car for me. After the day I had already had I was ready to quit for the day. Im so glad I went to Best Buy. I got a better tv, a 43 Toshiba with built in Firestick at a better price and ended the day feeling like the customer does matter. Thank you Best Buy for actually having the merchandise you advertise and for hiring such nice people

Tried calling multiple times over the last week and cant get anyone to answer phone. Simple question but Im not driving 35 minutes to find out its not what Im looking for since theyve closed the elyria store. Ill order from Amazon and if its not what I need I can take it back to kohls 5 minutes away.

Called the Avon stores electronics department with a question about exchanging an item I purchased online. First call I sat on hold for a half-hour and decided to hang up and try later. Second call I sat on hold for almost an hour, at which time I was transferred to a call center. My question was specific to the Avon store, so the call center forwarded me directly to the stores customer service. They picked up the line and then hung up on me without saying a word. Called back again and sat on hold for another half-hour with no answer so I gave up.

The selection at this store is very poor. Hardly any staff around to help when you have a question.

Just had in the top ten of retail experiences in my existence. Poorly run, poorly merchandised, poor service. Apparently have given in to the inevitability of Best Buy shutting its doors and doing their level best to facilitate it.

The worst customer service. I purchased a new refrigerator back in July and visited the store today to buy a new router and was told I had 0 reward points.?? The girl was not unhelpful & rude in trying to explain to me why no points. She was not interested in solving the situation so I walked out. Sorry Best Buy no more purchases from me. There are lots of other options. I would definitely not recommend this store to anyone. Poor employee training and management exists here so venture at your own risk.
