1 very valuable thing about this place is they keep their word. My salesperson was Manny and the deal was pretty straight forward. Basically there was no BS padding of extra nonsense like other dealers in the area. Manny also promised they would order and replace a part which he did. Terry in fiance was also very helpful and very pleasant. I also spoke to the general manager who assured me they want to keep customers happy and they succeeded. Give them a shot!

I was so happy with the deal I got on my Hyundai Elantra! Joe S. was an excellent salesman and went above and beyond to ensure he could provide me with the best deal possible. He did not give up and he truly made me feel like he was on my side! After I purchased the vehicle, Joe helped me with some options for getting car insurance and kept me updated regularly on the status of my license plates. The saying if it sounds too good to be true it is holds especially true in my particular case. I lost my car In a flash flood. As soon as I entered Sansone I was introduced to a salesman. As soon as we got into the car and he found out my check was still being processed he proceeded to tell me the odds are that the car would not be there next week. I explained I had found two competitors who had no hesitation of holding the car for a few days for me due to.my circumstances (and that is the absolute truth) be admitted they wouldnt. Then, he drove me to the wrong car, and told me it was being serviced. Next, he realized it was the wrong car. When he took me to the correct car, it was dead. One being fixed and the other completely dead. He offered to jump it, but I have no interest driving a car that was DOA when I got there. Spoke to the manager hoping he would apologize for my traveling that far for such a fiasco and he presented as detached and offered excuses rather than a simple apology. Buyer beware if you are looking at the 2018 Hyandai Konas there.

HONEST REVIEW! This was the most organized dealership I’ve ever been to. Dan was extremely helpful and the mangers were very personable. Buying a car isn’t always a pleasant experience but Dan was so helpful and made the process as easy on us as possible. They also made sure we got the best price possible, and I truly believe that. A large variety of cars. It depends who you end up talking to in sales. I had great experience dealing with Thomas Peoples for years in Hyundai Sales. He is flexible and pleasant to work with. The dealership could be more upfront with their unadvertised fees.

Dont waste your time trying to get service here. Over two weeks ago I scheduled service for my Sonata Hybrid and chose the option on their website that allows for pick-up and delivery for an extra $15 each way. Well over the past two weeks or so Ive received reminder texts about my appointment and etc but no one showed up to get my car. I called this morning and the service advisor tells me they dont do pickup and delivery. Well why is is an option on your site for me to choose it? He had no answer. This is False advertising, annoying and a complete waste of time because now I have to wait even longer to try to get my car serviced somewhere else. The picture below says it all...the pick up service is right on top of their service scheduler page.

I spoke to the girl and all I said was I cant believe you cant find my car. She thought I was yelling at her. She said dont yell at me. TERRIBLE PHONE SEVICE!!!

My 2018. Hyundaai Sonata Sport would not start one while coming out of a local WAWA food market,right there in the parking lot. I called roadside assistance who dispatched triple A but they could not jump it so I had to be towed to Sansone Hyundai which happens to be the dealership where I bought the car as a used vehicle. It was late in the day andService couldnt guarantee me they could fit me in that day as they were all booked up. But right near the end of the day everything began to come together nicely. They were able diagnos that the starter motor and solenoid were faulty in my car. Luckily both parts were in stock and they were able to replace the old with the new in no time flat even though it was beyond normal service department hours.I am forever greatful to all the wonderful people i encountered that afternoon including my excellent service advisor for keeping me in the know every step of the way, the Shop Mechanic for getting my vehicle up and running even beyond normal working hours and getting me back on the road again. Even the gal Dora behind the parts counter who was extremely accomodating, allowing me to charge my cell phone which was running low on battery while I was waiting.What a great team! I tip my hat to you all the excellent services you provided. Me that afternoon.Tom

A car is not valued by how much you are willing to spend per month! Know you’re numbers before you visit AND don’t give them your credit card when they tell you that it will show you are serious about getting a car. They did everything but nail my feet to the floor to keep me in the store. I leased a Kona anyway but definitely not because they gave me honest pricing from the start.

14Sep2021 - 3:52pm: Hi, I am at the Sansone Hyundai service center and my service consultant name is Antonio. My appt time is 3:30pm and I am here at 3:27pm. He was there at his desk busy work and no greeting. I went and introduced that I am here for service. He said, someone will be with me shortly. Apparently it is either him or the other person working along with him. I waited 20 min and at 3:50pm he entered my cars vin in his system and said it is not showing up. Apparently this car was bought at a different dealer but my last two service was with Sansone. I already pre-paid for the service and Luis Martins, my favorite service consultant never had issues processing my invoice.As I am typing now, Antonio making me wait and it seems he wants to talk to his boss to see if they can do service because the car was purchased from other dealership. He was arguing that the right way to do is to take the car to the dealership where i bought or pay for the service. When I bought the prepaid, I was told that I can take to any dealership. Do anyone believe?I have never gone through this before with abt 9yrs of customer dealer relationship with Sansone (my prev car was also serviced at Sansone).I am hoping someone will appear and take care of my service appointment. I am still waiting (4:07pm) and lets see...Update: 4:12pm:Now he came back saying that I got pre-paid from third party and hence he didnt see in the system. In other words, he looked up in the wrong place and didnt get the right information. Then how did Luis Martins took care of my car service in the previous two times?I am still waiting... lets seeUpdate: 4:40pmFinally, someone came and asked me to sit inside the waiting area while they take care of my car. Thanks to that guy (dont know his name).Isnt it something that was expected by any customer when they went on at the scheduled time? Why would a customer had to go through so much huddle for the lack of knowledge from the service consultant?Sansone must be spending money on sales and marketing to bring new customers or to retain existing customers. They should seriously think that a minimum training must be provided to new employees especially those facing customers. Antonio also mentioned lot of unnecessary points that doesnt make sense (I have few recordings) and it showed his disinterest towards work. I worked with Ron Thompson for my purchase. He allowed me significant time to make my decision (several days of back and forth to the showroom). I took a few test drives too. I did my research and came in with it believed was a fair offer. With very little negotiation my price was acceptable and the deal was completed in a short time. I would work with Ron again should I am looking for another Hyundai again.

I usually hate the car buying process, but had a pleasant one on this occasion. I went in to only test drive a Palisade before deciding to buy at a later time.Ismael was a great agent, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. If it werent for him I would have most likely not purchased the car that day.Terry in financing was also easy to work with, he explained everything clearly and concisely. Honestly this was the first finance office Ive sat through without wanting to blow my brains out.Overall the experience was very good, negotiating is always tough but thats to be expected.Overall I definitely recommend Sansone Hyundai for your next vehicle purchase.

On April 26 I bought my car in due to a paint peeling issue that I started to notice was gradually getting worse by the day. I was greeted by Sherry who was friendly and professional. She informed me that I could not wait to have my car evaluated and that no paint work takes place on site. No loaners were available. Fine. I called a week later after I had not received an update that warranty would cover since everyone at Hyundai admitted it was a known issue with the white vehicles from that year (2016). I was told no updates still pending warranty review. After several more follow ups I finally get a call on May 13th weeks later from the Service manager that Hyundai will only cover 50% and the rest is my responsibility. I was quoted $5400 for the hood front near sunroof, small area on front bumper and a spot on the trunk hood. $3000 out of pocket estimate! I spent money on a rental and Uber during this process while my car just sat on their lot collecting dust! I am appalled at this response that had nothing to do with normal wear and tear. This should be a recall and they know it. Hyundai needs to own up to this and make it right with their consumers. No return calls from the manager as I had other questions. Bad business. The 3 stars is for Sherry. Other than that it would be zero.

I called the dealership to ask if they had a Hyundai Venue in stock this morning and they stated that they did. I made an appointment and the woman told me that she would send me over the photos of the vehicle via text. I never received any photos. I get to the dealership for my appointment and they have none in stock and the last one was sold three days ago. It is interesting to me how unprofessional your office staff is. There is no reason that you should have a potential customer drive to your location if you have Zero vehicles that I am looking for in stock.

Purchased a pre-owned Hyundai from them and paid them to order the plates. Six week later not only have no plates arrived but they have totally ghosted us. We dont even know if they ever ORDERED the plates because they wont talk to us. Wont return emails calls, nothing. Voicemail boxes are all full. Emails are ignored. We have been nothing but pleasant and so I can only surmise that since they already have our money they have no interest in spending time dealing with us when they can be spending that same time selling a car to another customer. I have never had such a negative car buying experience. Avoid these guys or at the very least dont let them take care of registering your vehicle.

They sold me certified car, but I had pay extra to get the certification transferred to me, which was not told to me at the time of the deal. Not even a year has passed and I went to do a service on the car at another dealer and they could not see my Certified warranty which is up to 100k miles. Now Sansone is giving me the run around. Never again. I bought a new 2019 Hyundai Elantra from Sansone Hyundai April 26 2019 and I have had it fully dealer serviced there since I bought it. I learned not to trust their service department;On Friday Nov 6 2020 I started my car and immediately heard a engine knocking noise then I noticed the oil pressure light was on so I immediately turned off my car and got a tow to their dealership. I got a call from the service advisor claiming they have checked my car and stating that the technician “wasn’t able to duplicate my concern and at the time no lights were on”. I asked about further diagnosis tests but I was told there were none that could be completed because no lights were on and they wouldn’t be able to get a trouble code. I reluctantly picked up my car and noticed the mileage, my car entered the service shop with 24099 miles and after the inspection had 24099 miles. I was able to drive home from the dealership without further issue.........that day.The next day, Saturday Nov 7 2020, I went out to dinner with my family and on the way to the restaurant my car again ran fine. However, when we left the restaurant and as soon as I pulled onto the main road my oil light came back on as well as the knocking but louder this time then my check engine light came on........then my car stalled, this all happened within a total of 30-40 seconds after pulling on to a main road. I was very fortunate that there was another parking lot entrance right next to where I stalled as it was a busy road we were on with a very small shoulder (if you could call it a shoulder at all, it was only about a foot wide). I then got another tow but I went to Global Hyundai this time, they were already closed by the time we got there and I had to wait until Monday.Monday, Nov 9 2020, I got a call from Global Hyundai asking about my issue and I told them the entire story including what I was told by the Sansone advisor that said there were no diagnosis testing that could of been done. Global did confirm that there were further tests that could of been completed and they would check my car over. After Global technicians checked my car over they found I need a new engine. It wasn’t a small intermittent issue, it was an ENTIRE ENGINE that was a problem and Sansone failed to diagnose that! I bought my car from Sansone Hyundai, had my car fully serviced with Sansone Hyundai and I trusted them. I was starting to look to possibly trade in my Elantra for a larger SUV and I was looking to do so within Sansone Automall but not anymore. I no longer trust them, will no longer do business with them and I can no longer recommend them.*EDIT* I got a actual response from Sansone! They claim all tests that they could do were completed. Funny how when I took it to Global they were quite taken back when I took it there and told them, with receipts as proof, what Sansone told me. It also claims on my receipt my car was taken for a test drive, I’d like to see evidence (video or otherwise) that my car ever left that lot that day, I strongly doubt they even took my car into the garage! I had a tow from Stop n Shop in Edison and my car had 24099 miles, when I got it back I had 24099 miles even though the work order claims 24100, I can still give them that 1 mile though and with that said how much can really be determined in 1 mile? It was also mentioned in the response I was given something about a recall? I never mentioned that. Unless they give me the contact information to an executive I have no interest in speaking with anybody else from Sansone, I do not and will not trust Sansone again and I will never buy another Hyundai either.

Had the best experience ever getting a new car. Our salesman Allan Kenny was awesome. He took his time and made sure we found the right car for the right price for us. He went beyond what was expected. We wanted to look at a KIA also and he went over to them and got us a comparable model to test. Decided on the Hyundai Elantra after but the fact that he didnt push it or anything on use made the difference.Worked with Terry Chung for the financing and he we great also. No pressure, explained all the options we could get and the price points.They made it so easy and painless. Never thought buying a car could be this nice.I will definitely be going back for any car needs in the future.

Service advisor Luis has on multiple occasions behaved in a way that was dismissive and frankly ignorant. When my partner purchased her car she raised a concern about a noise in the steering column. To which Luis responded “Cars just do that.” Great customer service! Wonderful that they allow advisors to be so dismissive of a woman WHO JUST PURCHASED A CERTIFIED PREOWNED CAR from them.I drove the car and consulted with an external mechanic, it was determined not to be a normal noise that cars made. Low and behold after we took the car back, the advisor working looked into the matter and determined that repairs were needed.After the repair was done, I picked up the car myself. While driving it I noticed the alignment was completely off. Once again the car was returned to the dealership. Additionally we also made mention of a check engine light that had been turning on and off. While voicing my then moderate displeasure at them not doing the alignment during the repair, the advisor proceeded to ask me.“Well should we have?”I took it as a failed attempted at sarcasm and shrugged it off. We began discussing the check engine light and was assured it would be fixed.After about an hour of waiting, (which under normal circumstances would be a huge plus.)The tech comes out and informs me that the work was done and the car was ready to go. I asked her what was the engine light about, to which she replied. It was the wheel alignment, they did the alignment and cleared the code.Which brings me to today. Surprisingly the wheel alignment did nothing to resolve the engine light and it’s been turning on and off intermittently. After consulting with a different Hyundai dealership, we were informed that they do have the ability to check previous engine codes. So we made an appointment for an oil change and engine light check with the hopes that this could be made right. Frankly we just wanted to know what was causing the light going on and off. My partner went in with the car alone and had the pleasure of working with Luis again. Based off of what I was told of the interaction, he informed her that she could disregard the oil change prompt the vehicles was currently displaying. Oil would be good for at least another 600 miles. She disregarded Luis’s expert advice and got the oil changed anyway, once again mentioning the check engine light. What was relayed to me, was the manner in which he spoke to her was patronizing and once again dismissive of her concerns. So naturally I was upset and asked her to call me when she finally got the car back, I wanted to listen in. Sure enough, what followed was her asking every conceivable way to please check the logs on the car and Luis making every excuse not to. Informing her that the check engine light needs to be on before they can do anything. At one point even saying that there were just so many things that can cause a light, it would be hard to tell without the light being on , while walking away from her.I don’t need a resolution from this dealership at this point. 3-4 visits on the same issue, countless lies from “experts” and far too many phone calls from my partner informing me once again she was talked down to and dismissed.We are done.Would strongly reconsider giving a single dollar to a dealership that employs people who actively do not care one iota about customer service and clearly unwilling to do their job. We will definitely be having our car serviced elsewhere.Also forwarding a copy of this to Hyundai.

The showroom is pretty small,very few cars in the showroom and it didnt feel very welcoming. My husband and i were thinking about purchasing a vehicle from here but we just didnt like the vibe. The people that work there were very polite, but they didnt really go the extra step in trying to find out what exactly were the features we were looking for in a car. It was not a good experience compared to autoland in springfield were they treat you like family and welcome you from the moment you step into their showroom.

I dont understand how this is an accredited facility for warranty repairs. I drive a certified Pre-owned Elantra and rolled there last Tuesday with engine troubles making SURE they knew I had the original 100K warrantee still in play, was quoted 3-5 business days for a diagnosis, and on the 5th was told a list of things wrong totaling $3500. The kicker? They claimed I had no warranty and would have to pay out of pocket. I tried to correct them on the phone but they said they cant find any warranty for me and that either I pay or move my car and pay for the diagnostic and etc. I went there the next morning WARRANTY IN HAND only to be told the same thing, nobody would even deign to look at my warranty, and that I was on the hook for $3500. The next thing I did was call Hyundai the corporation where in less than 10 minutes a decent human being was able to tell me very plainly I have a warranty and the quoted parts qualify. Now Im waiting 3-5 more business days for them to contact Sansone and get back to me. Why did I have to call Hyundai? Why would you lie to me to my face that I dont have the signed warranty I was holding? Disgraceful. I will never set foot here again and Im having my car towed to another certified dealer for WARRANTY COVERED repairs because I dont want you even breathing near my car again. Anybody reading this can trust me because Im not some guy with one review (here) talking about the *awesome sales team!*. Im a real guy who only writes reviews when something is super awesome or egregiously bad and this is the latter.UPDATE!In the end it took 29 days to get my car back. As I told them on day 1 I suspected it would be fully covered under warranty and it was, it took them three weeks to admit that and only then did they ask me to produce maintenance receipts which I could have gotten 3 weeks earlier and further delayed my approval. Ultimately a 3 day engine swap took almost an entire month and the kicker? They didnt call me to approve the work! They just took it upon themselves to get going after 3 weeks of keeping me in the dark. Even now, two days after I picked up my car, I have not received a copy of my work order which I desperately need to try and obtain some money back for the rental. I was very condescendingly told that Rob the manager would be in on Monday, maybe Ill get it then maybe I wont. But in the mean time i dont know WHAT they did to my car and Im out over a thousand bucks on rentals. Thanks Sansone! You take the word sketchy to inconceivable heights.Edit #2: whoever replied to my original comments used the word amicable decision much too losely. I told them I felt like I was being taken for a ride and wasnt sure I wanted them to fix my car, so in the end they didnt tell me I was 100% right and approved for warranty work and just did the work without contacting me. Yeah, thats not amicable.

When visiting Sansone Hyundai, Ronnie Thompson is definitely the Agent you want to do business with. Hes extremely patient and informative, he also advocates on his clients behalf. Management can be a little tough but theyre doing their job. I will also recommend that you guys speak with Michael Pachytel (Business Manager), when doing paperwork, hes pretty cool lol. Overall, I had a good experience at Sansone Hyundai because of Ronnie Thompson!!!!

Had a great experience here! I visited the Hyundai center and was immediately helped by Michael, the sales manager, and Allan in sales who were both great to work with.The setup here was very laid back and relaxed when I arrived. After some discussion and a low pressure test drive we managed to work out a very fair deal on a lease, they even added some extra features for a more than reasonable price. Not once did I feel pressured or manipulated like at some of the other dealerships I visited, nice change to be treated with respect and decency.Ended up leaving the same day with a new Elantra. Highly recommend paying this place a visit!

Lease my new Hyundai Elantra 2019 at Sansone Hyundai on route 1. It is my first Hyundai vehicle ever to drive and lease. Must say that we were very impress with the staff help and making customer feel comfortable. Sales counselor, Bryan Taylor who helped us, was very patient, easy going and did not felt pressure through process. Understood what we wanted and needed. Was more then helpful throughout the purchase process. Show us different cars that meet our requirement and needs. Great sales counselor. Thank you Bryan very much. Also Terry Chung who is the Business Manager, made the financial process very easy. Made us feel comfortable throughout the finance process and very charismatic attitude. I had my three year old son and David was so patience asking if we were ok or if we needed water or other beverages. He made us feel comfortable. I didnt feel pressured or hurried at all. Sherry was beyond wonderful! She called me once my part for my car came in and made sure she made my appointment early, knowing it would take a few hours, just so that I could continue on with my daily errands once my repairs were done. To both our surprise, the repairs took a lot less than anticipated and told. Service here is great!

Best car buying experience that my fiancé and I have ever had. We worked with Dan who was kind, personable, patient and who went above and beyond to make sure we understood everything about the car and what it came with. He stayed with us hours after closing until around 11pm to teach us about the car! We went to other car dealerships where we were treated as if our business did not matter and were talked down to but not at Sansone. Everyone was friendly and very patient which is really important when choosing a new vehicle. When I’m ready to buy my next car (which is soon) I’m certainly going to buy a Hyundai from Sansone and from Dan.

I barely write Google reviews - especially, when it comes to negative ones. I’m not going to complain or exaggerate but just list the facts of my bad experience purchasing a 2014 Hyundai Sonata out of college. 1) They gave me a terrible APR and ran so many credit checks that I was unaware of. I also was with my dad that day but they waited until my dad went to the bathroom to move my naive 22 year old self into the financing/closing room which was a little shady in my opinion. 2) They made a mistake in documenting the proper mileage of the 2014 Hyundai Sonata I purchased. This was a huge error because, when I tried to sell it 2 years later, the carfax showed potential odometer rollback which sunk the value. I get it mistakes happen, but, when I called them to help me rectify it - they kept giving me the run around and half gestures until I was fed up and just had to sell it at half of market value. I, for one, will never shop here again and highly do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from here. Take this as you will.
