I wanted a custom bookcase and a decorative wall for a library in my new home. We came across Michael, owner of Edwoodstudio, as we searched for carpenters. Michael came out to the house and we instantly hit it off.He was able to draw out what we had discussed, incorporate the design my partner had created for the decorative wall. What he did for the bookcase, the integration of the the and the LED lights was magnificent.This project exceeded my wildest expectations. Michael built a custom desk for me and all I can say is, Wow! Once I knew that my work from home situation was going to be more permanent, I scoured the internet for the perfect desk when I knew custom work would be necessary. I wrote to Edwood Studio to see if they could make a custom desk for me, and Michael reached out immediately. I shared with him my vision of having a hideaway desk with plenty of storage that was kid friendly (my office is also a playroom) and easy on the eyes. He was incredibly thorough and went through details I didnt even think of. The desk is even better than I imagined and is definitely the best piece of furniture in the house. I have a great work station, but I can put everything away and have something beautiful to look at. Michael has a passion for what he does and the quality is incredible. The delivery and set up was a very professional experience. I highly recommend working with Edwood Studio!

Michael made the top for a desk I restored. I had a pretty elaborate design and I wanted it in walnut. I am very glad I found Edwood, flawless execution and expert craftsmenship. He did an incredible job helping me realize my design. This is absolutely an heirloom quality piece of wood working.

Stunning work by Edwood Studio! Michael created a beautiful 9 foot shelf (piece of art) that worked so well with this odd-shaped wall. Ive been stuck on how to finish this wall for almost 3 years now and I couldnt love it more! 5 stars for brilliant creativity and flawless execution!

My wife and I needed a dining room table for a home we were building in Austin. We described the home to Michael, the timeframe for building the table and table design. In love with my custom desk! I asked Michael to make me a desk that spanned the entire length of my office + matching floating shelves for storage. It turned out so pretty and Michael was a pleasure to work with. He listened to all of my needs and concerns. The end result is A+.

We love our new breakfast nook bench! The quality and style are top notch. We get compliments on it whenever we have people over. Michael was great to work with too. He helped form and solidify our ideas during the planning stages and was easy to coordinate with during building and install. Michael and his team worked on a number of items for my house remodel. Two of the standout pieces are shown below.The first picture is of a fireplace surround made entirely of Ash triangles of different depths. They ran LED lighting through some blocks to create dramatic uplighting.The other project was the custom bar that includes a Neon plexiglass bottle holder and brass lined cabinet.Couldnt be happier and would highly recommend them!

After a long search and speaking with several woodworking craftsmen, I chose Michael with Edwood Studio. I truly appreciated his through communication, understanding my design concept, attaining the highest quality wood for the project, producing a beautiful finished product and sooner than expected. The natural finish walnut island top is truly a work of art and it is evident it was a labor of love. Michael and Shawn took great care in the delivery and installation and to see it in place was a magical day! Michael is great! He made my spec house kitchen look like a totally custom job by boxing-in the refrigerator and finishing-out the undersides of the wall cabinets. Hes reasonable, speedy and a real pro. Im more than satisfied!

So happy with the final product! Michael was great to work without throughout concept, design and installation. Hes very collaborative and really wants to do the best job. Ive had so many compliments on his work and would definitely use Edwood Studio for future projects.
