I could not be more pleased with the two systems that were installed at my home, how well they have performed (our home is comfortable 24x7x365, and my electric bills are down by 40+% consistently). They recently came in to service our system, as they do twice a year, and performed a fantastic service, provided evidence that we should change the large filters that help keep our system performing optimally, and ensured our drains were clear and treated them to ensure they remain algae free. I cannot give them enough stars! We had been without A/C in 95+ degree weather for nearly 3 weeks. Our home warranty company was dragging their feet. I gave up and fired them, called AC Pros. On Monday, Mark came out, listened, gave our system a thorough check, then gave us replacement options. Our unit was 20 years old, so repairs are no longer an option. That night, we got an email with complete descriptions and costs. We called back with our decision. Our system was installed on Wednesday! Noah, the owner, even worked with us to iron out a wrinkle in the payments.I cannot say enough positive about them! They are even coming back in a week to make sure everything is good. Had them successfully unclog a drain line that was backing up a few weeks ago and then had a standard service check done on my two units today. Both techs (Mark then Michael) were on time, very friendly, and informative. The service check came back with a couple of repair recommendations, although I decided to hold off for now. As a numbers guy, I do like how they have good notes on the invoice detailing their observations and results of the various tests on the units for future reference.

This is a newly installed AC unit by AC Pros. While working fine, I had concerns with the startup. The Technician, Mark Franklin, was very knowledgeable and explained what the issue might be before he even started. After performing a complete system check and software update, no serious issues were found and I was completely satisfied with the service performed. Have been using AC Pros for years and have always had great service!

I’ve had AC Pros at my house 3 times in the last week. Michael came out twice to work on my AC units 2 different times. All 3 decided to have issues in the same week. He came out quick and fixed the multiple problems for me. I also had some plumbing issues and Doug immediately came out and worked on them for a few hours. I am a mobile boat mechanic and small business owner myself. When the 5yr old air conditioning system went out at my house, I knew I could eventually figure it out being that I work on marine air conditioning systems and all air conditioning systems operate on the same principals but being busy at work, I decided to let a company familiar with home AC systems handle it for me out of sheer time and convenience.The tech who came out to my house told me that my system needed a new capacitor. My initial though was, OK that seams reasonable, how much? The reply was $417 and then he tried to give me some speal about it being a performance Turbo Capacitor. Turbo is just the name of the model line of their preferred manufacturers capacitors. Aside from the name, there is absolutely nothing turbo about it. These are universal capacitors which is likely why they use them.The owner of the company (Noah) contacted me after reading my initial review and asked me to revise it stating that it was an unfair review. We had a serious 2way discussion exchanging mobile service business models, parts markups, travel time, and labor time.The conversation ended with me feeling not quite as bad as I initially did, but still extremely disappointed in this company.A direct replacement capacitor for my particular ac unit is $15 when bought online. Their 5yr warranty universal capacitor is $417 installed (a 10 minute repair) You will have to be the judge on whether it is worth it or not.

Doug came and fixed a plumbing issue we were having in the kids shower. He was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. I will definitely use AC Pros in the future.

I use AC Pros at both my home and by business and have had only positive experiences. I have had both Mark Franklin, and Michael Anderson as my technicians and they are both terrific. They both did great work, and fixed what needed to be fixed, let me know some areas of concern, but for those there was no hard-push up sale or pressure, just professionally pointed things out and showed me and let me make my own decision to address it or hold off. I have an on going maintenance contract for both home and office and recommend them. And working with Katrina in the office on scheduling was also great, in particular she operated via text and email rather than phone voice at my preference, which due to my work allowed be to multi-task setting up appointments.

Noah, Doug and Ethan installed a new 50 gallon A.O. Smith commercial grade water heater in a pretty challenging space today after our original one decided to blow a seal unexpectedly just yesterday afternoon. I cant say enough about how responsive and thorough their team was through the process. They came by within hours to give us an estimate and fit us into their schedule the very next day, even when it meant arriving after a long day of other installations to make sure we had a new heater before the day was over. Our A/C stopped cooling in the early hours of Monday, May 10. A/C Pros had installed our system a little over a year ago so I called Katrina (at AC Pros) around 7:30AM to schedule a service call. She was able to get me on the schedule for a same-day afternoon service call and dispatched tech, Mark Franklin, to check out the A/C. Mark was on time and after a short diagnosic process he found the problem to be a bad compressor capacitor. He had one in stock on his truck and was able to have our A/C back in service in less than 30 minutes after his diagnosis. After he got the unit back on line, he proceeded to check the amperage draws on the compressor and condenser fan motor to make sure nothing was damaged by the capacitor failure and found all to be AOK. He also checked the line voltage to confirm it was not a power supply problem that caused the capacitor to fail, also AOK. He then checked the cooling inside and confirmed that everything was working as it should. Mark was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and made sure to follow all the Covid-19 protocols. Long story short, I would recommend A/C Pros to anyone who needs a great A/C contractor for repairs or new equipment sales.

Update: Noah, owner, contacted me to see what was wrong as I had left a voicemail too. Pretty much I talked and he listened. He explained his side and asked if he could come over and check the AC himself. I agreed that was a good idea. Turned out the fan motor needed to be replaced ( which is what I figured in the first place) He was here over an hour as he took the pressure off the system and, when it was safe, put in a new fan motor. He did not charge me anything. I did offer to pay for the part but not the labor as Noah should not have had to come here. He was very knowledgeable and found it pretty much right away. Very nice guy! I am updating this as I would use Noah again. I have to say his technician is also a very nice guy BUT I wouldn’t use him. PS the 5 stars are for Noah.They don’t have a rating less than 1 star. Very ticked off. AC Pros came out to fix the outside AC unit that wouldn’t turn on but it was working when they showed up. It was a user error thing. I figured the fan motor or capacitor. Well, it was 2 capacitors. I didn’t bother to look at the bill until today when it is barely keeping up again after 2 hugely overpriced capacitors and 3 lbs of Refrigerant. Well, what the technician didn’t know is I was raised by an HVAC man.Long story short, they were here 2 days ago, I finally saw the invoice and lost it, and they I feel the price was high. I have now called another AC company that can be trusted! They will fit us in and get it fixed properly. Feel free to get a quote and then get a second opinion because you will be overcharged and it still isn’t working . If it was good workmanship, it wouldn’t be 84 degrees in the house right now when the thermostat is set to 73.

My wife and I have been using AC Pros HVAC services for more than 7 years. My wife always had great respect and admiration for Rachel and enjoyed talking with her on the phone. She also greatly appreciated the technician when they came out, did their work and then explained to her everything they had done, and why they did it. Then, occasionally, I would be home and get to meet the techs and call the office and speak with Rachel or Katrina. Mark came out last week and performed the HVAC maintenance work. He did his usual great job. and I shared with him that that day was my birthday. Later that day a Bundt cake was delivered to me at home. Well, I HAD to call and thank Katrina and Rachel for doing that for me. That same week, Doug came out to service my water heater. He did the flush I had requested and we talked about the anode replacement. After looking at the 14-year-old water heater, Doug mentioned that it was well beyond its normal service life and showed me where the bottom of it was beginning to show signs of corrosion. He suggested, as food for thought, that I might consider having the unit replaced. After more discussion and getting an estimate for the work, I agreed to have the unit replaced. This week, Doug and Noah both came out and got busy with the job. Within a few hours I had a new water heater and expansion tank installed. They had to modify the piping a bit because the new unit is taller than the old unit. But they got it all done, very professionally and quietly and quickly. I believe you will not find a better crew to take care of your air conditioning and plumbing needs.

Mac, Josh, and Noah exceeded my expectations! I received 3 quotes for an HVAC replacement of 2 units. Noah from AC Pros gave me the most comfort that I was dealing with a company that was primarily interested in doing a great job at a fair price. The other two companies, despite having great ratings, seemed more interested in making a sale (almost used-car-salesmen like tactics). Price-wise, AC Pros was much more flexible and a pleasure to deal with. Mac and Josh did the majority of the install and Noah came in to do QC checks and complete some specialty items I had requested. They were always polite and were dedicated to doing their job well. HVAC technicians from other companies havent always had that kind of can-do attitude. It was relief having a company that prioritized good work over turning a profit. A lot of that is in the attitude and demeanor of the employees. If you want a job done well at a fair price, I cant recommend AC Pros enough. Our experience with AC Pros was excellent. Two technicians came out initially and checked our air conditioners and water heaters. Both gentleman were very thorough. We were especially pleased when Michael went up to the attic and found that the the evaporator coil was malfunctioning with ice build-up. We knew that the air conditioner had to be replaced because of the inability of the unit to cool our home last summer. Everything proceeded uneventfully with the installation of a new Trane furnace and AC. However, the AC had a tendency to turn off especially as the day progressed. AC Pros conducted a logical step-by-step process to correct the problem. Noah thought the problem was due to the drain lines being clogged. He removed material from the end of the drain line outside which release a torrent of water. Noah then pressurized the line and added a declogger. The AC has worked flawlessly since then.

Great communication from Co. after booking as well as before scheduled service with name and photo of Tech coming to the house. Direct communication from Tech on ETA which was nice. Justin was very knowledgeable and communicated all necessary service/problems needed. Had access to answers to all my question immediately if he didnt have them himself and knowledge of the warranty of my units which was very helpful. Parts ordered and installed the next day!! Justin is the best AC tech ever. Honest and knowledgeable, I couldnt ask for anything more. Trust is important when were dealing with large ticket repairs and I know were in good hands with Justin is taking care of the shops AC needs.

The initial visit (to determine why the system wasnt cooling) was very professionally done. The AC Pro (Ryan) was a bit late, but called to let us know that he was running late. A comprehensive and accurate estimate was generated. Both upstairs and downstairs units needed to be replaced. (Hey, they were 16 years old.)The installers arrived a couple of days later (on time) and they worked for seven and a half hours (with only a short break for lunch). Being in an attic in Texas in July must be brutal. The installers were also very courteous and professional.The owner came by the next day to inspect the work done and to make sure that everything was satisfactory.AC Pros HVAC met or exceeded my expectations in every way. I can not think of a single negative aspect of this experience. My wife and I were amazed at how painless this experience has been.

Installation of new unit was done quickly but there was an issue with interior noise. Rick and Noah came back and got the noise reduced by 50 percent. Good group of people at AC Pros. The installers were friendly and professional. Rick was outstanding throughout the entire process. I did a lot of research before deciding on Trane and I think we got a good unit at a fair price.

I couldnt be happier with the service I received from Noah at AC Pros. I was expecting to have to replace my entire A/C because that is what another company told me, and i was just looking for a quote. Instead, Noah quickly found the leak in my condenser coils, which were still under warranty. It took a while to get the replacement coil, but when we did, Noah promptly installed it and got my unit back up and cooling. All in, it cost less than 10% of what a replacement A/C would have cost.

Update: I have been using this company for over 4 years at this point and it continues to impress me. Absolutely top notch service. On this latest go around, I needed to replace my 30 year old water heater. Doug did a great job explaining my options beforehand, and then completed the work quickly and efficiently.Everyone at this company is incredibly professional. AC Pros recently replaced my 10 year old HVAC system with a new Trane system. From initial quote to system installation was less than a week. Noah - the owner - stopped by a few days later to inspect and tweak the installation. And the new Trane system controls both temperature and humidity. Recommended.

We called Noah early on a Friday and he worked us in quickly, despite our never having used AC Pros before. Michael showed up promptly for the appointment and kept us notified all day long about his progress. He found the capacitor problem on unit 1 and I had him check for problems on unit 2, also. He found that the unit 2 capacitor was about to fail, so we had both units repaired in one short visit. Prompt, competent, and personable. AC Pros will be our go to HVAC contractor from now on.

I had an AC issue after a record breaking heat day. I called and was able to promptly schedule an appointment for the next day. Jon arrived within the specified time frame and quickly identified the issue with the AC unit. He was polite, professional, and explained everything succinctly. I obtained a deal on Angie’s List so I’m sure I saved money on the part and labor in comparison to other companies!

We just used them for our satellite office here in Austin. We had really old units and they installed 2 new systems extremely quickly, which saved us a ton of $$ in downtime. I thought some of these reviews were padded, but they are as nice as all these other reviews say they are. The pricing was really more affordable than I thought as well, went under budget. Good job guys and we will definitely use you again.

I do not write reviews, but I had to share my experience. I am an older gentleman, and my AC went out the other day. It was just not blowing at all. I figured OK the fan went and I prepared myself for a 1K or over bill.With this heat, I had asked for them to come out same day, I know I might pay for that service, and that was fair.2 techs came out, and they were dressed extremely professionally. They went in and found out that it was not the fan, but one or two simple components. They did not charge me any same day fee, and the final repair was way under the 1K I had envisioned. They could have easily said it was anything, especially because I fed them my Fan: Theory! But they did not.They were professional looking, professional repairing my unit, and everything reminded me of the old days, where family owned business did good clean fair business. I guess a couple of these good companies still exist. I am now setting up a maintenance call for my unit to just get it cleaned out, Freon and that kind of thing. Good job is all I have to say.

Mark was very professional and patient. He troubleshooted the problem with the heater not turning on in one of the zones and the system being manually reset. I could not be happier with the outcome as I did not have to order a replace to the zone card. He spent the time needed to root cause the issue and cared about the outcome.

My experience with AC Pros HVAC has been consistently excellent. Most of my work has been performed by Ryan Birdsong. He is an excellent technician that analyzes problems quickly with focus, and I never feel I am paying for any unnecessary services or equipment. When he can, he presents me with options available to me regarding repairs, and that is truly appreciated. Ryan is a great communicator, keeps me informed when he will arrive, and what he is doing to make the needed repairs. He is a real valuable player on the AC Pros HVAC team.

Jon Wesson performed an annual maintenance check on my AC unit. I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He notified me when he was on his way to my home, he arrived on time, performed the service in a timely manner and explained to me in detail what was done. He also provided me with tips to keep my unit running efficiently. I will definitely ask for him when I need service again.

Jon was incredible. He arrived on time, gave us a thorough walk through of all of our systems capabilities and limitations. He was able to make suggestions for improvements and was hones with us about what was necessary and unnecessary. I never felt like he was pushing to sell us anything. Pricing was fair and I feel like I understand better how to maintain our system and keep it running for many years to come. If I could give Jon 10 stars I would, but 5 will have to do for now.

Pleasantly surprised with a follow up call within minutes. we scheduled an appointment for the next day late afternoon... Impressed with updates via text and email on our scheduled appt. Jon was nice and was able to communicate what was going on with my AC units very well. He was patient with all my questions and thorough in his investigation and explanations. AC Pros HVAC keeps all the information and data about your AC stored in a user-friendly system online, so you (or more likely your tech) can refer back to it later if needed, its pretty cool.

Needed a duct cleaning as I moved into my new place and Noah was quick to respond and schedule the estimate. Jon showed up right on time, provided a timely estimate, and even educated me on my system! Very friendly people. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and random google readers.

John is very professional, knowledgeable technician. They are a clean shop that does not try to overcharge, they need to retain this as their core value. AC Pros (Noah, Ryan and Shawn) installed a new Bryant system for our two story home. The quote was competitive. They arrived on time and essentially completed the job in one day. I have already recommended AC Pros to friends and colleagues. We will definitely use them again!

Doug Peterson came to our home today to service our water heater. He was professional, efficient, and Covid-safe with mask (properly worn), gloves, and booties. The advice he gave me was concise and in language I could understand. Very satisfied. I appreciate that AC Pros texts the name, qualifications, and a photo of the service person who will arrive. It is reassuring to have that when I answer the door to someone I wouldnt know otherwise. I also appreciate that they text 15 minutes before they will arrive, and that they arrive on time.

Ran late, but very helpful. This isnt the cheapest company in town, but I appreciate the options for ongoing maintenance without a hard sell, as well as their commitment to take care of their customers.Update September 2018 - This company is definitely dedicated to customer service. Theyve treated me fairly and with integrity. Ive seen them a lot, because theyve been trying to fix a system that was installed by another company thats since filed for bankruptcy. Each time something goes wrong, theyve given me all of my options with honest feedback, and without a hard sell. Theyre quick to return a call and since my first visit, theyve arrived on time and taken great care of me. Having been taken advantage of by another company in the past, I cant tell you how much it means to now have an honest, reputable company to rely upon.

Highly recommend this team of professionals. Communication was fast, price was fair and service exceeded expectations. Shawn is top notch and his install was smooth. We were cool again in no time. The bottom line is that this is the only company you should consider using for your furnace and A/C needs.

This review has nothing to do with the Professionalism of Jon or Rick who came to my house to diagnose an AC system that was not cooling. The 2 of them were great. They quickly found that the fan motor had gone out. My particular system (Trane) required that the motor be replaced (not just capacitor). He called his supplier and they had 1 in stock that they could pick up and come back that evening to install. He said the cost was $1498. I thought that was high, but he explained that the motor for this unit was particularly expensive. Luckily my wife came home and informed me that we did not have $1500 to pay, so called to postpone the service. I looked online and found the motor for my unit available for between $350 and $650. When I spoke with Jon, he told me that the cost of the motor was $675 (I guess reasonable for same day local supplier vs online), but I still questioned why there was $800 labor. I called a couple other companies, and neither quote I was given for the same work was more than $730. They were shocked that someone wanted to charge more than twice that. I had another company come out the same day for less than $700 ($400 for motor and $250 labor). Im not sure how AC Pros quoting system came up with $1500 for this job, but it left a bad taste in my mouth, and Im glad we called around. Sorry Jon, I would have loved for you to get the business.

Jon did a great job. Quickly diagnosed the issue, a bad capacitor and the least expensive problem. Did not have the exact part, but was able to get us up and running with a combination of other parts. Then acquired the correct part from the supply depot and came back and installed it the same day. He also diagnosed that we were a little low on freon and added a pound during the same service call. Lastly, he investigated a hot spot condition in our house, shared options for addressing it (for a later time if we decide to pursue that option) and fixed a couple of air leak issues in the attic at no extra charge.

I love AC Pros. They are honest and reliable. They show up promptly and make sure everything is in order. I never feel like they are up-selling or trying to make me buy something I dont need. Highly recommend them. I have been a client of theirs for several years now.

An excellent company to do business with in my opinion. I love the fact that they remind you of your appointment via email, inform you about your technician when hes on his way complete with contact info and, of course, provide consistently great service at a reasonable cost. Jon was my service provider and he was outstanding.
