Shane, the technician that Precision Garage Door of Austin sent us was everything I hoped for. He listened patiently to all of my questions. He was very knowledgeable and capably answered every one. He willingly gave me the options I requested and was happy to perform the service I chose, even though it wasnt the most expensive option I could have chosen. The work he did was excellent. The garage door he fixed sounds very quiet even though it still has the old door attached to it. I truly couldnt be happier with my experience. Nick with Precision Overhead Garage Doors is a great technician. Very professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem preventing our garage door from opening and was able to repair it with parts in his van. I was given a quote over the phone by Precision to have my garage door opener replaced with a new belt drive system. The person that I spoke with said that the quote included installation. I called a couple of garage door companies to compare quotes and those quotes were more expensivefor the same system. I explained to them that I had received a quote for less so I would be going with the other company. I was then told to be careful, because once the technician came out there would be unmentioned added costs. I called Precision back and confirmed the quote for their basic belt drive system and was once again told that the quote was for the system installed. When the technician arrived we spoke about some upgrade options and he gave me a couple of quotes if I wanted to upgrade. When I asked him to compare the upgraded cost to the basic system that I had been quoted he explained that even the basic system cost wasn’t what they had quoted me on the phone. He explained that the quote that I was given for the basic belt drive system didn’t include the belt. He said that the belt costs another $40+ dollars. I told him that I was not interested in doing business with a company that gives miss leading prices over the phone just to get a technician to your house and would even pay another company more just for being straightforward to begin with. The technician was extremely professional and stated the he understood.

Excellent, prompt after hours service. Our garage door jammed stuck open at 9PM, not good! We called Precision, they sent GD Guru George out in about an hour to at least get the door closed. Not only did George get it closed, but repaired it and serviced the springs & cables all in about 30 mins. I called at least 6 other highly rated 24 hour companies, 5 of them had answering machines and didnt call back until the next day, one said see you tomorrow. Great job Precision!

Billy came out to assess our garage door replacement needs. He was professional, knowledgeable and clean. Spent an hour showing us renderings, color ideas and the materials and what the process would entail. Gave a quote on site and emailed pictures and the quote. I am hopeful the process of replacing is as detailed and smooth and professional as he was.

We have used Precision for our primary residence overhead door service and have been quite satisfied. I needed garage door repair and maintenance on a recently purchased property. The service tech Jeremy was excellent as was the scheduling and notifications in advance of the service call. I would give five stars but had a challeng with product supply, forcing two service visits when one would have been needed. And a scheduling misstep on the second service visit. These issues do not detract from my satisfaction with the end results. Will continue to use Precision for future garage door needs.

The repair service I requested was on time, fast, and well explained by the service representative. Precision Garage Door also provided weekend service at no additional charge.I did not ask for details on the 3-year warranty before selecting this option but when I later read the terms it is a limited non-transferable warranty which only covers labor (parts warranty, if any, are covered by the parts manufacturer).

This is the third time Precision Garage Door has serviced my garage door which was installed by the builder in 1996. The first time (April 2019), they replaced the springs which had broken as well as the cables. The second time (October 2019), they replaced the sensors which were blown out by lightning. This time (June 2021) they replaced my 1996 Genie garage door opener, which finally died, with a LiftMaster garage door opener, and also replaced the rollers. Every time they have come out, the technician has been so polite, so friendly, so knowledgable, and so patient, and Ive been 100% happy and satisfied with the service, work, and bill. Had a bit of a hiccup with our brand new garage door (operator error lol), on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Within less than an hour, Precision was awesome about scheduling, sending a confirmation, and Sean came out and helped us and got the door back to normal!! Like new. He not only fixed the door but gave us a ton of helpful information about oiling the door and getting it properly aligned as well as regular maintenance info. Brian was my Technician and he was super detailed in his explanation of my garage door issues needed to be repaired. Nick Sager has been my go to technician when my garage door needs repairs of any kind. He repaired the spring on the door back in 2018. And back then we casually talked about upgrading my old Sears craftsman’s garage door with the very loud and obnoxious chain mechanism. And replacing it with a belt lift mechanism. Nick was very knowledgeable and pleasant when explaining to me the various features on each price model. This company is very outstanding !! I highly recommend this business for your garage door needs and repairs.

I had my garage door assembly repaired by them in July of 2020 and they showed up on time, did an exceptional job fixing my issue, and left the area much cleaner than the way the found it. Disappointed... When I contacted precision garage door I spoke with a female who quoted me a set price that was very different from the technician. The technician Jeremy was very thorough. It was not his fault for the price that I was quoted, but I was not prepared to pay the amount that he had quoted after being told A VERY different price. I ended up calling out a different company who did an amazing job for a much lower price.

Nick came the same day. He called to let me know how far out from my house he was. He installed a new motor and other parts he showed me, but Im a nurse and I promptly forgot. I had a case where the spring to help raise and lower the garage door broke. I called Precision Garage Door of Austin and was able to setup an appointment the same day as the spring breaking. A young gentleman was sent out to access the door and made recommendations upon what he saw. He gave me three options to choose from. I choose the option that would give me a 10 year warranty on the work that he would preform. The work was completed same day as the spring broke. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door of Austin from the experience I had to get my garage door functioning again.

Workmanship and quality are great, however, they overcharged us by over half of what competitors would charge for same services. I really liked the service technician but I should have called around, would have saved myself a lot of $$$.

I had my consult for garage doors today with Billy. He was professional, took his time explaining all the details, did not try to “upsale” me at all. He explained the wait for specialty doors is 4-6 weeks but they do have standard doors in stock. I have not decided what I am going to do yet, but the initial impression was highly favorable.
