Best place for firewood near south Austin. I get the stove wood which is perfect for my normal size residential fireplace. Oak wood burns long and smells great.

Fantastic quality soil and compost at fantastic prices. I purchased earlier in the year and have been testing it against other soils. My tomatoes, okra, peppers, and beans (all testers) are doing noticably better in Kinser Ranchs soil and compost compared to store bought and native soil.

The Kinsers are wonderful people and offer a superb product in their firewood. It burns great! We were running really low on logs for our fireplace during the snowstorm and were without electricity, heat or hot water. I didnt know Jack Squat about fill for lawns. I talked to the fine gentlemen at Kinser and this ukranian lady and boom--I got a sweet pile of Lawn Leveler fine quality mix of compost and sand to make my lawn awesome. I got 6 yards, but you can get exactly what you want. I got my delivery the next day. I will try these guys for firewood.

Placed my order for 6 yards of Dillo Dirt by phone and it was delivered the same day. Driver called to let me know theyd be headed my way and texted with the ETA. They dropped it right where I wanted it. Friendly guys great service!

Quick turnaround and delivery, however the oak isnt seasoned or dry. After a month or so its still very difficult to get burning and sizzles / oozes liquid when in the fireplace. Im sure it will be fine for next years fires.

I’ve been to Kinser Ranch to buy garden mix dirt many times. Great material and just an all around cool place. The employees are very helpful as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great experience. Asked a question and received a response in 24 hours, on a weekend. Ordered in the morning and had it delivered that day. Mulch and delivery was cheaper than the usual go to stores. Mulch looks great. Delivery person was early and dropped at the exact spot needed and showed exceptional awareness of the trees to not damage.

I was looking around for firewood online. Found these guys. Prices looked good plus they sell other materials besides logs so I thought I’d kill two birds with one stone and buy firewood and some decomposed granite.I placed an order and it was delivered. While I was stacking the wood I noticed it felt extremely heavy, but they were large pieces and oak. The next evening I set up a solid fire to burn using a large amount of pine wood as kindling. My kids were excited to roast marshmallows being in lockdown thanks to COVID-19. To my dismay, I quickly realized the oak wood from Kinser is not dry and cannot be burned.I contacted Kinser via email in reply to the invoice as it was after hours. Surprisingly I did receive an email the same evening:“All our aged wood has been sold out for awhile now. And yes we store it outside in the open. We process too much wood to store inside.”No apology, no offer to make right on it, nothing.I mean I guess if you’re in the market for some wood to stack up somewhere for a year to dry this is the place to go. But I was looking for a 1/4 cord of firewood to burn now, which I generally think is a fair assumption when arranging to pay money for firewood.Nothing wrong with the granite however.

Staff is polite and knowledge able. This is apparently a family business and it is run in a very low key, but capable manner. Their mulch prices are hard to beat and Cannot see a reason to get bulk landscape products anywhere else. They even have a garden soil mix is almost exactly the same as a local Super soil but cheaper.

I used the coupon from the Impact magazine for a free yard of mulch, and it is excellent stuff, finely ground, and there is plenty of it. No hassle and quick service, thank you very much, I will return. I expect its the best in the area.

Not only are the products from Kinser Ranch top notch (mulch, and soil mixes), but the service is great. I am always greeted with a smile and they go out of their way to help. Glad I found them! Our yard is glad too! Its a beautiful place just a short drive away too.

Plenty of firewood; $60 buys you basically a pickup truck full of firewood. The only odd thing is its self-load; theyll sell you the wood, but you have to load it into your vehicle yourself, so be sure to bring gardening gloves. Nice folks though. :)

Ive been coming to Kinser to get my firewood the past 2 seasons now and I have to say these people are the best in Austin! I would highly suggest them to anyone in need of mulch or firewood my only regret is not discovering them sooner! I wasted so much money on junk wood other places.
