Everyone there is so friendly. Doctor Falco is so knowledgeable. I’ll be going back there again next year for my routine exam

In all the years of getting my eyes checked, I have never had so much fun. Dr. Jamie Falco was very knowledgeable about the health of your eyes and a pleasure to be around. My whole family enjoyed the time spent in the office. We will definitely be back for our next exam.

I am very happy with the customer service. The office staff is great., and I really appreciate Dr. Falco, she is patient, friendly and explained her recommendations. I really felt she was looking out for my overall eye health. She even caught something my last eye doctor did not, it’s minor but it will help solve the eye irritation that I am experiencing.

My wife and I made appointments the day before. They have you fill out a patient medical forms online, link provided in text message. Fairly easy overall.When we arrived 5 minutes early, we were greeted by a friendly staff. The doctor on staff was over the moon personable making recommendations and giving suggestions to solutions for 30years I have never heard. It’s nice to see the industry progressing and this location seemed to be ahead of other companies we have tried.

Best eye doctor experience! Dr. Falco was so nice and fun. I went during my lunch break from work and it was so quick and painless! A lot of other eye doctors have made me feel pressured into a certain contact or eye glass brand but not Master Eye Associates and I reeeally appreciate that! They worked with my insurance and was overall a really pleasant experience!

They do not honor their contact 60 day recheck policy. If you come back for a recheck they will find a reason to charge you. Recommend any place else. These folks arent honest; all they want is more money!

Great experience! They got me in and out quickly even though I was a walk in. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

My family of four and I have been going to that particular Master Eye Associates for the past four years. We have had the same insurance coverage for those four years as well. Every time we have had an exam there the cost has been $30 (per person) but yesterday, I was told it would be $140 (for me alone). When I questioned it saying what I’ve always paid in the past, their answer was that I’ve been “undercharged”. Undercharged? All four of us undercharged every time for the past 4 years? Something smells fishy to me. So, I told her to cancel the appointment. I will not be back there or any other Master Eye Associates. You get one shot with customers and if they feel like you are not being legitimate with your charges you will lose them as a customer every time. The front office staff has never been friendly. They act put out when they have to check you in or out. In the time of COVID when business’s are struggling, you have to be 100% every single time and they have failed.

This place is a complete scam. They make any excuse to make you pay out of pocket. I verified with my insurance that I have coverage here and the would not accept my insurance. They are only looking to make insured customers pay out of their pocket. Dont bother scheduling an appointment. Once they get you in the door they will deny you from using your insurance. Saying that the doctor will not accept the insurance their. The doctor also make you take additional and unnecessary testing to run up your out of pocket bill. Completely unprofessional!

Everything was really good while I was there , but follow up was not done at all. I was to receive an email about cataract surgery and did not!

Master Eye Associates has a winning team in their Barton Creek Mall location. Dr Emily Jordan was amazing! I really felt that she was personally interested in my welfare as a doctor. Not only was Dr Jordan professional and nice, she took time to explain my personal situation in easy to understand terms. I was also impressed how their technically advanced digital equipments were able to get my vision 20/20+. The whole experience was very positive from the moment I walked into the office. Their friendly staff deserves commendation as well. For Friendly and Professional eye care, Master Eye Associates at Barton Creek Mall, Austin is hard to beat!

In and out quickly. Office and equipment were very clean. Chairs and chin rests wiped down in my view to eliminate covid concerns. Dr. Emily is very pleasant.

Gold star service from the 1st phone call, to the arrival, to Dr.Dworsky, the optometrist that saw my Mom (a senior ). They are very conscientious during this Covid time. We felt super safe & the office was very clean. My Mom was treated kindly & with respect by all staff. The Dr. took his time & that means the world to her. Thank you ! We will be back!

Worst customer service Ive ever had anywhere in my entire life getting glasses and Ive worn glasses since I was 2. There is one lady name Linda who has good customer service but the rest of them, namely, Tiffany has absolutely no idea how to treat the general public much less a patient. I was told since they inconvenienced me by canceling my appointment on my only day off that I could be a little bit late considering I was coming from my job that I need to pay for my prescription glasses that I could be a little bit late day of they tell me that its unacceptable yet that was the arrangement I made when the appointment was scheduled

I was at the mall to do some shopping while I waited for a friend, decided to use my eye vision benefits at the last moment. I walked in and they saw me almost immediately and all with a smile. The entire staff was very friendly and professional, highly recommended.

This was one of the worst experiences that Ive had at an optometrist. The cashier, Cathie, was one of the rudest people Ive ever encountered. She is one of those sad people who is rude to everyone and then says you are being rude when you speak up about it.The pre-doctor tech was okay. She needs more training, though. She had trouble operating the equipment.The doctor, Dr Herrera, was professional and did his job well. He even came out front, when Cathie was being super rude, which Immediately caused her to try and be nice to the customers.Doubt I would ever return here, due to her amazingly rude behavior.

Had a very inconvenient visit with the front desk staff but customer service gave me a call back about my experience, and they handled it so well, I changed my rating from a 1 to a 4. They even pointed out my family and I have been at this office for a very long time, which it didn’t occur to me how long we have been coming here. Highly appreciated.

No appointment but I had a sudden eye issue and they found a way to get me in even though it wasn’t convenient for them. They went out of their way to get me taken care of but could have easily sent me away. Great service

Didnt even make it through scheduling an appointment because the woman on the phone was too bothered to wait for me to gather my Insurance ID information. Huffing and snickering at me in the background. I did apologize for my unpreparedness and realized the inconvenience for her waiting. As I explained, Im new to my vision insurance carrier. I also mistakenly assumed that I could bring my insurance to the appointment like I have so many times before. After less than 20 seconds of waiting and unwilling to put me on hold. Or I could call back, but it wouldnt reserve the time that we just agreed upon and after I already exchanged every other piece of my contact info.. which she also nterrupted while giving my phone number because someone was on the other line but oh well they probably hung up by now. Just a completely unprofessional and rude experience. Ill take my business elsewhere.

I recommend my doctor, Emily Jordan. She is thorough, upfront and honest in answering questions. Referred me to a surgeon for cataract removal and she is taking care of me for aftercare. Office runs smoothly and staff is friendly.

I’ve been there twice and have had to see 2 different optometrists and the prescription is still offRx glasses are giving me headaches like no other. I’ve never worn glasses in my 47 years of living on this planet so I did allow time for some adjustments. But this is awful...I’m going to have to choose another optometrist because the prescriptions are too intense. And I’m tired of going back.

VERY disappointing. Have gone here for 4+ years now but we are all done. My husband went for his annual exam and the Optometrist wasnt the best with her bedside manner (Dr. Payne) but fine. When I went to buy the contacts online I learned that she wrote his contact RX incorrectly. I have called for the FOUTH time today to get this fixed. I have no idea why this is so hard. It really isnt that complicated and shouldnt require this much time & effort for such a simple fix. Sad to say I will never use these people again.

Horrific Experience.I set up an appointment to get an eye exam, and purchase Contact Lenses and a pair of glasses. My initial appointment I did not have my insurance information. I got my card on me, came back and rescheduled so they would have a full 24 hours to validate. My insurance is a marketplace plan, purchased from a company called Golden Rule, serving United Healthcare, with Spectera providing the vision portion. Its very good insurance.The bigoted women working the counter treated me like a child that didnt know anything, and rejected it; on site. I guess people in Vans look too young to have insurance. I came back the following day and they had actually noted in my record that I did not have insurance and that they were out of network for Golden Rule. So, they didnt even bother checking it. I had left one of my cards with them to assist, and even pointed out that my group ID number and everything. I immediately left after being rejected, of course.Moments later, I received a call from a very apologetic doctor who had confirmed my insurance herself (she had the time...her 9:45 had walked out on her) and had no explanation why her staff said what they did.Dr. - I recommend firing your whole office staff and hire some intelligent people, who dont have opinions about your income producing patients.

I used Dr Jordan and Master Eye Associates for several years. In the beginning, the service was good. Then it began to slowly decline. The front desk staff was less helpful, Dr Jordan was more rushed and less friendly and the office did not seem as clean. My health insurance did not cover eye exams, so I was a cash patient. I always paid for my exam at the time of service in full. Then last year I went on Medicare and a Medicare Supplement, which does cover eye exams. I was told they would bill Medicare and my Medicare supplement for me. Then I received a bill for $69.00. I called the office to find out if my insurance had been billed. That was when I found out that the cost of my exam had more than doubled. When I ask why; I was told because, you are now a Medicare patient not a cash patient. I tried to talk to a young girl named Gabby in the billing department, but that was pointless. All she could tell me was that is what we charge Medicare. I requested that Dr Jordan call me back. When she did, I explained my bill had doubled and what had already been paid by Medicare was more than my total bill had previously been. Plus,I was still being billed $69 more. In other words I was being punished for having insurance coverage! She said she would adjust the bill, but that I would need to send a payment for my $20 co-pay. I said fine and send them a check for $20. Now a whole year later, I got a bill from a collection agency for $49! I called the office to find out what was going on. I again talked to Gabby. I ask why I was getting a bill now. She said because the company they were previously using had not been sending out bills on time. I ask if she could see that I talked to Dr.Jordan last year about the billing amount. She said yes, but I had refused to pay. I told her Dr. Jordan had said the bill would be adjusted, and I just needed to send my co-pay, which I did. She could see the my payment for the $20 made after Dr Jordan and I talked, but that didt matter. Basically, Gabby said I was lying. I have an excellent credit score and have always paid them on time, but that did not matter. THEY HAVE LOST MY BUSINESS AND YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY. IF THEY WILL DO ME THIS WAY THEY MAY DO THE SAME THING TO YOU!

Quick walk-in scheduling, awesome staff, quick exam!

Made my appointment for 545 I was running late because I work in North austin and normally would have been fine but it started storming so it made it a little harder when I called to let them know I was told the dr. Was gone she had a meeting at 6. So let me get this right you scheduled me for a 545 appointment but te dr. Was going to leave at 6 meaning my appointment was going to be 15min they were not going to dilate me but rather take a scan of my retina and push me through the door with an eye glasses rx in 15 min. Or less is what they were hoping for and then charge me 89.00 dollars for 15 min of exam. Glad I didnt make it. Dr. Xavier obviously does not care and cant wait to leave early. It was my second time there and she left the first time was when I went in to make the appointment not closing time but she was gone. As a former opthalmic assistant (thats MD not optometrist) I can tell you NO EYE EXAM EVER TAKES 15MIN!! The level of care is not on any level and care is not the word I would use!! Unless paired with dont as in they dont care!! Apparently my appointment was in they way of their personal business.
