Really cute little store and workshop. I wish it was a little more hands on but we had a good experience. Picking your vessel is the hardest part!

What a great new place at the Domain. They have a great selection of candles along with notebooks, journals and other giftable items. We took part in there pour your own candle option. They walk you through choosing a vessel, picking a scent, mixing the wax, setting the wicks and pouring the wax. Its a nice way to spend time with someone and you get to leave with a candle you designed. Also dont be fooled by the address the store is located off of Rock Rose right next to Hat Creek Burgers.

We had a great time making our candles in November and I can’t wait to come back again. This is a great date option!

I love this place! I’ve gone twice and am obsessed with the scents you can choose from. Both candles smell amazing and permeate through my entire house. The experience is a fun girls night event to do before dinner. If you even sort of kind of a little bit like candles you must try this place!

I love the candle that I made at The Candle Bar! It is sooo fragrant, and there were so many vessels to choose from. The staff was super friendly, and the class started right on time. I went on a whim, but I could see this being a really fun experience for a networking event, girls night, or even a date!

My teenage granddaughter and I had a great experience choosing our scents and pouring our own candles. The shop also has some unique gifts to choose from. It was an hour well-spent with a staff that made our visit a pleasant one.

Super cute store that sells everything you need to make your own hand made candles. They have a greater variety of sents to add to your candles and a lot of different cute pots to make them on. They also offer workshops on site! The staff is very friendly and the store looks very nice! Perfect place to get gifts for friends or family!

I went to one of their candle pours, and the experience itself was very fun! I picked a great scent I was really excited about. However, when I picked up my candle and took it home to burn, I was really disappointed. There is absolutely no scent to the candle (and I remember even pouring the oil heavy). I can literally stick my nose right next to the flame, and at most all I smell is the wax. Really disappointing!

Someone moved the wicks on my candle to the edge of the jar after I left. I now have a $40 candle I cant burn.

Wow. What an unpleasant/disappointing experience. Its tough to get 6/7 moms out of the house on the same night. Our neighborhood mom group planned ahead/hired babysitters, a month in advance to go here. I made our reservation for 6 & was never told about the time restrictions/offered a reminder of, be here by 6:45 & if youre later than 7:05 you cant participate. Would have been nice to know upfront or included in an email confirmation/reminder. When asked why they didnt tell us the rules in advance the response was, its on our website. Most of our kids had meltdowns when leaving among other things like traffic/late babysitters/parking. Regardless, our 1st friend arrived at 6:45 & was told at 6:53 to text her friends. Myself & friend arrived at 6:59, another at 7:01. We were told our 5th friend couldnt participate if she didnt arrive by 7:05 so we scrambled to fill out her paperwork & she arrived at 7:07. Our last friend was looking for parking following a late work meeting. We were told the doors lock at 7:10p & no one else is allowed in. w/ this info she turned around, went home at 7:12p to relieve her babysitter. So disheartening for us & our friend. The manager Folade Speaks said our friend could receive a gift card if she couldnt be there @7:10. We offered to pick her vessel & scent so she would be caught up & to not hold up others. Folade seemed very off put by this & said we would also need to pour her candle for her. This seemed odd b/c she would have been there when we poured the candles which was anticlimactic to say the least. The instructor mostly stayed at the only other table behind us so we couldnt see her to follow along. She only came over if we had questions/fell behind b/c we couldnt see what she was doing. I got up to use the restroom & when I got back I was met by the instructor & another redheaded woman who said, Um, our bathrooms are out of order. I quickly apologized & said I wasnt aware. The woman said, Well, there is a sign on the door. Like I was some kind of idiot. This encounter all happened in front of my friends/everyone in class. I was extremely embarrassed. They never made an announcement/apologized/offered a solution for their restrooms @ the beginning of this very timely class. The lack of overall communication about the whole process left much to be desired. I went to see the small sign on the bathroom door. The bathrooms were unlocked, w/ the lights on/worked perfectly so Im still confused. They said the apts above are having plumbing issues & we were to leave the store, walk to the heavily kid friendly place next door & use the restroom there. Granted we were all trying to escape kids for the night. As far as the candle pouring, you literally stick the pre-made wick to the bottom, pour a pre-made scent, pour a pre-made wax, mix, & pour it into your vessel. Thats it. We paid an $8 corkage fee to screw off the top of the 1 bottle of wine we split between the 5 of us. At 7:52, we were asked to leave the candle tables & go to the front of the store to finish our drinks. Mostly so they could clean up & leave themselves. We asked if we could bring our friend her gift card. Folade said our friend, forfeited the right to her gift card as she needed to actually show up in person before 7:10 to claim it & she assumed we were going to pour her candle for her even though she made it seem like it wasnt an option. I asked Folade why she didnt intervene/communicate w/ us when she didnt see us pouring our friends candle. Her response was I dont know. She never offered any other reconciliation & refused to give us her gift card. We offered to quickly pour her candle in the 8mins we had left & she refused saying candle pouring is over. She never offered a pre-made candle from their shop or any other options other than her business card. The whole experience ended up being super uncomfortable & really stressful. We will definitely not be returning to/recommending this establishment.
