I cannot recommend NuBrakes enough. I needed work done on my brakes and after reviewing several shops around, I ultimately went with NuBrakes because of the stellar reviews; I’m happy to confirm they are all true. Rene came earlier than expected (which was great for me), finished within an hour, and all I paid was what was quoted prior. Save yourself the headache of looking around at this place or that one and go with NuBrakes, you won’t be disappointed.

The service tech was professional, knowledgeable and earlier than expected. He changed out my rear brakes in 30 minutes or less. I would highly recommend NuBrakes and I will be requesting their services again in the future.

Scheduled for 11am. Text from NuBrakes at 6am while Im asleep rescheduling to 9am without my confirmation. I call back at 8:30am when Im awake to let them know this wont work, needs to be 11am. They say OK. At 10am (?) I get a text saying theyre at my home (but Im not).We reschedule for a different day at 9am. No-showed. When I texted customer support at 10am I got Your ticket has been created, but no human ever responded to me.Not sure what their problem is.

This service is insane. They knocked it out in less then an hour. Even told me which brakes definitely needed to be changed. Best part payed way less then i thought. Will definitely be using them again. O and i live in an apartment complex. Most of the parking spot were taken. With my car sitting between two cars. Didnt even have to move it.

I worked with a gentlemen via text named John..I wasnt sure I had time or what the cost was so we continued to text until it was convenient for me and it seemed more convenient instead of waiting at a dealership, plus the dealerships appointments were to far out. The technician Ashton was to arrive between 1-130p.. Tech advised at 12:55p via text he was on his way. I replied back 👍🏾. He never arrived until 1:52😡. He had my number why not text and say Im running a little late between the time 1-1:30. Needless to say 10% off a brake job and rotor replacement job isnt going to cut it. My time is more valuable. Never again NuBrakes.

Rudy was amazing and helpful when repairing the brakes on my sons vehicle when we were in a time crunch. Rudy provided a good diagnostic of recommended repairs that we expected to hear. We couldnt afford all at once but we will def contact them again for the remaining work. They took it around the block to make sure the brakes were in safe working order after the work was completed. Took less than 90 mins and for at home mobile service, I expected inflated prices but the quoted cost was almost exactly as stated. I use NuWash for their mobile car wash/detailing thru my employer also. They have always been STELLAR! Thank you Rudy and NuBrakes for helping keep my son safe on the road!

I couldn’t be happier. Rudy the tech came on time and actually called ahead and asked if ok to stop by a little early. I have a 2014 Chevy van that I bought with 60,000 miles, it has 112,000 now (4.5 years). I began to hear a squeak on the front brake and before driving to Galveston I wanted to make sure it was taken care of. Rudy pulled the wheels off and inspected and knocked on my door and asked if I was sure I wanted to change pads because I still had about 60% of life left in them. I was amazed because I already put 50,000 on them with some loads. I said what should I do and he suggested I keep these and charge just a service call for 79$. He took off each pad (4) and sanded and cleaned them and greased the proper area. He said the brakes used were of very high quality and should give me another 50,000 . So honest and appreciated, and I know now that I’m good for a long while. Thanks

Richard made sure I had the correct parts for my vehicle and when the parts department gave him something wrong he left and went and got the right part. There was a shortage in parts so they gave him something that didn’t fit my vehicle but he didn’t try to make it fit he made them get the right parts from another location. I would definitely recommend if you need brakes done from the comfort of work, home, or even your kids sporting event.

I had issues with my brakes starting Sunday evening (grinding). They were able to send someone out to be Tuesday morning (which I was fine with since I was in no immediate need to head anywhere). They were communicative throughout the process and transparent about their rates (that were very competitive). I would recommend their service to anyone. While replacing tires on a recently purchased used car, tire guy said front pads were worn but did not look at rear drums/shoes. Called NuBrakes expecting to replace front pads/rotors and rear drums/shoes. Appointment scheduling was done through text and they came right to my house. Bradley did in fact replace the front pads/rotors but when he inspected the rear drums/shoes he said they were fine. I told him about the brakes not engaging right away when pressed and he said that he could make an adjustment to the rear brakes at a much lower cost than drum/shoe replacement. That’s what he did and our brakes (front and rear) are working perfectly. Would certainly recommend and use again.

Located in Austin, TX for reference.During this day and age it’s not easy or worth it to spend time on the weekend, take off, or go get the brakes serviced during my lunch brake and maybe even have to leave it/arrange a ride . This service is so convenient in that you can remotely schedule a cost effective service and be updated consistently by a US/locally based awesome team who even know the ins and outs of what they offer. Everyone there is very supportive and kind. To be able and have someone replace the rotors and pads for 2 wheels under an hour outside my apartment during the workday at 1pm is remarkable. Such a wonderful experience!! Easy to chat online and set an appointment, great communication and arrival time, super friendly service. Terry in customer service and Asheille my technician were fantastic. I was worried my lug nuts were too stripped and nubrakes wouldnt be able to service my vehicle, but Terry went the extra length of asking me to text pictures of the lug nuts to help estimate if they could do it or not. Asheille was very easy to talk to, and very honest. He assessed my problem very quickly, was able to get the lug nuts off (they werent too far stripped) and found out the repairs werent as extensive as I feared and I paid less than I thought I would have to. No one tried to take advantage, or push extra services I didnt need (even though it would have been pretty easy to do.) I would totally use these guys again and recommend them.

I am changing my review from 5 star to 2 star. Reason : I lost the feel of smooth brakes. I complained and someone came and suggested to drive 1000 to 2000 miles so that brakes will adjust. Even after driving few months, still I see some noise and the smoothness of original brakes disappeared. Not happy. Next time, definitely will try to go to dealer.

Extremely happy and highly recommend this company. Matt was the technician sent out today to assess and do a brake job on my BMW 328d. He showed up early, was very professional, knowledgeable, and offered options and advice that wound up saving me money. The quote I got from the BMW shop was twice the cost and Matt let me know that the front brakes and rotors were not needed at this time but did a full replacement on the back axle. He went out of his way to drive the car before and after the job to make sure my concerns were addressed, and even waited after he was done to allow me to test drive the car for my approval of the work he had done! Very impressed with these guys. Mechanic(Rudy) arrived on time and was very professional and thorough. He answered all my questions, made sure he didnt leak any fluids or lay greased parts on my driveway. I had all four rotors (recommended) and the brake pads replaced, and I definitely saved money by not taking it to an actual repair shop. And I saved time by not having to sit in one of those repair facility waiting rooms! Will definitely use them again on my other vehicles.

Ive been a Nubrakes customer for about a year now. They serviced my 2010 Infiniti QX56 (which I later sold). This time, they serviced my 2016 Nissan Altima. Will always use NuBrakes from now on. Firestone quoted me $1500 on parts that were still in warranty it was going to take a week to fix. NuBrakes charged less than $350 and it fixed it.
