Holy mother of bagels! First time trying this place and was not disappointed. Although prices are a tad steep the portions are generous and everything was delicious. The bagels was incredibly fresh. Ordered online on a weekday and had no trouble with order pickup. Looking forward to trying different items on their menu. A true east side gem, do yourself a favor and give it a try!

Best bagels in Austin! I visited a few spots that were recommended but no other place has bagels that remind me of NY like Rockstar Bagels! I would highly recommend. The Lox on garlic with chive cream cheese was heavenly! Don’t bother going anywhere else, definitely get your bagels from this spot. You might have to wait a little for your food but it is certainly worth it.

Placed on hold when trying to place an order ahead of time. Nearly 30 minutes waiting. Finally drove to the location and explained about how Im still on hold on the phone as we speak and here i see the staff casually taking orders for customers arriving in line while Im still on hold. Had a smart @** attitude while taking my order and brushed it off. The food was good but the service just kind of ruined my whole experience.

Was kind of disappointed in their classic breakfast sandwich. I have had their bagels for years and have always been a fan but the sandwich was pretty lackluster (bagel was the best part and it wasnt even close). Bacon was super greasy, eggs were dry and the cheese had no flavor at all.Next time if I want a breakfast sandwich I will probably buy their bagel and make the sandwich myself.On a highpoint though, the toasted everything bagel with some plain cream cheese always hits the spot.

Not the best bagel experience. We waited an hour to get our bagels and they came out extremely messy. The bagels are also “meh”. Definitely would prefer other bagel shops around town to these.

The only real downside for me was the separation the customer feels with the staff because of COVID restrictions and COVID decisions made by the establishment itself, frankly.Other than that, the bagels are great. I got everything and plain bagels to go. They have a good baker’s dozen policy.Parking is scant, and turning into the gravel lot is a bit tricky from certain directions, but you won’t be disappointed with what you came for.

Finally got to give this place a try. First 2 times it was way overloaded with cream cheese and was a mess everywhere. If there was an option to receive cream cheese/toppings on sides, that would be great. Tried the 3rd time but with special note to go light on cream cheese and it was still way too much for me. Maybe I will try calling next round and tell them personally to just put cream cheese on side. Other than that, they taste great and quick service.

Ordered online and it said 30 min. Waited and saw there was no one waiting so my husband went up to the window and he got told it would be 20 min… the app said it would be ready at 12:11 he gets off at 12:15 and they said it would be another 35 min!!! Apparently they are having issues with the app… but why say it’ll be ready then make us wait to not even try to get it ready! Wasted an hour when we could of been on our drive back 6 hours. My daughter loves bagels and it sucks, we could of gone elsewhere to get her one now its too late to get her one because they closed.

Hard to find bagels Im Austin, let alone amazing bagels.Perfect texture. Not too chewy and the combos are just delightful. Like the one with Jam.

I really enjoy the bagels here, they offer unique and interesting options and the bagels are always generously filled and delicious. In particular I really like the lox but the brisket bagel is worth trying. There isn’t really anywhere to sit at the location so I would recommend getting it to go during middle of the summer or winter. Hours are limited to just the morning so it’s perfect to grab a bagel on your way to work.

The bagels are always great here. I especially like the rosemary ones. There was a wait last time due to some confusion during their remodeling, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Hopefully, after the remodeling is done theyll be back better than ever!

Cashiers are incompetent. Walked up to buy a bagel and cream cheese. Told to wait 45 minutes!?!?! I clarified I just want to pick a non toasted bagel and a side of cream cheese. Asked to wait 30 minutes as they were servicing online orders. Nuts. Plus the workers were self righteous holes!

Best bagel combos my wife and I have ever eaten! In addition, their customer service is way above beyond. My wife is hospitalized and was craving one of their cream cheese, lox and caper bagels. I was on my way back to our home 2 1/2 hours away so I ordered her one through a delivery service in error. Instead of just cancelling my order, the owner delivered it himself! Amazing food...Amazing people!

Moved from Ny a few months ago. Woke up craving a bagel and was recommended this place. The lox one with capers is delicious and I ate it too fast to take a pic lol. Everything bagel with bacon egg and cheese (pictured with filter) was decent. A bit dry. Bagels are pretty good quality though.

Delicious bagel sandwiches, most days theres a little bit of a wait (only about 10-15 minutes) Center of the bagel was slightly underdone but with raisins added it could just be the extra moisture. Bacon cream cheese is a game changer, absolutely amazing but the eggs were overly salty.

My favorite combo is the rosemary salt bagel roasted with veggie cream cheese. SO good. Dont forget to order ahead, especially on the weekends!

The day before my bar exam, I ordered a bagel with vegan cream cheese because I am lactose intolerant. And after eating half of my order, I conferred with friends. It was not a vegan cream cheese bagel, but a regular bagel. It caused so much digestive chaos that I am still reaping today three days later. Caveat emptor re alleged vegan cheese.

Waited 2 hours and 20 minutes before Rockstar Bagel canceled the Uber eats order due to being busy. Extremely unprofessional. Will not be ordering from here again and will let everyone know how poor of service/communication we received.

Really wanted a local bagel and glad I found rockstar. I ordered the fort never (ham, cream cheese and peach jam). Bagel had that perfect chew and the combination of flavors was phenomenal. Don’t know where they get that ham but still thinking about it hours later. Standing ovation rockstar bagels!

LOVE THESE BAGELS!!! Joey the owner is just as much a rockstar as his bagels are. They’re made the way they’re supposed to be made. The old school way. Do yourself a favor and have the Rosemary salt ones. You can thank me later.

Rockstar’s bagels are delicious, but two big problems: they no longer take orders at the window, and it takes 75 minutes to simply get a toasted bagel with cream cheese — no bagel is worth that long of a lead time. Maybe try placing your order the day before!

Easily the worst bagel and sausage bagel sandwich Ive eaten. I was super excited because it smelled so delicious and had really good reviews, but it was extremely bland. The cream cheese is at least delicious though! Maybe Ill try them again in the future, but for now, I was really disappointed.

These guys can make fantastic bagels. They didnt have our order ready for pick-up when we got there, but apologized and immediately got it ready. They even threw in an extra bagel for free, despite only having to wait an extra 2 minutes. The cream cheese is fantastic and the deal they have for day old bagels is phenomenal.

Rockstar Bagels is very delicious. I got the Fort Never on the Rosemary Salt bagel and Im not disappointed. The service was decent and I have no complaints. The only thing is the iced coffee wasnt too good,but I cant really dock them because they use Coffee Traders . Overall, I would totally come again.

Weirdest bagel shack ever. Wholly Bagels was where I ended up and their bagels are spectacular, not all covid creeped out. Nice normal folks at Wholly, I promise. You can walk up and order 2 bagels to go, pay, and scoot. Wear aask and all but not panicking over covid and whatnot.

We absolutely loved it here. We ordered a veggie bagel sandwich and jalapeño bagel with chive cream cheese. Their cream cheese was so delicious and everything including the veggies in the sandwich was super fresh and tasted really good.

I stood at the window for 5 minutes while the lady was on her cell phone. She then asked if we were there to pick up or place an order. I told her Id like to place an order, to which she replied we are only doing orders by phone or online. What difference does it make if you take my order threw your window vs if you take my order threw the window while we are on the phone? Its asinine and illogical.

Bagels are okay, smaller than expected based on the price. (To my fellow New Yorkers, i wouldn’t really classify it as a New York style based on this). Also, pickup staff seemed incredibly inconvenienced/condescending when I arrived to pickup my order. Figured based on the other reviews they would be friendlier 🤷🏻‍♂️ will stick to wham bam

I am a RN at a local hospital. This morning, Rockstar Bagels dropped of bagels for the entire staff. I had a plain bagel, and it was the best bagel I have ever had. Thank you so much for breakfast! We all appreciate you very much!

I dont know what people mean about amazing service - it was terrible. This morning we ordered at 9:51 (after the hassle of their ordering system requiring multiple refreshes as it froze), were promised a pickup at 10:36, and when we got there had to wait until 10:45 until our order was ready. 45 minutes is a LONG TIME to wait for two bagels with cream cheese and an iced tea - most bagel shops cranks that out in what, five minutes, ten with a line? For it to be nine minutes late was insult upon injury.That said, the food is amazing. The bagels have that perfectly chewy outside and doughy inside. The bacon cream cheese is just bacon-ey enough but not oppressive.

I typically dont crave bagels when I am hungry however Rockstar Bagels has changed my thinking ever since I stopped by and picked up a Lox with the Works. I chose the Everything bagel with chive cream cheese and added avocado. They are friendly, fast and most importantly, the bagels are delicious!

Good food and good people. Had an issue with an uber eats order and an employee called me personally to clear things up. Great attentive service.

Horrible ordering experience. Showed up on time for scheduled pickup, was told it would be an extra 20 mins. Still wasn’t ready in that timeframe. Also, Confirmation email says to walk up to tent, signage on site says to wait for text. Confusing. You’re not new, what’s the deal?

I am absolutely married to rockstar bagel and wake up every Saturday craving the Fort Never. Only drawback is that right now you can only order online and it’s always 1hr+ wait time. Release the bagels!!!!!

These bagels are incredible! Always fresh and served with a warm friendly smile. Their Lox with the Works on an everything bagel using chive cream cheese is phenomenal! I’d eat it every morning if I wasn’t concerned about increasing the size of my booty and blowing out all my pants! 😂If you just want a bagel without all the extra toppings, try the everything bagel with the peach basil cream cheese, yes I said peach basil cream cheese on a savory bagel... you’d be surprised how good it actually is!

Get there early because these bagels are so good they will sell out. I had a rosemary salt bagel toasted with butter and peach basil cream cheese and I would eat this again and again and never get tired of it. Prices are very reasonable.

The bagels are delicious, especially the namesake (on Everything, with bacon). Rockstar Bagels has enough variety to satisfy what you want, but not so many options that you have no idea what to choose. The service is excellent and helpful, though I will say that the wait time for the order can be a bit excessive.

Great spot to grab some bagels and coffee. You might want to show up early or order online early as they can run out of bagels quick. Just that good I guess! Also they have pizza now, but have not had the chance to try it. Dont matter, I come here for the bagels so 5 star even if the pizza was no good.

Online says they have vegan eats, get there and the vegan options are a piece of lettuce because they don’t have a single bagel that isn’t vegan. What’s the point of saying you have vegan cream cheese if you’re going to put dairy and eggs in everything. Glad there was a juiceland on the same street.Your employ told me when I asked which bagels were vegan, so yeah I’ll come see you and hope you train your staff better.

Sunday morning order, online system gave us 2 of the first order and deleted my lox order, waited an extra 30 minutes for order on site. Got home with not what we ordered and bagels were small hard tasteless with poor smear quality, not worth the price or the drive or the time, one and done.
