I found the ring sling of my dreams (on sale), got one on one instruction on how to properly wear it, and found some super comfy nursing clothes that will last me beyond nursing, probably. I dont live in austin, but Ill be back to this store for myself and for baby shower gifts. They have absolutely everything a nursing mother needs! No other store like it!

Wonderful family owned store. Happened upon this after going to lakeline to try to go to several maternity stores, all closed down. Clean, restroom for the preggies (thank you!!) and such friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of high quality maternity wear of all types. Many undergarment choices, support belts etc. and even super cute baby clothes! Private dressing rooms, nice ambiance and lighting, the mirrors/lighting don’t make you feel bad about your body whilst trying on clothes. Highly recommend!

The customer service was excellent, but the inventory was scarce and I think the business might benefit from offering items in more price points. I was shopping for leggings - something I consider to be a pregnancy staple - and I couldnt find anything in my size and the only options (2) were in the $80+ price range. I think this is too far from being competitive to online pricing - even when considering that some customers are willing to pay a premium for the excellent customer service. The boutique is beautiful and offered a nice selection of baby clothes and staples for bringing home a new edition. It is worth a visit for expecting moms with a flexible budget seeking one on one help in finding maternity clothing and staples for bringing home a special addition!

Super friendly staff from my initial call up to and including meeting with the owner. This is more than a top notch maternity store. They offer classes from lactation to introducing pets to the special addition in your family. The store offers private space for feeding babies. The store is super clean, well lit and well merchandised. Please support this local business!

This place is amazing and worth every penny. As opposed to the other stores like buy buy baby, or babies r us, this store is much more personable and caring. Good quality everything, rental slings and wraps, in case you dont know what size you want or if you even want it. The store is well kept, clean, the staff is knowledgeable and the lady who I think is in charge of the store (didnt catch her name) takes her time to actually talk to you and give you valuable information. I definitely will be back for lactation consulting, and many more things they have to offer. This place is great all around.

This is a very cute little store. They even have a nursing room for moms to relax in or while waiting for a LC (lactation consultant). The bathroom and changing area is very clean as well. They do breast pump rentals and have supplies if you need, and the selection of nursing supplies is good. Shop local.

I went here to pick up some stuff for my sister (at home with newborn) and the owners were so friendly and knowledgeable. I was very please with their service and will definitely be back. I only wish I knew of this store when I was pregnant or had my newborns, they have everything from maternity clothing, to pumps, to food supplies, to baby clothes!

On Easter Sunday they opened the store for me so I could get a pump rental for my wife who delivered our premature son just a couple days earlier. Who does that anymore? Great people who really care about the family. They made a customer and promoter of their business for life.

I am so grateful for the knowledge, compassion and continued support from Susan, wonderful lactation specialist, meeting with her has been game changing. I feel more prepared to continue our breastfeeding journey. It means so much to us. I had general new mom anxieties, cluelessness and a blocked duct! I now have to tools and confidence to face any hiccup and the security knowing that I can reach out for help in the future. Her advice and reassurance have been priceless. Thank you.

We owe a big thank you to Special Addition for resolving our breastfeeding issues. We saw Cheryl Heymans, Lactation Consultant Extraordinaire. After just two sessions we were successfully breastfeeding. Cheryls commitment to her clients is amazing. She offered follow up phone calls which we agreed to and she proceeded to call us every few days asking how things were going and offering up more helpful advice. Itd been weeks since wed seen Cheryl and she still called with more help and advice. She truly went above and beyond what we believed was already a great offering in the store. By the way, the rest of the staff at SA is very sweet and helpful Bronwyn helped us weigh and re-weigh our daughter before and after feedings in the store and always with a smile and a helpful hand. The store and staff are just incredible. Check it out!

I see what GiGi is saying though weather ur license ..govt or not etc..for a first time visitor u would think u would ask those questions as the owner or store representive...u should ask is this your first time and say this is how it works. inform all ur clients of their options and your prices... ive been to different places including Moms place and weather u are governent or not or private you should always inform ur clients. So you should be apologizing not insulting or making some statement ..the point was she werent informed through phone appt or at the front desk when she got there so do better. By the way there are license counselors also at places like Moms place too they get paid too through the govt and they file insurance claims for their clients. Its a first for everything yours happened to take 20 years so good job...

Lack of informing u that u have to pay for consultatiin. I recently went today for breastfeeding consulatation and was referred by a pediatrician doctor. The service was okay saw kristen she was great. but nobody mentions there will be a fee of 95$ over the phone when u setting up the appt or after u get there or nothing. no one said anything of any fees. thats important to know so after consultation laction consulatant and checkout desk just tell u at the end what u owe. Tip: let clients know the fees so we can be prepared or choose to come here. I was use to going to the Moms Place where its free cause they file ur insurance claim for u so this being my first time here i didnt know of any fees...! it was very expensive considering an hour of help that i could of got for free instead without the hassle. So for that only two stars given. unplanned ..unexpected.. money i could of saved or better prepared for it.

The workers were very helpful helping me find a maternity belt. I will visit again.
