By far the most incredible experience Ive had with an automotive business!!I originally inquired through a car group on facebook asking who should I take my classic BMW to for repairs. After a couple days I was contacted by Michael stating that he works for this little shop whos owner worked for BMW North America and would absolutely love to work on my car.He was adamant about stopping by and looking at the vehicle in person if I didnt mind. What happened next blew my mind...Not only Michael, but the owner came to see the vehicle in person. His analysis was in depth and informative, answering every question and calming all my reservations. I agreed to do business with this shop based on my initial impression.During the process, Rey and Michael both stayed in touch keeping me informed the entire time through the entire process.The vehicle was done right, instead of right now... I cant stress enough- Precision Auto Body will have my business and my families business for life.

Unfortunately, my car was rear-ended twice in a year. The folks at Precision Auto Body restored it both times to as-new condition. They do great quality work and are good people. If your car needs body repair, go here (and dont miss all the rare, high-end, sports cars being refurbished but know they will treat whatever car you bring in as important as the rarest Ferrari, Lambo, or Porsche).

The team at precision is absolutely stellar. While my vehicle was in their care, they took the time to continuously update me on progress and any potential setbacks going on with the repair. Despite a massive hit, my car looks just as good if not better than when I purchased it. While I hope that I never have to take my car to a body shop again, this would be the only place I’d trust to get work done.

By far, hands down the best automotive personnel I have ever, ever encountered. Caring, friendly, accommodating, thorough, helpful, incredible hospitality from beginning to end. I was told before I dropped off my vehicle over 2 weeks ago that all the parts were in and available to fix my wrecked car and now its going on 3 weeks and I still am not able to pick up my car because in fact the parts are not all in and they are still waiting on some or one or who knows. I feel like I was played and lied to in order to get me to drop off my vehicle there to get repairs when the parts where not available and have to wait over 3 weeks to get my car back.

I cannot recommend this body shop enough. Theyve helped me out twice. First, with a dented bumper and then with replacing my headlights. Super friendly, fast, and most importantly affordable. I shopped around and they were by far the best value. I dont know much about cars and Im so reassured theres a local shop that wont take advantage of me. I think part of it is that theyre independent (not part of a chain) and so they have more flexibility to focus on quality and not quantity of customers in and out. Thank you Precision Auto Body!

Oddly enough, I drove by this shop almost everyday for four years, its in my neighborhood. I never had a need for a body shop. Then out of no where both mine and my husbands car needed work. The lot at the shop is always filled to the brim with cars. I called hoping they could fit one of the cars in and they said it would be no problem to handle both. My husbands CC was turned around in 48 hours! My car took a little longer but that was completely the manufacturers issue. The work is impeccable. I can honestly say no else will be working on my familys cars as long as I live in Austin. Thank you to Joyce, Zach and the team at Precision Auto body for going above and beyond with our cars!

I cannot say enough good things about Persicion Auto Body!! They were extremely helpful through out the whole process after I was unfortunately rear ended. They did excellent work painting, welding, making sure all body lines look OEM, contacting insurance and maintaining to update me the whole time! They even went the extra mile and found some codes and exhaust leak that I had no idea about!! I brought my car yesterday due to damaged fender liner after 5PM. I could kinda tell that they were getting ready to close up and they did tell me they started closing 5 PM, instead of 6 PM. Still they stayed little late for me which I was so grateful after visiting 2 locations that were open according to google, but actually closed. They made calls to get fender liner no one in Austin had in stock, found one in San Antonio, and tried to get it shipped as soon as possible. They actually stayed extra late until my lyft driver picked me up to make sure I had a way to get home safely. They said maybe tomorrow, maybe Thursday (because of fender liner not being in town) so I assumed it was going to be Thursday-- but they actually had my car fixed and ready to go today! The staff I met were all kind and professional.Would recommend to anyone who has car problem! Superb customer service, good price, timeliness, and great professionalism!

These guys helped me out in a real pinch. I was coming to Austin from San Antonio for a long weekend/mini-vacation. The morning I left I wasnt completely watching what I was doing as I backed out of a parking space. My entire front right corner of my 4Runners bumper scraped across a yellow painted wood pole. In my head I was like, Man! Thats going to really cost me. But since I was headed to Austin, I was Ill deal with it next week. Just enjoy your weekend. But it bugged me all the way to Austin. As I turned on the street where I was staying I saw Precision and pulled in to ask how much it would be to fix. Rey the General Manager came out and looked at my bumper and he assured me that it was no big deal. He got one of his guys to come out and work on the bumper. He was done in less than 10 minutes. I couldnt believe it. My bumper looked awesome. Barely a noticeable scratch. And the price was right too. Thanks to the guys at Precision for taking such good, and immediate, care of my 4Runner. Sorry I didnt take a before and after photo. I would totally recommend this company.

I cannot speak enough about the attention to detail Phillip and his crew gave to my repairs. Probably the most detail any company has ever given me. Two days after buying a car I got rearended (person bumped into me going only a few mph). The damage wasnt severe but I needed a new bumper and the rear panel had to be repainted. Phillip knew I wanted it to look brand new... so he demanded that Subaru provide a part that was 100% free of any small blemish. He took the time to call me to explain that Subaru provided a black plastic part that had a 1 centimeter blemish (very very minor) and asked me if I wanted Subaru to send a different part. I said sure because I wasnt in a hurry. The part ended up perfect. Nobody else would have bothered to get a different part - which is what makes this company so great.Next came the paint. Phillip and his team noticed that the official silver paint Subaru prescribes does not perfectly match with the rest of the car. He explained to me that a Subaru Outback bumper is not made of steel like the rest of the car panels. Therefore, the bumper will end up with an ever-so-slightly different color hue when you apply the same exact paint as the rest of the car. Almost nobody would ever tell a difference but Phillip did. He spoke directly with the Subaru paint specialists and worked out a formula to match the bumber 100% perfectly with the rest of the car panels. The end result was a paint that matched better than a brand new car. That attention to detail is incredible. Lastly, they did all this in a few days. Dropped it off on a Thursday picked it up on Monday.Longest review Ive ever left - sorry. Im writing this nearly a year after they fixed my car because I need to clear my conscience. I often think back about how great of a service they provided and I feel bad for not letting others know how legit Precision Auto is. So there you have it. If you are looking for a body shop that will make bring your car back to life perfectly call these guys.

It has been my pleasure to have experience with the wonderful folks at Precision Auto Body on three separate occasions for three different things. In all my interactions, I was listened to, and given very exacting estimates. Joyce in the office is a treasure and will take excellent care of you with all the paperwork, insurance, or even getting a ride.I have had some engine work done here that is now over a year old and my car is running like a top. It was time consuming labor and they kept my costs as low as possible.I had to have body work done after I was sideswiped in a parking lot. I love my car and it was stressful to hear what had to be done. However, you can not even tell the car was wounded. The paint job matches the old painT flawlessly and my car is 12 years old! These guys are masters at their craft, and they truly care about you and your car.Recently, I went by because the driver side arm rest of my car had broken off. The little plastic parts holding it on and the design of the door handle all playing the role in this disaster. The boys took a look at it. A new arm rest was going to cost several hundred dollars, but, the shop boys put on their thinking caps and came up with an incredible solution that will last as long as I keep the car and did not charge me for the fix.As I said, these people are home town gold. I highly recommend their work and their company. It’s nice to know there are still people who believe in honesty and customer service!!

Precision Auto Body of Austin is the only body shop Ill ever use. They took care of me and my 2009 Subaru Outback like family. They have the most skilled, professional and ethical staff of practically any business of any type Ive encountered. They also had my back in one of the most stressful car repair situations I could imagine.Precision staff, in a team effort, stepped up in the most incredible way, and showed that their actions matched their claims about being passionate about customer service. They are all knowledgeable, patient, approachable and enthusiastic about their jobs. Rey Hernandez, the owner, sets the standards for his staff, lets them do their jobs, but steps in wherever is needed to back them up.Joyce, at the customer service desk, took the initiative on all fronts and coordinated the towing charges, rental car company schedule, and maintained contact with the insurance company on the “repair vs. total/salvage” determination. She knows the rules in dealing with these entities, and made the contacts to ensure they followed through. She also contacted Enterprise car rental to assure them my car was still on their shop, awaiting consensus on repairs. Precision worked with Enterprise, which meant I was never called to return the car or start paying for the rental myself. All the while, the insurance company never returned my calls or e-mails, about any aspect of my claim. By default, Precision became the liaison between me and the insurer. Eventually the insurers paid for the entire 30-day rental.Last, but not least, Precision staff facilitated negotiations on the insurance company’s hasty decision to “total” the car and take it for salvage. Precision’s folks provided repair options that the insurance company had not been focusing on, and I kept my car, which the shop wizards repaired beyond my expectations.What can you say about folks like this? Their customers are not numbers, but people. They see their company mission as a challenge to cut through red tape and get the job done right, and they have the motivation, skills and ethics to follow through. No wonder one review site calls them one of the 10 Best Body Shops in Austin. Id put them at #1.

Precision Auto Body provided excellent, professional, & timely service while working through a difficult insurance claim that I was involved in earlier this year. Despite the car being originally deemed totaled, Precision went above and beyond to figure out a way to safely repair the damage while staying within the insurance limits and kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. I am so grateful for a local auto body shop that is looking out for their customers. If I do have any future body repairs, I will certainly return to Precision!

I was impressed by how smooth the whole process was. Great customer service , I would give 100/10. They had excellent communication through out the process and my repairs took only a couple days and they did a perfect job. Joyce reassured me that they would take good care of my car and she also helped me with the third party insurance. The process took lesser time than I anticipated and Im really happy I decided to go to Precision auto body. I had heard great things and reviews and they were all 200% correct😊. My car was even cleaned and detailed and looks as good as brand new.

Communications from Joyce were proactive and regular. When it came time to collect my vehicle I was thrilled with the quality of the work as they returned my vehicle to its prior condition. I have used Precision twice this year because of their attention to detail in bringing my son’s car back to its new condition. I am truly amazed at their customer service. Joyce always makes sure everything is communicated with me and that everything is properly done with insurance etc. I’m in Dallas and Joyce has taken great care of my son. She made sure it was seamless to get the rental car and return it. It was such a stress relief for him. He also needed the car in 2 weeks since he was coming home for Christmas and it was completed. First time I have ever received calls from the technician updating us on the progress. I will always use Precision to repair my son’s car.

Great service!!! They are certified through multiple manufactures. They fixed my 2019 Honda Civic, over $9000 in repairs, my car is the same as new after the repairs!!! Highly recommended, I found them through the Honda website. What I first loved about Precision is that they do not pay their employees commission based like most franchise body shops do. Never go where your insurance tells you to go, I learned my lesson from the past!!

10 STARS if I had them to give! I can not even describe how far above and beyond Precision Auto Body went to take care of me after an accident with a semi truck that was not my fault. They fought the insurance company, found me a rental car when everyone was telling me there were none available, continually nudged the insurance company until I received payment for everything I deserved, even after I had picked up the finished car. Im so grateful for making what would have been a wildly stressful situation much easier to deal with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

I just got my car back from Precision Auto Body and they did an amazing job! Ive never been in a wreck and Rey was super helpful in telling me what to get done and how to do it (dealing with insurance/police department, etc.)! They did a great job on the exterior of my car and even gave me periodic updates on how the repairs were going. The customer service was amazing and Joyce handled all issues with the insurance and rental car service with ease. I highly recommend taking your car here, they make the annoyance of car trouble a little less stressful!

Very impressed with the service and the quality of the work Precision was able to provide. They were on my side throughout the whole process, keeping tabs on my repair and a supplement down the line, and only used OEM parts. They were always willing to keep me updated on the status of my repair, and were even kind enough to let me store my car while I was on a long trip. Best of all, everyone who works here is genuinely nice and friendly, and oriented toward great customer service. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

Got into an accident in our brand new subaru outback. Our first time navigating this type of repair process and working with insurance company. They were not only extremely helpful but they were also very patient and kind to my wife and I during this stressful time. This shop is great. They are honest and trust-worthy, friendly, and very reasonably priced. I took my BMW there about 3 times, and each time it was an actual pleasure to do business with them. Owner introduced himself to me on my first visit, Micheal was very informative about any issues I had with my vehicle, and Joyce at the front desk was always friendly. I always felt my vehicle was in good hands with them and that I could trust them. When there was one thing they couldnt do (I believe they are mostly a body shop, instead of full-service), they recommended another trust-worthy shop they work with and which turned out to be great as well. Great service!! They did take longer than expected but well worth it!! Insurance paid for junkyard parts!! But Precision Auto Body being factory certified with Ford made it happen with all factory new parts. Ohh!! Also my insurance wanted to put made in china parts on my truck as well!! Ever since I was referred to precision I have been amazed by the workers, staff. Rey, David and of course the one and only mother of the guys Joyce she is awesome. I have taken 4 automobiles there 2 cars 1 truck and 1 SUV 3 of the 4 were brand new and of course was hit from behind, but thankfully for precision auto body man they came out fantastic just like off the show room floor. They are awesome very friendly and very knowledgeable they just dont glance at your vehicle they thorough check out your vehicle and tell you exactly what they will do to it. Precision auto body was amazing!! The insurance company that I had to go thru was extremely difficult and Joyce was absolutely amazing! She helped me get a rental and make sure the insurance company wasn’t screwing me over. Precision went above and beyond to help me thru the process and were always available to answer any questions I had. I had never been in a wreck and had to go thru someone else’s insurance and I’m so glad I picked precision to help me every step of the way.

This auto body will not take responsibility about other situations that occur on your vehicle while under their care like if your stereo system Shuts off while under their care it will not be covered the owner will look at it for 15 min and not cover anything basically saying here go fix it yourself. So make sure when you go here to make sure everything is working properly cause theyll pull the rug under you. I took my car here through word of mouth now Im stuck with a $1,500 system that I do not know what my outcome is gonna be. I am left with a big problem I never had.

Took my 2012 Mazda 6 here and they fixed it good as new! Fast and friendly customer service. Ill be coming here again for regular services and will let my family know about this shop.

Very high quality repair! Just like factory, Thank you Precision!

Precision replaced my bumper and cleaned up my front end after I had a collision in my Silverado . Not only did they do a flawless job, they salvaged as many existing parts as they could to save me money. I thought there was no way they could top this job until my prized Vespa fell over during a rainstorm. Even though motorcycles aren’t their usual project, they agreed to take it on. My Vespa has a very complex matte gray finish and they worked their butts off with different paint manufacturers to get just the right match. Ray personally stayed in touch with me the whole time keeping me up to date on their progress. The portion that was dented was a complex grill section with compound curves; not only did they nail the bodywork, they matched the paint exactly, I literally can’t tell it had happened. Ray stayed true to his very reasonable initial quote, although I suspect it took them more time and effort than he might have imagined. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these folks and I will be a customer here even if it means driving halfway across Texas to get to them.

I dropped off my car to get repaired at this location and they treated me like family, the customer service was spectacular, my car came out looking great and it was all done in a reasonable time.

Believe everything you read in the reviews. Quite frankly if you need a repair and live anywhere near Austin you really dont need to look anywhere else. Quick, excellent work, they handle all the insurance stuff, and super professional and communicative. Not to mention theyre ceritified in any type of car, even high end luxury cars. Theyll treat your Camry like they treat their Lambos, and thats exactly what you would want in a repair shop. Thank you Rey!

I brought my 2005 Acura RL in for a rear bumper repair, front air scoop repair, and general touch up. Rey exceeded my expectations. The work was not covered by insurance, and he gave me a great price with excellent work. I had my rear bumper repaired by another shop a few years ago, and Precision Auto Body did a better job than the other shop. They also buffed out all the scratched and touched up the paint on my car.. I consider myself picky, and my 7 year old car looks almost new! I highly recommend this shop, they do a great job!!

I was having a bad day when I wound up at PAB with front left accident damage, but right away they made me feel like I was going to be taken care of. They did everything right, from the repairs to the customer service. They made my car look like new. They remembered who I was every time I called or came in. They even fixed a couple of minor things unrelated to the accident at no extra cost to me. They did a fantastic job detailing the car inside and out before giving it back to me.What really set them apart was their eagerness to make sure I was satisfied. A prime example - before I left with my repaired vehicle, they asked me to bring the car back in a month so they could make sure they correctly matched the newly painted surfaces to the rest of the car (they did). In a time when it generally appears that customer service is no longer a priority (especially in an industry like automotive repair), its refreshing to see these guys care about you and your car.

I had some body work done after an accident. My request was to get my vehichle back on the road. I had a bumber replaced and some new headlights. Well, the headlights they replaced with a broken bulb, high beams didnt work and they are way out of alignment. What kills me is that David told me twice how much care his techs take and how they are trained to take pride in their work. So they clearly didnt check any of their front end work. I also ended up needing a rear differential replacement. They couldnt have driven it in and out of the shop without noticing it. I drove it straight to Juke and they took care of me.David is a liar. They skimped on the work that was needed. The work they did do was incomplete and careless. I took a chance here and wish I hadnt.

Reys crew has painted several cars for me, including a Pagoda roof 69 280SL, 73 Citroen SM, 73 Porsche 914, Ferrari 360CS...all came out excellent. As someone that worked in a bodyshop many years ago, I appreciate his attention to details and uncompromising mindset (which results in the occasional cost increase...but you get what you pay for!). Its not the most impressive location and the office is not Berlis comfy set up, however; the result are on par with them at a fraction of the price. Fun to drive by and see whats cooking, honda civics, subaru, fords, Ferrari, 328, 355, 365GT, custom 69 corvettes and even a MB 300 Gullwing...certainly an eclectic mix!

The staff, the quality of the work, honesty is outstanding.

I had an accident at midnight and I contacted the owner and he was nice enough to arrange a tow truck and have the car dropped off to his shop and had it all taken care of from there on including dealing with the adjuster without my involvement,along with great service.

If you want your dents pounded out by hammer go here, fast low-grade work and wrecks the paint.
