The two stars is for the tailor as he was the only somewhat helpful employee in the store. Awful customer service overall, it was pretty disappointing. I asked a gentleman if he would help me when he was free and his response was uhh sure. He then proceeded to send someone else my way and she did not seem to want to be there at all. I had already found the tux I needed for a wedding and asked if I could be measured to ensure I start with the right size. She looked me up and down and told me a size based on my body appearance. When I told her I would prefer to actually be measured, she responded with I did just measure you. Then, theres the cashier that rolled her eyes and impatiently told me where the line started when I was standing in the wrong place. Overall, this was one of the worst retail customer service experiences Ive had. If I wasnt forced to buy a specific tux for a wedding, I would have taken my business somewhere else.

So was about to be done with K&G. But now because of Ms Purple Im happy and feeling more comfortable with this process. The real issue with this store was Victor but now with him no longer working here, no issues. Ms Purple is awesome!!!!! She is the one to see if u new to the whole buying a suit and need help.

Very nice greeting when I walked in and Very nice staff serving in the dressing room. Large variety, but not much in the way of plus size in my tastes. I tried on two things that said 1X but fit like a European medium. Definitely try on before purchasing and taking it home. The worse parking lot! 😫

The place to find good quality outfits. The store seemed a little unorganized, especially shoes section. Associates rarely are to be found and barely offer their assistance, so you’re pretty much by your own if you need to help with your merchandise. Despite all I wrote, their prices are still making me like this store and have them in my favorite clothing stores list!

I went with my fiance & his best man today, while they were seeking suits, shirts & ties, to wear in our upcoming wedding on March 23rd. After several stores & hours spent searching without results, they consulted their close friend, Pastor Carl. He highly recommended K&G Fashion Superstore & was sure they would find everything they needed there, & for reasonably low prices. He was absolutely right!!!When my my fiance & his best man were browsing through suit jackets, somewhat confusedly, Store Manager Lionel Davis approached, asked their specific needs, & directed them toward the complete suits. Although Mr Davis had his hot lunch in-hand, he turned his focus completely on fully assisting his customers, very respectably, knowledgeably, & professionally, by giving kind, helpful, & more than exemplary customer service throughout the entire process.Mr Davis sized each one of them up, resulting in perfectly accurate fits for each one of them, with the first suits they tried, including their shirt sizes, to wear with the suits. Because all of the suit pants are left unhemned, to ensure a properly tailored fit, Mr Davis had the on-site tailor record the precise alteration immediately, on their lists kept with each suit. If other alterations had been necessary, they wouldve all been marked, but in this case, no others applied. Mr Davis asked my fiance if they needed ties, then provided them. The ties came with matching pocket handkerchiefs, which was a classy additional touch.Mr Davis took the extra time away from his lunch, without ever showing any sign of any thought of it, & went to the register with them to finalize the transaction. During the entire time he happily & willlfully offered his service, he adhered to our budget needs, yet provided high-quality merchandise, as well as guiding us through the process of obtaining all available additional discounts.The employees at the register were also outgoing & thoughtfully helpful. Everyone who works there exudes how much they enjoy their jobs. Mr Davis followed the entire transaction through, until the purchase was complete, & we were offering our grateful thanks as we were leaving the store.

I came to look for blazers and suit jacket options. Lionel greeted me as I entered and directed me towards the suit jackets. He measured me out and suggested a few different brand names, Calvin Klein, joesph abboud. I told him that I was in the market for a nice suit jacket / blazer for multi use. He educated me on the different types for uses such as formal, informal, and casual. He talked about the different type of fabrics how it performs for different weather and longevity. Then we talked about colors for a timeless look. As I tried on several jackets I came to really liking two, it mentioned there was a sale going on with the jackets that comes with matching pants. I went for it as it was a great deal for the quality came out with blue & grey suit and sent me over to Tommy to get the suit tailored fit, since of the shelves doesn’t give you a perfect fit. The service was excellent, painless. Tommy tailor my jacket to remove the rolls on my shoulder and tailored my pants to fit better and with a half break. When all was finished I came out looking sharp, with two complete suits tailored , couple shirts and ties to add. I was excited and happy because I felt the experience overall was personalized, they really took care of me and gave great suggestions with backed knowledge. Thank you very much Lionel, Jermiral, and Tommy.

When I first entered the store I wasnt greeted despite there being 5 cashiers at the front. The first employee I asked for directions acted irritated at my inquiry ( but I am a black man so I dont browse aimlessly, thats problematic apparently.) When I wondered to the shirt area I was confronted by a manager whos main objective was to help me by tossing me a pair of slacks and walking off telling me to look for someone named Ricardo or something Hispanic. Ricardo was MIA... I just took the slacks to the front and bought them. I really needed an entire outfit, so I instead bought my shirt, belt, shoes, ect elsewhere.... the other stores referred to k&g as the Ross of mens business wear I can see why.If u need assistance just go to a real store where it to isnt bare minimum self serve.

Always an adventure. Long lines and unavailable staff. BUT...for trendy affordable clothes you cant beat them. The tailor is affordable and efficient. Youre paying for the clothes not the service. Its a standard retail experience...but for the young urban fashion forward, they cant be beat.

I actually thought the staff was very helpful. Its unorganized for sure. My issue was when I checked out the young lady forgot to give me my receipt so I immediately came back for it. The manager gets an attitude. First she says I must have requested it be sent by email. No I did not. So she looks it up and tells me she cant reprint it. Now I find that stupid, but Ive worked retail so I understand. But instead of apologizing or problem solving (because I just outfitted my entire family and I didnt want to leave without a receipt for such a large purchase), she gets an attitude I dont know what you want me to do. I cant do anything for you. Arent you the manager? Arent you supposed to demonstrate customer service. Im beinf polite and she preemptively starts being rude. Now I never shop at K&G but its Easter, but I was reminded why avoid these type of stores. You can tell they think that they are dealing with a certain type of clientele. One where customer service and decorum isnt required. Anyway the polite young lady stepped in. She did forget to give me my receipts and my gift cards and had just finished calling me to let me know. Its unfortunate her supervisor didnt have the same class when dealing with customers.

Normally 4/5 times I get really great service here. However, today when I went in there it look like nobody was working. I wanted around for about 1/2 hour looking for an associate. When I went up to the front counter to ask if somebody was working in the back I was told that the line starts over there. When they finally did summon someone back to come help me the advice that I got, and the help that I got was you can go all crazy with all the clothes you want to . So while I would say that I have an okay experience most of the time these horrible experiences have made it so that I do not want to shop here anymore.

This used to be my go-to inexpensive suit store and now its awful. You cant try on the items you want to buy. You have to buy and potentially return in order to try on the clothes you want to purchase.

Besides the cashier being the only polite employee apon me walking in to greet and speak... it only took 4mins before being asked to place my shopping bag at the front door from a different retailer while 2 other customers are walking around me with shopping bags as well, noting the fact that I am a female (of color) and only one around that was asked to take my bags upfront... just a sad experience. Not worth the trip.

I have only been in here one time and I went looking for someone who could help me find the right size for my husband, found someone, she was helpful and very nice but then I went to check out... the woman who helped me was very nice and obviously new and looked like she was trying to do things right, so she asked a question to another employee who gave her an attitude said its too late to do that (rewards card) and walked away without even attempting to help her so she tried to sign me up anyway and she got stuck and was desperately looking around to find another employee who would not get annoyed with her asking questions. So she nicely asks for help and this girl comes up and moves her out of the way to sign me up... no smile no emotion no thank you for being patient... no nothing... I am someone who looks for customer service, there was a huge lack of it here... I suppose I may come back and give the place another shot but that was not a good first experience for me... smile at your customers and make them feel welcome and like you care that they are coming to your store to shop...

They have alot of good stuff on sale. Clothes are very nice. Customer service is very attentive. The reason why I only put 4 stars. Because, when we were checking out our product. The cashier charged us for 7 shirts. When we only had 6 shirts. I brought it, to her attention by asking her two simple questions. At what size do you start charging extra? She reponded: Large. Then I asked her: I thought it was 2 shirts for $25?She paused for second 🤔 She doubled checked and realized she charged me 7 shirts instead of 6. She was very polite and she apologized.. Two points to my story. 1st point: Cashiers please, please pay attention. When your scanning the customers products. 2nd point: Customers please pay attention to what you are paying for. Its ok ask questions. We all make mistakes.. Highly recommend K&G 👍
